Purple" makes a cushion out of silicone gel.i have had 1 for a few years,it doesnt breakdown.holds its shape. They are a company that makes mattresses. I bet you could trim it for the cycle.never gets hot and doesnt hold water .very comfy on my boney butt
Another great video! Well, no more riding the Rebel for me. I'll just ride the Kawasaki Versys until it's too cold then the riding season will be over. It snowed this morning so the "it's over part" is closer than I thought! I will sell the Rebel even if I like her but I prefer adventure-style riding. It's better for my back and hips! Not young anymore and I always hurt a lot with the Rebel even with my fancy seat which I think I paid way too much for! lolll In the meantime, I'll watch your videos, those of "On the Rebel 11" and "LifeofBurch". Have fun!
You can buy larger backrest,a comfort seat which is great ...crash bars and you can fit highway pegs to the 1100 rebel we did my partners 500 with all the extras don't go buying honda parts they are to expensive and the Ali Express parts are great to made well check them out

Howdy, Andy! That is Fran's bike ( @FxsX24 ) sitting next to mine. He has the SW-Motech Urban ABS side cases: sw-motech.us/products/luggage/side+cases/URBAN+ABS+side+cases/4052572223710.htm . You can get that full kit from SW-Motech, or get just the individual side cases and use the Honda OEM racks (made by SW-Motech for Honda). Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Absolutely! I was hoping that DynoJet would release a software update for the Power Vision 3 (I already have one from previous projects) that would work with the Rebel, but it seems that the Power Commander is the only option. The real annoyance with these ECU tunes is that they don't remove the 100 MPH speed limiter. @LifeOfBurch used a speedo healer to trick the ECU into thinking the bike hadn't reached the limit yet, so he was able to reach 117 MPH on GPS. I think the Rebel could go faster, but the ECU is still getting in the way. 😉👍 --QM
Yes, 99% of all helmets should fit into the Helmet Hook without any problems. Helmets with D-rings are easiest, but even helmets with ratchet clips will fit. My Schuberth and SHOEI helmets have ratchet clasps, so I latch the two sections together and then drop the nylon strap portion down into the Helmet Hook's groove. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Yep! That's the RiderScan Blindspot Mirror: amzn.to/3nJjXLp . It really helps situational awareness in traffic. There is a learning curve to using it properly because the image is distorted by the mirror's convex shape, but it becomes second nature after a few hours of riding. It's very rare for me to be caught off-guard with a cager hiding in my blind spot while I'm riding with one of these mirrors. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
