Great show,I just replaced my huge stove in my house with a grizzly,I'm at 900 square feet,was20 degree last 2days, single digits at night, kept my single level ranch68 degrees,no problem, very happy very manageable
It is impressive that it works in 900 sq feet- It can make our 192 sq feet too warm (but no complaints on that from me) after we have it going for a few hours so that is pretty good for this little stove 🔥😎

I like your set up for cooking and baking on the wood stove. Thanks for reminding me about Spaghetti Squash! Installing our wood stove was a good idea. Our power goes out 4 to 5 times every winter. It gives us peace of mind knowing if the forced air doesn't work we are still warm. Thanks for the cozy, wintery, cooking video. Cheers!
Ursula-Spaghetti Squash is so good! glad to hear you have a wood stove too- that is one big reason we wanted to get it in this winter, if the power goes out we would be in trouble. having that back up for heat really takes the worry out of winter 👍

Thanks Kathryn, the spagetti squash is so good- sometimes I will just add garlic and oil & it is great that way too! I will be sure to share more of our cooking experiments with the wood stove 👍
Just found your brill vid....moved into a tiny house and wasn't going to have a mini stove BUT to be able to roast too, game changer. I often wondered how to prepare spaghetti squash so learnt tons xxxx
We lived in the house the first 4 winters without it and I can say last year when we got it installed it made all the difference! I love being able to make the house warm and cook at the same time
I believe we got the drying rack on amazon & it is such a great functional piece for drying things all year round, but especially when the wood stove is on! we had the house built by a professional in Chicago & delivered to NJ then we finished the inside
thats great, enjoy! I tried to paint it with high temp paint...but it was not the correct type so it peeled off. gives it a vintage look 😂 enjoy your stove!
Totally love your creative ways to use the wood stove! The oven on top provides tons of delicious cooking recipes. Just curious, did the original black paint burn off? I plan to get some kind of mini wood stove for a small place in the near future.
we ordered our stove about 7 years ago before there were color options- so I decided to paint it with "high temp" paint (not realizing just how hot a wood stove gets!) and it looked really nice until we started using the stove regularly and the paint peeled off 🙈 lessons learned our first time owning a wood stove- besides that we love it!

the microgreens were a pandemic quarantine project for me- I was just reading different articles about how I could grow things indoors and came across that. It has been a fun little project this year. That happened to me a few times when I was editing the video next to the google dot 😂 so funny
I find there is some black dust( fine particles) in my nose after sitting before the wood stove for several hours; I need to open the door to put the firewood into it; and I also put the sweet potatoes wrapped in baking trays on the hot charcoal, which needs to keep the door open for 1 or 2 minutes . Have you had similar experiences? and how can I work around? Bliss, --Gary
Hi Gary, we keep the flue very clean so the air draw works well. We start to notice as soon as it gets a bit dirty we get more air/smoke and particles coming into the house when we open the door to feed the stove. In the winter when we are using the stove daily the flue gets cleaned about every 2 weeks, sometimes more often if we notice it is harder to start the fire. The small diameter stove pipe needs much more maintenance as ive heard other normal size wood stoves only get cleaned 1-2x/season. You do have to be very careful with the indoor air quality when using a woodstove, but we really enjoy it so we dont mind a few extra chores 😊
the oven was made especially for this stove- it was a big reason why I ended up getting this one but I think other wood stove manufacturers should do the same thing- it is really useful
What happened to the finish on the stove? We just purchased one and it will be delivered tomorrow and I saw this and thought omg my husband will not be happy if it starts peeling right away! I think I need that cooker though!
I painted it with a high temperature paint...but didnt realize just how hot the wood stove gets- I should have used a higher temp rated paint so it is my fault...but we love the stove and now it has a very unique look 😂 enjoy your stove & we recommend the oven- I love being able to cook things when the fire is going 👍
