    Idk if im the only one that feels this way but helmets actually kinda add some steezyness in transition. I just like they way they look on skaters in parks it just looks right. Street i get how some people think it looks off tho

    This is literally a few blocks away from home. Thanks a lot for sharing this hidden gem. By the way, to enter the community did you have to identify yourself or anything or just walked straight in like nothing? Also, while at the Park were people asking if you were camping they or could you skate without worrying about security or something bothering? Really glad I found this video. Great images and super clear to get a sense of the obstacles, glad you skated pretty much the whole park.

    My local park is kind of similar to this and has had bits added to it over the years. It is a really flowy tight park that a bit rough in places but just so much fun to rip around

    Worth trying some Lakai Cambridge next time if you like the style yourself at least.. I've been going through the colorways because they're so comfy and good to skate in I feel like I'm gonna be let down when I try a different shoe now. They last really well too!

    There's some ditch spots with some diy along the tracks at Del Mar/Torrey Pines, a video of those would be cool. They're between Torrey Pines and 11th street.

    Do a helmet vid, and then do a vid with full protection (knee pads etc) bc no doubt that’ll give more confidence even if people won’t think you look as cool…

    Thank Buddha for Dowdy. Footage and content is always done well and keeps my attention. Never corny unlike the other videos that pop up. For instance, this one dude who creates skate vids talks way too much about himself when needs to worry about keeping his camera way too up and close in his mug to where a quarter of the footage is shots of the inside of his hairy nose and another quarter is close shots of his rough teeth and his crusty ass moustache not to mention the back of his neck needs to be clipped like before the pandemic began. Im no supermodel and my teeth may look like Andy Roys did 15 yrs ago yet Im not recording myself every minute of the day hoping for some gnarly shit to go down or of me telling skate war stories of what I done or can do but cant do now becuz of a bruised elbow. Damn Im hating today, woooowww¡!!!! Dowdy rips- content is always entertaining and to the point. Im never waiting or wondering whats going on or where the episode is going. I dig that Dowdy takes road/skate trips with his homies and shit. Anyway- keep rip'n Dowdy. Great work. Keep it up

    It is kind of a secret as the Friendly Bowl skate park is for resort guests only who are camping at Campland. Skaters - come camp with us if you'd like to use the skate park.

    • @Ravean_Aaron
      @Ravean_Aaron 2 роки тому +3

      You should work on allowing locals to use the park… even a fee would work… it’s always a bummer to see such cool features in our community only available to tourists. As a local, I’d rather not have to camp a mile from my house to skate for an hour
