Debra Garrison lol! Those people will always exist, but I can't please everyone and that's ok :) Much appreciation and love to you for all of your wonderful support! Thanks girl!
I just came across you channel yesterday via The Domestic Geek and I'm binge watching all your videos now. I love your videos and how upbeat you are, you are not annoying! My fav combo is Strawberry, Cucumber and Lime. Yum!
You are not annoying at all :D , I enjoy watching your videos. My girls love the summer sips. They like seeing the fruit move around and the sip at the end, they both go "ahh" lol they are 2 and 4.
You have a lovely personality and are not annoying at all. Regarding infused water, my favorite is strawberry-basil (sometimes with lemon too). The flavor combination also makes a great smoothie.
I have watched you videos for two straight days so far literally and i can honestly say i haven't forwarded or skip anything!! even recipes i wouldn't eat. so to anyone who says your annoying they need to take a look in the mirror cuz that is what annoying really looks like. :) once again great video!!! i have never seen someone take so much pride and hard work into each video.
+Alexandria Rojas That is amazing, thank you so much! I'm so glad you're enjoying the content and your support means the WORLD. This is a huge passion of mine so it's really nice when people can see that in the content, too :) Much love and happy to have you here!

Sirena Garcia thank you!! My personality may not be for everyone, but that's ok :) My goal isn't to please everyone, it's to connect with people who want to share my passion for living a fun and healthy life! I appreciate your support! Much love
Hey Alyssia. I don't usually comment on videos, but I just have to say I really love your personality and energy. Truth is that's what keeps me coming back to your channel. Stay awesome ♥
+Mogau Kekana :) Hey Mogau, Thank you so much for leaving a comment! It really means the world, and I appreciate your kind words and support. I'm so glad you enjoy the content and that it resonates with you! Much love
thank you for adding the health benefits alongside the fruits and herbs you added and clarifying that just drinking infused water isn't the magic pill in losing weight I can't wait to try these!
I'm so glad this video was informative and helpful for you! Have you seen our infused waters episode that aired last week? If you enjoy infused waters, you might be interested in the recipes there :)
YES exactly!! I'd love to know what you think when you give them a try :) If you like these, you should stick around - more infused waters coming soon... ;)
my favorite would probably be apple, watermelon, grapes and freshly picked strawberries. I went strawberry picking the other day, and can tell a difference. I would love to try the apple, cinnamon and grape one, so I'll make sure to pick up some cinnamon soon!
Of course! Right now I'm drinking some with fresh strawberries, mandarin oranges, pineapple and a very small amount of orange and pineapple juice! Yum 😋
Love the new hair and the no-glasses look. I love your videos they are really really helpful and I learn a new recipe all the time. You're my favorite food/recipe guru! Hahaa, my favorite is strawberries, lemon, and mint leaves with some chia seeds! The mint gives it a refreshing taste that quenches the thirst. Also it gets pretty pinkish-red when you leave it overnight! Thanks for the videos Alyssia! :D
AWESOME VIDEO! I LOVE to put berries and mint into my infused water it has tons of anti oxidants and the minty flavour combined with the berries is lovely! Thanks for the awesome tips!
Hello mind over munch. I tried sweet cherries and slices of lime. Didn't taste much cherry but i know it mixed in well due to color changes to the water. Nice
I love drinking infused waters because personally, I find regular water so dull. It's a mission to just get a liter in, even if I carry a bottle with me. But! I love mint and citrus and cucumbers and fruit, so adding some to my bottles makes drinking water so much easier and much more delicious!
Mind over matter:I've just made five different detox mixtures tonight. Cannot wait to drink them after sitting them overnight. Particularly the lemon/strawberry/mint.
So cool! Thanks for trying out water infusing! Glad you found some flavor combos you enjoyed :) If you enjoyed these ideas, stick around - more infused water recipes coming very soon... ;)
As a big fan of water in its purest form, I wasn't really getting the infused water appeal. But when you listed all the advantages of each one it made me much more interested in them! I thought infused water was just a way to make water taste "better" but it is definitely more than that :)
Me too. I tried this infused water with different combi and sorry water in itself is still the best for me. I don't get how some like the taste of some of this infused water. It does not taste good at all for me haha.
Exactly! I wanted to clear up the confusion about weight loss but share that there are still benefits if you choose to drink it :) glad you found it useful! Thank you!
This is amazing and couldn't have come at a better time. I just bought an infuser jug and water bottle. I have been drinking lemon and cucumber water for a week. I'm so happy you made this video now I know I can put some other stuff in it. I was seriously getting sick of this damn lemon water.😥
Daisy Fuentes that's awesome!!! So glad you're enjoying the videos, I try to put out a lot of content to help with a healthy lifestyle so I am glad you find it useful! Thank you and welcome to the channel! Happy to have you here :)
Cinnamon apple is one of my favorites, totally try it out! Thanks for your love and support 💜 Canada is going well, I'm still there!! USA plays tomorrow!! ⚽️⚽️ thanks so much for asking 😘
I would love to know which infused water flavors you enjoy! Always interested in new flavor combos :) also, if you haven't seen my newest infused water video, you might get inspired by some of those ideas! ua-cam.com/video/AVlm7ShSvxc/v-deo.html
To mind over munch: i came up with some flavors not listed on the videos I've seen. Peach Apple,Pineapple cherry(mint optional),watermelon lemon(mint is optional),Pineapple ginger,Apple cherry(cinnamon optional),Watermelon pineapple and mint. Orange strawberry pineapple with mint. Ive even made homemade cherry lemonade with raw sugar and strawberry lemonade with mint.
I really need to try this! I've been wanting to, but it seems a little gross to me, lol. But on the other hand it totally intrigues me!...I just need to bite the bullet and do it!
Hey guys! Thanks for all the hard work putting these videos together. Overnight oats for life. Anyhow my question was does adding fruit to water add sugar to the water? I would think so but if you have any more info on this id really appreciate it.
Sophie Blackburn thank you!! When you infuse fruit into water, the flavor and minerals infuse but since most of the fruit stays in tact not much sugar is transitioned over, which is why it doesn't taste particularly sweet. Fruit does contain natural sugar but it's natural, so any amount of sugar that you might end up consuming would be small and metabolized quickly since it's not added sugar but rather naturally occurring. Hope this helps!
I've tried cucumber and mint together.. it tastes pretty good! I have to try the cinnamon one.. just a question if I use 2 sticks of cinnamon can I reuse them for another glass? Sorry dumb question :P
***** Not a dumb question! For all herbs, spices and fruits, I generally recommend refilling only 1-2 times after the first time through. They start to lose flavor after that :) The PDF download in the description offers some additional info that you might find helpful :)
Hi, sweet adorable Alyssia. Your infused waters look so crisp, clean, refreshing, and gorgeous. You would look so cute with curly hair. What did you enjoy about infused waters? Have a good day, sweet adorable Alyssia.
The size of the jar will depend on the person! I have tried a lemon, ginger, cayenne shot - but I've never drank an entire pint! I can't make any recommendations for that specific drink, but for this video and other infused waters I've used 16 oz (one pint) mason jars. That size is large enough to hold all of my infusions and the water! Of course, you can use any containers or sizes that you prefer for these recipes :) You can even make an entire pitcher! If you enjoy infused waters, stick around - more coming for you very soon! ;)
I have three one quart mason jars. So for one person should I just stick with pint jars? I purchased the quart jars because I can drink from a bigger container, and it holds more stuff.
I usually refill my bottle when it's about halfway, and do that 2-3 times. After that the flavor won't be as strong :) the PDF in the description has some other general tips that may help! 😊
Alice Shang you can! When it's sat for more than a few hours it can start to get soggy depending on the fruit so it's up to you :) Oranges and grapefruit are usually fine but softer fruits like strawberries aren't my favorite after they've sat.
I've tried lemon/lime infused water as well as cucumber/mint. Though, the cucumber/mint was a little odd, I think I'd used a cumber that wasn't really suited for that kind of application. It might have been an English cucumber. I can't remember.
There are different types of cucumbers I think I just chose one that wasn't too good for infusing :) Perhaps one that is more fragrant would be better.
These are so pretty!!! I do have a question though. I've tried infused water a few years back and when I did, my water became gross and the fruit super soggy and yucky. It's so gross that I can't even drink it. Do you have any suggestions? xoxo
MissGreenEyes DiFranco Hey girl! The fruit will get soggy after it's sat for a while, but the fruit in this isn't necessarily "supposed" to be eaten. You can eat it, but many people choose not to. It's also recommended to not make it TOO far in advance- let it sit for a few hours or overnight, but you don't want it sitting for more than a day or two because it will start to get a bit yucky. You can also get those bottles or pitchers that have infusers in them to help keep the fruit and water separate if you'd like, but they aren't really necessary if you're only making it for a day at a time. The PDF download offers some additional general tips on infused water that you might find useful if you're interested :) Cheers!
Thanks hun! You're always so sweet replying super quick to my questions, so thank you so much. I do have one of the water infuser, but I still wasn't crazy about it. I get super grossed out by slimy fruit, so I was turned off when I made my infused water. I'll check out your PDF and also won't let it sit too long next time. :) xoxo
I've had a lemon lime one but how many days or hours can u have the same fruits in the but just keep pouring in more water each time u drink it?? BTW Great vid (:
Once mine reaches half full I usually refill it to add water to infuse, and do that 2-3 times per batch of fruit. After that they start to lose flavor. The PDF download in the description has some additional tips that may help you 😊
Any recommendations on ways to use the fruit after drinking? I feel like it would be a waste of money to just throw them out when I'm done drinking my water.
***** It depends on how long you let it infuse- if it's only a few hours then on the one hand you'll still be able to eat the fruit but your water will be less flavored. If you let it infuse for longer (overnight) then the fruit gets a little too soggy for eating in my opinion, but the water will be more flavorful. A little give and take, here! You could possibly use them in a smoothie!
You are NOT annoying! I love your personality!

"A NOTE!! Kiwi is not actually a good choice for your infused water because they don't really infuse into the water at all".
- Alyssia Sheikh
UnderGround Mx Mine worked tho... I tasted the kiwi. I let it sit for 24 hours
Mind over matter:I've just made five different detox mixtures tonight. Cannot wait to drink them after sitting them overnight. Particularly the lemon/strawberry/mint.

How long do you need to let it sit and how long can it last in the fridge?
Hey guys! Thanks for all the hard work putting these videos together. Overnight oats for life. Anyhow my question was does adding fruit to water add sugar to the water? I would think so but if you have any more info on this id really appreciate it.

Hi, Michael! I'm so glad you enjoy the videos :) thank you!
Hi, sweet adorable Alyssia. Your infused waters look so crisp, clean, refreshing, and gorgeous. You would look so cute with curly hair. What did you enjoy about infused waters? Have a good day, sweet adorable Alyssia.
Please help me with the right perspectives
Lol, I hope I'm extra annoying for the people that think I'm annoying. Love it!!
Lol! Sometimes you've just got to embrace what others find as "flaws" 😜. Thank you!!
How long do you recommend leaving it in the fridge?
Let them sit in the fridge for a few hours, or overnight! :)
Oh yummy that looks so refreshing 😋😋😋👸🏽
BubblegumHijab
Wonderful :-D I loooooove them!
One Kitchen - A Thousand Ideas thank you!
Now I know how the water turns with its flavor it's setting it in the refrigerator over night
+Christina B. Yes sitting in the fridge overnight definitely helps!
I've drank a pint of lemon ginger detox w/1/2 cinnamon stick. Very strong flavor. What size jar you recommend for daily use?
The size of the jar will depend on the person! I have tried a lemon, ginger, cayenne shot - but I've never drank an entire pint! I can't make any recommendations for that specific drink, but for this video and other infused waters I've used 16 oz (one pint) mason jars. I have three one quart mason jars.
So for one person should I just stick with pint jars? I purchased the quart jars because I can drink from a bigger container, and it holds more stuff.
I enjoyed the strawberries, lemon and mint immensely. The orange, lemon, cucumber and mint is cool. Looking forward to trying the apple cinnamon.
oh so goodyyyyyy
:)
I like strawberry and mint
+The Swagger Sisters YES! Delicious combo!
Where can i find these jars? Thank you! Awesome as always!!
Amazon.
Which fruits are good for type 2 diabetes?
Does banana work it's my favorite fruit
Can you eat the fruit after you finish the water in the jar? or you shouldn't eat it?
I personally don't eat it because it gets soggy and unpleasant in my opinion but you could if you want :)
Flavor Flav!
Lol! Yes! Flavaaaa
How many times can the fruits be used for infusing the water? Or do you just throw them away after drinking the water?
I usually refill my bottle when it's about halfway, and do that 2-3 times. After that the flavor won't be as strong :) the PDF in the description has some other general tips that may help! 😊
Do you eat the fruit after?
Alice Shang you can! When it's sat for more than a few hours it can start to get soggy depending on the fruit so it's up to you :) Oranges and grapefruit are usually fine but softer fruits like strawberries aren't my favorite after they've sat.
do you drink the infused water with the fruit inside or can you pour out the water into a separate cup after leaving the fruit in it for a while?
You can do either! I would just pour out the fruit right before you're ready to drink it, otherwise you stop the flavors from infusing
I've tried lemon/lime infused water as well as cucumber/mint. Though, the cucumber/mint was a little odd, I think I'd used a cumber that wasn't really suited for that kind of application. It might have been an English cucumber. I can't remember.
+ExcalibursZone that sounds delicious!! I love the cucumber but we all have different tastes :)
There are different types of cucumbers I think I just chose one that wasn't too good for infusing :) Perhaps one that is more fragrant would be better.
Input sliced pears, cinnamon, mint, and sometimes I ,is in homey
Matthew Milarch oh yum!! great choices!
You could possibly use them in a smoothie!
so good
