Just be careful further south e.g. Hobart, Port Arthur some of our overseas visitors can be a bit hazardous in the camper vans...they would've tickled more than our bull bar if we had one...scared the crap out of us a few times...safe journeys..
@@Sparkysontheloose thanks for your reply, I've been following your adventures around Australia gear stuff! I don't have a 4x4 or an off road caravan, but I will still travel on reasonable dirt roads, safe travels👍
Awesome! A lot of dirt roads are accessible via 2wd which is great. The off road setup will be stronger and handle any damage or stress a lot better which we glad we choose it.
Gday legends, im heading over this sat. I arrive 7pm and plan on having a feed at the pub (as you did) and setting up the roof topper somewhere nearby. Do you remember where you spent the 1st night? Thanks for your time again
Hey James, it's Forth Valley on wikicamps. We still remember having a good jack daniels and coke on tap there. There's plenty of space at the camp so you should find a spot. She's starting to get a bit cold over there so bring extra blankets haha.
I can see that there is no need the famous bracelets on the wrists and feet attached to a heavy chains to the new residents of Tasmania! Ah Ah Ah, thanks for sharing.
I like your natural and relaxed commentary. Makes the videos feel welcoming :)
Awesome 👍
Wow, Beautiful Upload friend. keep it up. Thank you for sharing this to us. Greetings from Korea
Love Tassie! It truly is a magical place.
What a trip! Great sights and stunning views. It's good to know what it's like taking a caravan over.
Thanks K!, Hopefully you will get the chance to come travel over here and some point. I wonder how much it costs to ship one over 🤔
Daydreaming about buying a caravan in Australia instead... one day.
Thanks for taking the time to edit and post your trip's. Much enjoyed. Helping us map out our destinations also.
Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the warning, wasn't expecting this place to be so busy.
how rough the sea was during your journey ?
not very, pretty smooth
Great video, how much was it to bring the car and caravan to Tassie and back?
Thanks, it was around $1800 return during peak season. Worth it when Tassie has so many free camps to offset the barge price.

Haha true that, times have changed :)
Amazing views of Tassie. Tqs for the brilliant video mate. BTW are there many free campsites in Tassie?
Heaps of free camps! We spent $100 on accommodation in total which is great as it offsets the price of the ferry. Cheers 🤙
My god i miss tassie. Great vid excited for the next one. Hopefully u guys hit up montezuma falls!
Great video guys! was great to see what the Spirit of Tasmania was like especially for dog owners! look forward to seeing your next video.
Thanks guys!
I would be the same with my Stella Rose
one of my favourite clips makes me want to be there with you
So it was cold ? what time of the year was it?
I think March from memory so it started getting cold. It dropped to 1C at cradle mountain for us one night.
what did the ferry cost ?
At the time I think it was around $1600 return. Pre booked 2 months advance.
@@Sparkysontheloose thx mate
