Que vídeo incrível, muito obrigada ❤ sou brasileira e queria muito saber mais sobre St Pete, vou no final de semana e já tenho o roteiro do perfeito 💖💖💖
St. Pete is the #2 destination in the country for 2024. I’ve always liked St. Pete. I was there just a couple of weeks ago hiking in the mangrove swamps of Weeden Island Preserve for a hiking spree I’ve been doing annually. Orlando is my original hometown, but I really like Tampa/St. Pete. There’s no shortage of restaurants in St. Pete….lol. Go Rays and Magic!!
Love the video. Making us miss some of our favorite spots. Interesting to hear your perspective on how it's changed since you were there last. It feels like it's even changed since we were last there 6 months ago
Haha it's crazy! It's growing so fast! I mean we were gone for 13 years so a lot changed in that time. Hope we can meet up when y'all return from your 6 month world race lol
Yep cleaned up a lot,I remember the days when we sat on our sailboat docked listening to gun shots. The have made a wonderful job of upscaling downtown.
My Daughter is heading down there this weekend for several days and I'm going to pass along your recommendations for places to eat. I know she'll find the beach on her own lol.
nice... we stayed in St Pete last time we were in Florida, which is now 8 years ago. time flies. and guess what - we rented an Air BNB in Gulfport! loved the old character and slower pace of the place and it was a good central location for day trips in every direction. had one of the best sangrias of my life at Little Tommies Tiki. I remember we spent a day in the downtown on a day when they had a market going on with lots of food and art vendors and then walked all along the waterfront there. cool to see so many of those places in your video!
Thank you for the video on this area. We stayed at Fort DeSoto Campground for a few weeks in December of 2023. Unfortunately, it was cold and rainy the whole time we were there. 🥲Great restaurant recommendations, as always, you guys do not disappoint. -Michelle
I was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. I'm ever on the hunt for the best Cuban sandwich. I'm going to need to make the trip to PIpo's! Love this video!
Was it fun doing a travel video of your hometown? Probably a little tough because you guys know all of the places. We definitely have to go back and check out your Fort DeSoto video. That has crossed our radar screen as a place to camp.
It's heaven for camping! Literally one of our top places ever! Not just cause it's our hometown. Yes and no, so much more we wanted to show and not enough time.
@@EatSeeRV Good to hear that it is a good place for camping. When we were planning our "Florida Gulf" tip for Jan. 2023, it was on our list of places. We ended up going to Gulf Islands National Seashore because I was leery of Fort DeSoto because of some of the negative reviews I had seen which talked about unfriendly staff, poor maintenance, and a rat problem. We probably have seen your Ft. DeSoto video; nonetheless, might have to watch it again. As you guys know, it can be a challenge to pick a good place to camp even with all of the online information.
Just wanted to say thanks again for this video- went with wife and in-laws to St Pete and you guys made me feel like a tour guide even though only my second time there. We all went to Pipos and everyone really loved it. I even ordered a Cuban to take back to hotel, and later on ate it sitting on hotel floor at like 2 in the morning lol. The second night we trekked over to downtown and ate at Trophy Fish. It was wonderful. I had suggested going to that Gelato place, but I got the sense that in-laws didnt feel like trying to find another parking spot so we walked to Mama Mias and they had really good gelato. Would love to spend more time in St Pete as we were only there a few days
I saw you eating ice cream in Gulfport and thought for sure you were going to say “Let It Be” but Plant Love is good if you don’t/can’t eat dairy. Although they also have non-dairy options. That gelato place you mentioned is also amazing but I can never remember the name.
I can't wait to catch red snapper off of my Sea-Doo. And walk around and enjoy this beautiful place. I met some of my neighbors I'm 60 and I'm young and so fit for my age but it's a beautiful challenge to unlock what I wish will be the best 10 years of my life maybe longer, but I'm thankful for the journey
I haven't really done social media so much but I knew when I came here last summer that this is what I should do for myself for another 10 years. I want to be part of the community of South Pasadena. I work as a registered nurse. I have a very small bubble, but I want to meet everybody.
It brought back memories when you mentioned Webb’s City. When I was a child there were mermaids there (like at Weeki Wachee) although I think my folks went for the meat market.
Just curious what high school you attended (Bogie 61). Growing up on St Pete Bch (53 on), you couldn't see the Gulf because of the sand dunes & sea oats. Plus, those gorgeous Australian Pines that lined Pass-A-Grill, killed off by 2 cold snaps.
Just found your channel. Love it. Saying hi from the south east Florida coast. Xoxox I am vegan but watching you guys eat I feel you’re honest. Xoxoxox. :)
You like Baja and St Pete; I'm a fan! Our family lived on Clinton Street in Gulfport when Dad went to Stetson. The house is 3 up from the bay on the right; rent was $75/month. I went to Mrs Schaefer's kindergarten at the end of the street. I'm a native Floridian and need to come back and see what's going on in God's Waiting Room... I had a friend who liked The Floridian on Treasure Island for Cuban' Sandwiches but your stops look good!
So funny to see “my” little stretch of Central in a video. I’m at SukhaLife for yoga most days and often stop at Bandit. If the line isn’t too long! Bright Ice does have the best ice cream. I got some good new ideas, thanks for sharing! 😎
I'm sure you're aware of the feud of where the Cubano sandwich was created. Some say Ybor City, some say Havana and even some others say Key West. I say they're delicious!
We’re going there next week, travelling from Holland. If I see kind of food eaten there I am afraid I will be hungry all the time! It’s greasy and not even nice to look at. 😢
Yay so excited for plant love! Ha let’s be real. It’s true. Vegan is so much better on your stomach. Proud of you. Try to add more vegan into your videos. Ever review house of vegano? They’re expensive lol
I just bought a property there a couple months ago. I'm wrapping up my retirement in Atlanta. I have the intercoastal in my back yard. I just got back to Atlanta going through the airport now and I miss my home in South Pasadena

Nice tour of our city! Such an amazing place to live or visit : )
It is such a special place 💕

Loads of memories and opportunities coming your way though

For real! Night and day
I love your passion for trying out different types of food: open to the diversity of life.😊🎉❤
Absolutely! We LOVE trying new foods

Oh man sounds like an amazing trip! And yes time flies especially when you're having fun down in Mexico 😉
I love this tour! And your Spanish pronunciation skills are excellent!
And the vibe in St. Petersburg is exquisite 👌 ✨️
🎉❤Thank you.
God Bless 🙌 🙏
Thanks Sheila. Glad you enjoyed it
By far one of the best videos I've seen on St Pete. Y'all killed it! Great info, thank you! 🤙🏽😍

St Pete Beach is GREAT!!!! Alan
Beautiful Trees! Love white sand beaches. My son enjoyed the art museum.
I'm going to St. Pete in a month and I would love to see all those murals in the video. Can you share a link to the map you had? Great video.
I was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. I'm ever on the hunt for the best Cuban sandwich. I'm going to need to make the trip to PIpo's! Love this video!

Haven't tried Let it Be! Gonna have to go. We love Plant Loves flavors. I remember the name but feel like I'm pronouncing it wrong everytime
Excellent review of St Pete but maybe 3 more of these would really cover it. I live 5 miles north of there.
Yes there's a lot to see and do in this area! A 20 minute video definitely can't cover it all
Excited to try the gelato place…. So many vegan options!!!!
Boardwalk grill in materials beach is really good
Fantastic video and vibe, you both rock
Thanks 👍🏼 glad you enjoyed it!
USF grad,. born in Saint Petersburg 1977.. Awesome video! Enjoy the journey

Do ittttt! And say that we sent you please 😁
Thanks for all these tips! I'm always visiting my parents in FL and they have no idea where to go : )
Awesome, assuming they are in St. Pete then?
@@EatSeeRV Near St Pete : )

I went to St. Pete High. :)
Hi Guys, do you have any info about how St. Pete is doing after Milton?
It's rough in some parts but beaches are open and downtown is like nothing happened. Definitely worth visiting. The area needs tourist money!
Just found your channel. Love it. Saying hi from the south east Florida coast. Xoxox I am vegan but watching you guys eat I feel you’re honest. Xoxoxox. :)

Haha that's awesome! Neighbors really. We've been to the Floridian, Pipos still trumps it!
I’m from Saint Petersburg too!! I loved it so much but the housing prices are crazy!!!!!
Hah you're not wrong. But then again they're crazy everywhere!
If you want to explore the history of the area, I suggest taking a Bay Area Info Tour. You will love it!
Cool 😎

Thank you for this insights.
Ì‘m from Austria. March 2025 we‘ll travel to St. Petersburg
We are looooking forwart ❤
Enjoy. March is a wonderful time to visit
Thanks, we will do.
We know this because we have friends who live in St. Pete. 😀
Best Park to visit in St Pete is Jordan Park and Childs Park make sure you go at night
I would not recommend that lol 😆
I prefer Hallandale beach Florida beautiful city good beaches and restaurants and growing businesses and communities, and good night life.❤🇺🇸
We'll have to check it out. Never heard of it!
@@EatSeeRV it’s a beautiful beach city.
Amazing video
Thank you!
Bradenton and Sarasota are pretty cool, too.
We haven't visited Bradenton much but love Sarasota
Try Orlando Latin Market on 30th Ave and 34th St N. The best Cuban food.
Ooohh well have to try it!
I don't see the link you mentioned for the mural art biking tour.
I just added it! Sorry about that 🚴🏼♂ Bike Mural Tour: viator.tp.st/9eFHAi9H
When you say St. Pete. You are referring to St. Petersburg right? I thought at first this was St Pete Beach lol Shows how much of a tourist i am
Yes St. Pete beach is the beach area of St. Petersburg which is what we're showing here 😁
Thanks!
Thank you for the tip David ☺️
Minute 13:02 onwards: Mmm, that Cuban Sandwich looks delicious! 😊
It's so freaking good.
I went to school with Dennis, that just blew my mind Lol
I'm sure you're aware of the feud of where the Cubano sandwich was created. Some say Ybor City, some say Havana and even some others say Key West. I say they're delicious!
Agree on the deliciousness! Haha 😆 origins be damned.
We’re going there next week, travelling from Holland. If I see kind of food eaten there I am afraid I will be hungry all the time! It’s greasy and not even nice to look at. 😢
There's a diverse food scene. We chose to eat this food but it's not like everything on every menu is greasy or fried. Enjoy your trip!
Did you say you bought a home here? Did you also buy a home in Mexico?
We did not buy in Mexico. It's a cash country so that will be a while. We did buy a home in St. Pete
13:14 that’s not baguette, that’s cuban bread, different ingredients, different process
Think the St Pete / Tampa area is the best part of Florida.
It's a lovely part. There's so many great parts of Florida we can't say there's a "best". We love it all!
Yay so excited for plant love! Ha let’s be real. It’s true. Vegan is so much better on your stomach. Proud of you. Try to add more vegan into your videos. Ever review house of vegano? They’re expensive lol
Haven't been! We're not vegan but enjoy it many times. Not sure it will appear regularly since it's not something we always seek out when traveling.
Bring back the “Man Bun”.
Yesss lol
I just bought a property there a couple months ago. I'm wrapping up my retirement in Atlanta. I have the intercoastal in my back yard. I just got back to Atlanta going through the airport now and I miss my home in South Pasadena
It's just me a fit, educated, six-year-old male, no wife for children rediscovering the beauty of the world. I'm looking forward to all of this.
You did a great job showcasing St Pete, Gulfport, and the beaches. It is a fabulous place to live though it is growing expedentially. 💖🙏✌️
Yes thanks 👍🏽 glad you liked it
Don’t come here people. I don’t want people to waste hard earned money.
Sorry you feel that way. I love when people discover how awesome this area is!
