Thanks Cody! Those are realistic looking baits for sure. Man these long day of fish catches make it so annoying to edit

Nice pike! It was getting up there into monster category. 34 - 36" is just nice, even 38" when they break 40" they are getting big! The largest I've witnessed landed (I did not catch it) was 54"

36" is a baby in the Sask water that I fish. My pb is 46.5" from Pasqua Lake. A 50"+ would be an incredible sighting!

@@TTangOutdoors I'm western n.y. near lake Ontario & all its tributaries. 18 -28" is all day long round here if u know how, when & where 2 fish them.
30 -38" is mixed in there about 1 - 2 times per 8hrs of fishing on foot or by boat. The true monsters are about 1 or 2 per season if u can stay with it,it is a very long season around here, only close each April for 1 month. I saw a 54" caught in black creek churchville n.y. I've seen photos of as much a 3" longer but did not see it landed. Last time out,1 cast, first cast in that same black creek. Wham ,34" with a hoola skirt of teeth marks & missing scales at the start of the dorsal fin, u know far down a northern pike that is :talk 2/3 its body length: all scrapes, rakes & drags missing scales were drug back up to its head, from the dorsal fin to the rear was perfect without blemish. It was obviously a clean snap from the onset & held there for quite some time before it twisted, wiggled & pulled out in reverse & managed to escape. It was obvious it went in head first & escaped in reversed. No matter what species the attacking pike or pickle may have been, walleye, northern or gar in my estimations 53 to 73" is realistically within the realm. This 34" northern was taken several weeks after apparent said attack,on a solid rapala (non jointed) chautues & gold flat fish minnow bait! This is not the first time I have witnessed this sort of thing, oddly enough it has always been on a northern pike's body? No other fish ever in my life were found alive & bore this mark & scars.
