- Mari Pablo uncovers what surrendering to God really looks like.
Anytime we face trials, temptations, or hard times, we hear the common adages telling us to “offer it up” or “give it to God.” But what does that actually look like? Where do we begin that process? Maybe there is no concrete “how-to guide”, but we can start by doing two simple things:
1) Stop Fighting.
2) Surrender.

Do you really think God doesn't want more people in holy orders? I've been told we need more since I can remember. The choice should be easy if you want to do God's will.

@@alexnunn1932 when it implies leaving your friends, family, college and all the project you had in mind for the future (mariage, career, etc), let me tell you it isn't so simple. On it's own, this consideration is a true stress test for faith, especially when nearly everyone around you is atheist or agnostic.

Been struggling for 2 years now, I thought being practicing catholic God would spare me and if I pray hard he will give me the thing I’m yearning for.
I’m praying that God will use me to what ever he wants me to be.

I was raised catholic and considered myself catholic into my 50's. As I read authors such as Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Christopher Hitchens, etc and educated myself about an alternative way of considering our world and universe, I became agnostic to religion. As there is no evidence of a God or any of the incredible supernatural events taught by the catholic church, it became easier for me to go through life. I used to pray to "god" for all sorts of things, most of which never occurred. Now that I know there is no God, I put my thoughts and efforts into doing what I need to do to deal with life's challenges and to live a meaningful, rewarding and content life.

This video really resonated with me. I have control issues and scrupulosity issues ocd traits, surrendering is really hard for me because of fear and trust issues.
You mention gifts, please make a video on how to discover the talents and gifts the lord has blessed us with.
Wonderful description of what it is, and what it takes, to surrender one's self to God. I submit that the primary obstacle to fulfilling this complete surrender to Him is one's ego. Bless you for this message.

I needed this. In the waiting period of getting into religious life. I’ve been stressing bc I want to know how much longer it’ll be until I know and I want to know what steps have been taken, but I’ll know on God’s time. Trust that all will work out according to His will for my life and his love and light would be with me always.

This segment was an answer to my pray. I have been struggling with my husband's probate as he didn't leave a will. I just need to place it in God's hands and know He will see me through. 🙏
The best part of life came when I was given the grace to see my need for humility, and surrendering my desires and replacing them with an acceptance of God’s will instead.
I have a really bad feeling, that if I surrender to God, it means I am going to die alone, when I wanted to have kids and Grandkids and even great grandkids. God is torturing me by placing a desire for marriage and children by being a loving husband but never, ever fulfilling it. I am turning into a black pilled incel.
My difficulty us with faith and belief, overwhelmed with intense fear that is crippling and peculiar eerie phenomenon that I know us a demonic assault. I want to know Jesus, walk in solidifying belief and faith, praying for clarity as I pray, read the bible and maintain, only with Gods help, sobriety from addictions and behaviors. Christ Jesus, I reach out to you for a healing, a breakthrough...and give you control as I attempt to get self out of the way...

I was going somewhere on the train a bit earlier than usual and I was terrified at what was going to happen when I got there. I prayed the Surrender Prayer ten times and then after that the train got delayed for 40 minutes and I was late so I didn't have to deal with the problem. 😂

for me, i say "Jesus, I trust in You!" and i'll repeat it until i am understanding the need to let go of whatever it is.

Wow, this was great! We had always watched Father Mike from this channel in elementary school and I was curious to see who else was on this channel, I found this lady and something about her and her videos make me so interested to watch and I never got bored in these 11 minutes. I'm still very young and I just started high school this past school year. I have religion class in the next and final quadmester which starts after our March break which is now April break I guess since they moved it a month back because of covid, and I am so excited to see what they'll teach us this year. I am having such a hard time lately with giving God everything and I was scared of not knowing my path in life or what I'm supposed to do, but.. this is just it- I am not supposed to know but God is. This really helped me understand more. Great video, I learned a lot! :)
