- Clacton pier holla’d ya boy to come clean their log flume, something they do every year! It’s a big job but me poolboybanners and Poolbrochucks got it done and also had a bit of fun in between!!

I worked at a major amusement park as an engineer, the name was sorta like blisney sand. We used a detergent and flocculent in our water rides to help disperse the grease that would accumulate in the water, then it ran thought several big filters. The smart people who told us what we needed to do had done a poll of guests that said if a water ride looked dirty they were less likely to use that attraction, So cleaning was priority. Never seen it done like this before but I bet that detail worked well! Great job team

Another great video. Not sure if you know but Oase make a pond vac that has auto discharge, maybe worth a go. Will save having to keep emptying the wet vac with the puddle pump.
I have used that vac and its awesome.

To stop the liner from being sucked into the pump use metallic mesh from a security bug screen or similar. It’s sturdy enough to provide clearance but thin enough to get suction. Will need to frame the sides with trim so it the sharp edges don’t puncture the liner. Especially useful for above ground pools where the liner is not attached and there is minimal debris.
That was a big hard job end results so satisfying well done team ❤

Going off the video topic, Last Time I was there was July 2021, It was good to see Clacton Beach/ and Pier packed because months earlier I went during the off season & it was sad and depressing, nobody was even in the restaurant/bowling alley. I think the Government needs to do more for seaside towns to make them all year round like Brighton.

Did you have to do any work on their filters? They must have had a pretty big system.
The water looks dirty again at the end. I wonder if there was an area that wasn't shown to you or lack of access that caused this. Looks like something got flushed into the cleaned area.

The man that is in charge of the ticket bit is the person who ripped off my Mrs saying we didn't have tickets when my Mrs paid for them there and then disgusting, will never go back there again and they didn't even have many rides working when we went there, just an awful park
