Guys, the Big Bell Hotel you might be interested to know is actually an Art’e Deco ‘Twin’. It was one of two identical hotels built at the same time. Its ‘sister’ is still trading as a pub in Western Australia and is the ‘Como Hotel’ in South Perth. You can go a get a chicken Parma there and a middy and see what real Art’e Deco looks like.
I was on the old bell new mine when reclamation of the old slag piles in 1988,the old pub has a sister pub built from the same design is the old cot hotel in cottesloe.

Are we to believe you didn't climb through the holes in the fence to check out the inside of Big Bell pub? :) We did when we went there. It gets the imagination going when you're in there.
One question To do these trips do you as both licensed sparkie both pick up work wherever to help fund these trips? How much fuel / water are you carrying ?

2 Jerry cans of fuel, only filled when remote. around 200L of water. We saved up so we didnt have to work, only worked 5months out of 4 years

With the way everything is at the moment we would be silly to make tracks anywhere. Currently focusing on getting financially ahead.
