Really thinking about getting in a front loader. Been driving a concrete mixer for 6 years. Its time for a change always wanted to get into garbage because it's always gonna be there. What's the pay like in garbage we talking a good career?
Yea the joysticks can be crazy when you first try it but for me I was soo anxious to do it I knew I had it down on my 3rd dump . I only dropped an can in the hopper once in my career due to me giving the fuel pedal too much kick to dump a can . Soo your right about everything being different even if the truck is the same brand
Right on im in texas running residential rear load keep up the vids i jumped in a front loader last week and thanks to. You i was familiar and comfortable operating it
Love the vid, I had the privilege of a 18 hr day yesterday behind the wheel of a 26 foot Penske with a Cummins engine and air brakes, ran like a champ at 72 mph, as I moved my boy and his wife and child to Abilene from Oklahoma. now a matter of heading back to work tonight for five days straight. making that money . Stay positive, I know financial matters and personal matters will be okay as God is in control. looking forward to seeing you restart your own company. proud of you. brother
@@CoolHandMacc yessir, definitely, while currently dishwashing sometimes 6 days a week can be daunting it is a job that I have come to appreciate when I eat out anywhere, Driving has its benefits as well, but I am glad to be back in Abilene for sure lol.
That truck is so so slick through them gear changes. These uk front loaders are all sluggish especially when you have more than 4 tonnes on board. Great videos and good to see someone who enjoys the job as much as I do. Stay safe 👍
Usually front loading is like therapy for me but somethings do get to be too much . I just found out I got a heart condition and I pray it don’t sideline me from the truck permanently
I'm the same way, i just feel at home behind the wheel. And though problems never completely disappear, operating that front loader takes a lot of stress away for me. I pray that you will beat whatever is causing this condition J, you got this brother!👊👊👊
I feel ya 100% Genetic heart condition took me out of trucking. Had surgery. I still have the condition but doing better. Made it through some hard times. Ive got my dot physical again and an interview with Waste Management. Keep your head up ☝ and take care of yourself👍
Good video as always brother man.does DeKalb unhook your ac when you get a new truck or you prefer the window down. I know from videos that bfi unhooks them when there new to save fuel.
I like that your truck has a hopper camera. That’s really useful. We just had a guy that was sleeping inside a container get dumped. A hopper camera might have helped save that mans life.
Great work! Love the In cab ride along videos. I feel like you’re about to be able to start up MCS again. From the way you’ve been taking about it, it seems like you’ve been planning everything out. Just keep working at it, it will happen. When you start up again, I will definitely come by and take some pictures and videos of you doing what you do best! Keep up the great work man! You’re very inspirational for people in the refuse industry.
Totally enjoy your videos sir! Prayers for your better half. I started following you years ago when you videotaped some of my guys. The company was Express Waste. I’ve got 25 years experience in the waste business. Would love to talk to ya one day if your serious about doing your own thing. Stay safe out there.
Now this is a true unexpected and welcomed surprise. You had some great looking equipment. It's a true honor to meet you. If you can, please send me your email address so we can talk more in depth. I would greatly appreciate any and all advice that you have. Thanks so much for commenting.
Sorry to hear about your girl bro..I been thru a lot myself..divorce, bankruptcy, big career change..but I managed to pull thru it all and am in a way better position financially, relationship wise, and now driving a front load like yourself..keep faith and there’s always a way 👊🏼 -Adam
Hope everything works out good for you and your family...when you working for your self are you considering about going back ORT over the road again and bring your kids with you?
You've probably answered this question countless times before but, how do you get into a job like this? I just recently got my chauffeur license awhile back and I've always wanted to do your job (I know, probably a weird thing to WANT to do lol) but I'm not sure how to get started. I know for some of those trucks you need a CDL, but do I have to go to a full like...semi trucking school? Is there another way to do it? Keep up the great work, man, and remember trouble doesn't last always! After the rain always comes the sun.
The best thing is to look for hiring fairs for WM or Republic. They have decent training and top notch pay compared to a lot of municipal operations such as DeKalb. I know this is late, but were you able to find anything since your comment?
How many stops you rock a day brotha. I'm up here in K town Tennessee and a drive a rear loader running commercial and I rock about 70 to 80 stops a day but they scattered. Love the truck and hope you and yours get better
Thanks a ton brother. I average about 110 on the heavy days. Preciate the comment, I have a lot of respect for rear load commercial. What kind of equipment are you running?
First time viewer, and I like the video. I also watch the one from March 5,2019. Only thing was the volume level of the audio. I know that’s because you are away from the camera. Wish you had a microphone attached to your uniform. Maybe one day you can do that. But, I’m impressed with how you do your job. You are very good at it. Keep up the good work. Plus, I get the sense you are a Christian, and I like that. God Bless, and be safe out there.
Keep your head up brother 💯 ..it happens to the best of us . Me you and everyone. Keep praying and holding your head high and you will get through it 💯

Really thinking about getting in a front loader. Been driving a concrete mixer for 6 years. Its time for a change always wanted to get into garbage because it's always gonna be there. What's the pay like in garbage we talking a good career?
It can be. Pay depends on your part of the country too. Here in Georgia, most private haulers are making $60K and better depending on experience.
I won't even tell you how many I have dropped lol
Well in this game it happens
What's the best way to tell if ur truck is about full and needs to head to the dump ?
How many tons can you hold on a front loader?
What's the best way to memorize stops that go multiple days?
You own your own truck .? What company you work for. How do I get into a job with front loader
Did You Fall On The Ground At 25:40 At The Container

As soon as I can, I'll get them for you. I have to replace my magnetic GoPro mount.

Amen to that, it really can help. It's a sad thing that happens all across the country unfortunately.

Iam think about getting in this field ,do u guy have GPS
Yep but it's the tracking type. As far as the routes, someone will most likely train you before letting you go out on your own.
That hopper cam is awesome!!

Thanks Adam, and likewise to you
Love this video. I love hearing the sounds of the truck's motor. I assume that must be a Cummins.
These videos are awesome
Is there a signal that lets you know the truck is getting full
Do you work weekends or just Monday through Friday
Monday through Friday for me, but they do have a few Saturday routes.
ThaThunderStorm oh ok
Do you Like cofee?
Hope everything works out good for you and your family...when you working for your self are you considering about going back ORT over the road again and bring your kids with you?

I’m guessing where you live that they don’t make that much and that’s why you want to move on and do your own thing?
The pay is ok, I just always wanted my own trucks.
