❤❤❤ Yup, That’s literally everything that is there!
Awesome, glad to know I didn’t miss too much.
Yup...that's pretty much all of it...
Not only is that pirate boat good for kids, it's a BLAST for adults. I have never had so much fun!!!!
That is great to hear! My kids and I had a fun and memorable time as well.
Thanks for sharing about our bar!! Jimmy’s crows Nest ❤️
Excellent video and very helpful! Thank you.😊
I enjoyed this video thanks for everything I will here for 7 days the week of July can't wait
Thanks! I hope you have a great & safe trip. I know I always looked forward to coming here before finally just moving here. Hopefully I can get a few more videos up that show things you will definitely want to do on your trip!
@@ThatBeachDude ok thanks I'm trying to look now
Enjoyed the video 👏
Thanks so much. Going next month!!
Hello Elisha,
That’s great, and I hope you love it here. Please make sure you get some strong sunscreen as soon as you arrive. Even an hour out here can really turn people into lobsters. I will put up a video on St. Petersburg soon that may give you some fun ideas as well. It’s only about 15-20 minutes south. I have been very busy working with clients buying and selling homes lately and also need to go ZipLining this weekend in Oldsmar (in between Clearwater and Tampa). But I try to get that video up this weekend.
If you take a walk on the Clearwater Beach towards Caladesi just passed the last set of homes there is a shell tree and people put shells in this tree with messages on them.
Hello Di,
It’s awesome that you mention that. It is actually going to be in a future video in a month or two. I can’t wait to get back out on the water again for the summer here and show a few things similar to that in multiple locations around here. Thanks for reminding me!
@@ThatBeachDude it's great that you're doing that because once people see the video they will want to discover it for themselves. A lady on the plane told me about it.
I lived on North Beach .. beautiful
Yes, it’s absolutely gorgeous there!
Are those sunglasses, Oakley Batwolf or Fuel Cell?
I have watched many videos about Clearwater Beach and I have never heard about them having movies on the lawn! How often do they do that? I was there briefly last year until Hurricane Ian disrupted my vacation :( I was only able to walk around one night before I was evacuated to another hotel about an hour away. I had plans to visit a lot of the hot restaurants in the area. Thanks for showing me Jimmy's Crows Nest. I was actually interested in visiting Jimmy's on the Edge, which was close to where I was staying but I never got to go. What's your opinion on that rooftop bar? I hope to get back there soon. Apparently, hurricanes don't scare me, lol!
Wow, sorry to hear about your last vacation. I had a very similar experience when hurricane Delta came through when I was at my condo in Cancun. Luckily it was significantly downgraded by the time it hit, but the damage to the city was pretty bad. Yes, they usually play the movies there Friday and Saturday evening and on many holidays (weather dependent of course). Jimmy's Crow's Nest is good but not great, but again, it definitely makes up for any shortcomings with the view. The rooftop bar (level 11) on St. Pete beach has an even better view as it's truly 360 degrees. The St. Pete Pier also has a great tiki bar at the end (both shown in St. Pete video). This July 4th. the new Imagine Clearwater -Coachman Park will open which is supposed to be phenomenal for this area and supposedly free. It's in the old Harbor Bluff area by the cheaper Clearwater marina (where a lot of people park smaller yachts). I think they are going to have a pretty big party going on with an orchestra, fireworks, food, drinks, and you can also see many surrounding firework displays from there.
Honestly I didn't even leave my house in clearwater right on the water for hurricane Ian. It hit some of my friends really bad around Venice and Port Charlotte though and on the other coast it caused massive flooding. We haven't been hit bad by a hurricane here in Clearwater since 1914 (supposedly from some old Indian blessing...) when Caladesi and Honeymoon Island were made out of Hog island up in Dunedin. Hopefully that's true, but honestly who knows.
@@ThatBeachDude I just saw that you had a St. Pete video so I will have to check that out 🙂 Thanks!
HI what equipment do you use for your vids - I have a gimble but it does not telescope as weel as yours
What’s the address of the Residence Inn that has the all day parking? Planning a visit in a few weeks.
Hello Benita, The address of the exact one in this video is 309 Coronado Drive Clearwater Beach, Florida. It is right behind the huge surf style store that has $20 parking as well.
Hi, do you know anything about the Clearwater cottages? We booked to stay there in a month. Wanted to get some
reviews.
Hello,
Unfortunately I am not familiar with this particular place. But based on location, you will be a VERY short walk to Mangrove Shell Key which will be a very memorable experience for your family if you have not been before. Short synopsis is you attach a shell with a wish to the tree (take a sharpie or nail polish). There will also be everything in this video plus a lot more to do just south of there (easy walk). The sky bar (Jimmy's Crow's Nest) I visited will also give you a great view of most things you may easily otherwise miss. I would highly recommend skipping the food there though... You will want to get there within 15-20 minutes of them opening though or you likely won't find a good place to sit. If you have children with you, the pirate boat will be their favorite activity for the money other than the free beach. I hope you enjoy your visit. If you don't have a car access you can take the Jolly Trolley all over the place to place like Sand Key, Tarpon Springs, Downtown Dunedin, the Dunedin Causeway, etc. for super cheap and its fun to just relax. I hope this very long no at least helps a little... ;)
@@ThatBeachDude Thank you! I heard about this! Look forward to it :)
How’s the red tide?
Hello Ben,
The red tide has been gone for about a week and a half now. It was actually pretty bad this last time though. After the red tide was over the water became noticeably more clear. The water is actually the prettiest I recall it being in a long time.
@@ThatBeachDude thanks for the response, I’m planning a trip in July so it’s hard to predict.
Forgot to mention the sharks.
True. There are sharks here, but the average person is probably more likely to win the lottery or get hit by lightning than encounter one while in the water here. I swim in this ocean pretty frequently and did come within two 2-3 foot of a small/medium sized bonnet head shark a few years ago. He was terrified of me and I was actually too shocked to see him to even have the time to get scared in the heat of the moment. I was only about waist deep off a tiny un-named island off Clearwater at the time. I really wish I had that one on video!!! Gorgeous fish though, looked very close to a hammerhead.
Are you familiar with Aunt Becky?
I'm sorry I might be confused... From Full House?
All of Florida is very very flat and hot...everything is mostly man made..so it's mostly gift shops and bars...very flat, average elevation of the whole state is 30 feet above sea level...
Yes, this is true. It is also nice and sunny here. Depending on where you are from it can feel very humid and hot in the summers. We do also have more bars and gift shops than many other areas as the Florida economy is very tourist focused in many areas.
And join Scientology
I’m pretty sure you will want to go over to Clearwater (Ft. Harrison Rd.) if you want to do do that. Clearwater beach is part of the island chain off of Clearwater. 👍😁
