I am so sorry about your neighbor glad you had an opportunity to get to know her. It’s such a blessings to meet people and connect with them through enjoying the same things. It’s hard when our friends and family go so soon I believe she is visiting your garden in her glorified body all praises to the most high 🙌🏽 Thanks for all your knowledge you share wow your garden is doing beautifully 🎉

Sorry to hear about your friend/neighbor!
Thank you ❤
Zucchini looks fantastic! I struggle to grow them here.
Thank you. Considering I thought they were dead from the wind completely bending the stocks over and didn't think they would survive. I do believe I even did a disaster video about them, lol. These ones were started indoors and transplanted out. McKenzie is the name brand and called: Zucchini (Dark Green) and Zucchini (Gold Rush)
Just love how those zucchini can surprise you 😂😂.
haha, all the time they do 😆

Your sunflowers look great - I grew some for the first time this year and its doing fairly well in this extreme heat we have. That's one big zucchini! Rest of your plants also looks great☺
Thanks so much Anne. I saw your sunflowers and yes they are doing well 🥰
Did you know the healthiest part of sweet potato are the leaves? I cut mine, chop them, dry and powder them. Great stuff!
I did not know that. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge ❤ Do you cut the leaves as the plant is growing or just before you go to harvest them?
Sorry to hear about your friends passing. I will be thinking positive thoughts for you.
Those zucchini’s are beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Patricia 🥰
Hello! I'm sorry about the loss of ur lady neighbor. A dear friend's husband died @🏡 on Fri, after a 5 month battle with cancer, and we are grieving with her.
I hope you can place the ornamental flower ur neighbor enjoyed by her grave💐
You have a beautiful field with many veggies growing in ur garden🌻 May you reap a harvest!
Thank you Lina. That is a very good idea. I do not know yet about her family's plans yet. If I cannot, than I can always make a memorable garden bed here for her 🥰 So sorry to hear of your friends passing as well. I pray that all find comfort in fond memories to cherish ❤🙏
I'm so sorry to hear about the death of your neighbor, Krista. I'm sure her love of gardening was one of the most treasured things you shared.
~ Sandra
Thank you Sandra ❤
Hi Krista. I'm trying to catch up on the videos I am very sorry for the loss of your neighbor friend. It's always good to take some time and think about your happy times together. I got stung while visiting a friends garden- We have a ton of hornets here and they haven't bothered me. the zucchinis are fabulous. My friend (who I visited) planted some round zucchini -they are from Mexico. They are about the size or a bit smaller than my watermelon is right now. I might slice them and dip them in egg & flour and fry them. The sweet potato bed looks great.
Thank you Barby 🥰 Those are large zucchini's if they are the size of a watermelon, wow. Yes, I think that would make a great meal. I was actually thinking of doing the same this week as a meal idea 🙂
@@AlmostaGreenAcre-zs5eu Oh Krista, I mean the size that I show in my video. Haha I can't imagine having one the size of a full watermelon. 😉
@@BarbyDailey-Rurallife40 😆Ohhh that size, lol.
Krista, here's one of my favourite zucchini favourites:
ROASTED ZUCCHINI SAUCE
An easy & tasty sauce that adds a pop of flavour, freshness, and tons of nutrients in a little dollop. Delicious on pasta, eggs, or as a dip.
Prep Time 10 minutes Cook Time 30 minutes Total Time 40 minutes Servings 12 Author Meme
Ingredients 1 lb zucchini chopped, about 3 squash 1 large onion chopped 3 cloves garlic peeled 3 TBSP olive oil divided 3/4 tsp salt divided 1/2 cup vegetable broth unsalted, or chicken broth, plus more as needed 1/4 cup sunflower seeds 1-3 TBSP fresh lemon juice
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Toss together chopped zucchini, onion, and garlic cloves with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1/4 tsp salt. Spread on a rimmed baking sheet or baking dish, and roast in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until browned. Set aside for a few minutes to cool.
Transfer cooled veggies to a food processor and add broth, sunflower seeds, and remaining 1/2 tsp salt. Process until smooth.
Stream in the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil and one tablespoon lemon juice. Process until incorporated. Add more broth if needed.
Add more lemon juice if needed {can also add more salt, olive oil, or sunflower seeds}. Keep refrigerated for up to 4 days.
Notes *Makes 3 cups *I use unsalted, raw seeds. Roasted sunflower seeds will give a more pronounced flavor to the sauce.
