Nah is not cost effective, the only way where level 0-1 necros can be used is in fallen Mode if you have way so low money and want to get somethig to defend the first fallens because the tombs of three level 0 necros can be enought to kill atleas 1/2 or abit more of the fallens but still way so rare, not to mention you need to place them one round or two before to get the tombs ready for fallens and in most of the time you Will have money to defend with something effective like g crooks minis accel engis etc that can happen maybe in quad games were two leaved and you are low of defence and money for wave 20 ( your teammate too) but that is way so rare , so that is almost not used at all and not effective because you literally need to play really uncordinated with your teammate and with low eco to really be viable using that
necro is so cool visually and fun to use imo. Also very engaging to use with the ability and the way that placement is very important. I just wish it had less rng; it's so dumb that sometimes it spawns 3 executioner skeletons and it's insane value while other times it spawns none at all and only a few hallow guards. I also think the placement limit should be upped to 4, feels kind of a waste to have it in your loadout since you can barely place any of them

This makes its so much better when paired with Accelerator! - However the 5 slot limitation means you'd rarely take it over commander and dj unless you bring golden cowboy and replace it with farm
Hi Corso. I think accel got a shadow buff, because (idk if u noticed) after overcharge the accel will actually attack the first enemy instead of the one he was attacking. This makes it much better and consistent. Please check it by yourself

On level 4…. Well… By the way, necromancer is good for maps like Badlands. I use it all the time for that mode. It can solo one path until wave 30. 7 max leveled gravestones can solo a tank as well. You’re severely underestimating it.

Has problem with targets? Every game of wasteland is 4 people placing 32 accelerators with commanders and medics. It is S tier alone but with supports best tower by far.

every hardcode tower is useful in some way, you just may have to use them differently and considering the fact that necromancer was a limited hardcore tower its still decent, and you also forgot mecha base because when hardcore was first released and sold for 5,000 gems
Its because it isn't really worth it to not spawn stuff just to wait for enemies to get on top of it and then finally using the ability. He does way less consistent damage and is a bit counterintuitive to use him this way if you placed him correctly.
Accel lock targetting system is already improved in the latest accel rebalance Once accel is charging, it may change the target that go cross over the last target
Corso stop saying disformation about necromancer's executioner skeleton, executioner skeleton ain't damaging 50 for 1 enemy, it has 0.1 ticking speed that means he doing splash 500 damage at 30 range, and with 4 second cooldown time it has 124+ dps
thats only if the enemy is in the range for the entire duration. The actual damage ends up being 150ish, but at max range it'd be 500. Currently though... no it doesn't do that.
From my personal experience, Necromancer is solid at earlier levels because of the graves and the attack is pretty good and max is extremely good and strong as each beam deals 20 damage which is basically like a accelerator but without the overheat mechanic and it can target 7 enemies which is insane so necro is very good so if your not patient enough to get accelerator
If you know how to use necro correctly, you can actually get infinite amount of skeletons. The cool-down for its ability is 5 seconds. Like mentioned earlier, it stops attacking for 4-5 seconds, which is just enough time for the ability to be used again. This same applies for the commander chain. Use the ability 1 at a time and boom! Infinite skeletons and high dps. You just gotta get over the part of maxing it out tho...
Basically... Between Cryomancer (I miss out every Christmas because I wasn't in TDS before) and Freezer, Brawler is the better staller... But she can be paired with Electroshockers and Cryos/Freezers for MAXIMUM STUNLOCK? I only wanted the Accel stuff so I can commit Ice Witch + Ranger + Launcher + Turret/Brawler combo. Crook Boss + Necromancer in the corner, plotting their comeback because Bases do their jobs better...
A way for me to buff the necromancer is for him to do splash damage ontop of the piercing damage to really encourage better placement in order to peirce enemies to get max damage since each enemy it hits also gets explosion damage, for max lvl, his attack stays the same, for his summoning ability, make the animation quicker in order for him to get back to attacking. Idk if this makes him broken, and maybe potentially get higher damage than a cell, but it's just imo.

I’m going to update brawler stats as this might not be true. COST TO BUY TOWER still costs 1,250gems to buy in the shop. COST TO PLACE DOWN it went from $450 -> $600. (can still be placed down on the first wave, if you get the +$100 perk from joining the paradoxum group) LEVEL STATS brawler can do the attack combo on level 2 and can still be knocked back level 4 brawler still has the reposition ability but has a shorter cooldown for the ability, and unfortunately it now only has lead instead of hidden and lead detection MAX PLACEMENT from 10 brawlers max placement -> to 6 max placement. MY PERSONAL RANKING ON THE TIER LIST honestly, its still really good, but it’s low S+ tier
I think only level 3 is bad, but yeah level 0-2 is actually not as bad as people think especially if you set the targeting to strongest. Level 3 is bad because it "upgraded" the max amount of graves. The max graves at level3 is 7 but he generates 3 each time, this makes it so that he needs to generate an extra time while only generating 1. I think it is better off if they "nerf" it from 7 to 6 and move that part of the upgrade to the max level from 7 to 8, i think it would actually make him better overall by not wasting so much time not attacking on level3.

I think they should have Necromancer at least three times and add ricochet for the main attack and the skeleton Knights and the Executioner skeleton if you don't understand what Ricochet is it is when a projectile bounces in between enemies
They should also reduce the cool down time for the attack and skeleton spawn add sugar increase the amount of graves that are spawned and increase the late game and early game in mid-game DBS
Necromancer would be good if they did 2 things. 1. Make it actually late game instead of half assed early game (increase prices and numbers dramatically) have its "pierce" get a homing function where it hits 1 target then bounces, if there aren't any others it retargets and hits them again. And for the love of god, make them summon graves faster and remove the damn skeleton limit (if you reuse graves it removes the original spawns, meaning you have to wait for the executioner you spawned to die.)
I would place the Brawler at the top of S+ because it is the first tower you would get and you can place 10 of them so you would get a lot of value with them. Plus, it only costs 25k to max it fully
If I’m gonna be honest, the grinding we need to do to get this engineer I think the acceleration is better as it’s slightly more DPS and also it’s way less grinding and more new place and get it

The most cracked skeleton that necromancer has is hollow knight. Like it deals 35 dmg every 0.6 seconds and you get like 4 of them every time you activate a max lvl grave which can shred enemies
I think I’m just gonna copy-paste what I said on a different video about accel, because holy shit, there are still people complaining Every single argument I've seen on post-rework accel can be summed up to 'this tower is too OP, NeRf iT!', but then the same people will complain when they do and say, 'It'S NoT tHe sAmE, BUFF IT!' And then they bring up balancing issues like it does something, the problem with balancing a game like this where you have to grind a considerable amount, is the fact that once you get the thing you're looking for, whether it be engi, a gold crate, or ranger if you haven't unlocked it, you'd want to feel satisfied with what you get. It's not like they can't nerf it, but it's the fact that if they do, the whole system can get thrown out of order since now there needs to be something to take it's place, engineer is not meant to fill accel's role, minigunners are only good in the largest volumes possible, and ranger is a high damage dealing, slow ass fire rate boss killer. They’re all useful in their own way because they’re used in different ways, and accelerator is meant to be the pinnacle of dps for this game, but if there’re people complaining about how this main dps tower is too strong, or ‘makes the game boring’… just use a different dps tower, it’s not like they don’t exist, but they’re not on same level as accelerator, is that it? 'But how about they just buff the other dps towers', and to what extent? A slight argument I have is that i think the brawler should be on top. I don't have engineer but i did use it on the classic event so I know how she works and well, how to use her properly. My main argument is the placement limit and cost. Sure, engineer is a really buffed up tower and has great support from the start in hardcore, but brawler literally STUN LOCKS enemies when lvl 4+. It may not be all true but come on, 10 maxed brawlers on I dunno, wave 31 in hardcore? Yeah they aren't leaking a single fallen rusher. They're gonna kill he one that came before the other get's into their range. Stupid argument, I know. It just feels better from the inside because of the stun itself.
Only way I see necromancer being viable if they do these buffs. Make the graves consistent spawning the same set of enemies each time with the stronger ones being the last graves created. Increase dps in earlier levels. Make the grave ability stackable. For some reason if skeletons are alive and you use it again the others will die. Just remove that. Make max graves spawn instantly instead of having to wait to get the good ones. Lowkey thas it I feel like it'd be hella good if they did atleast some of this.

Corso stop saying disformation about necromancer's executioner skeleton, executioner skeleton ain't damaging 50 for 1 enemy, it has 0.1 ticking speed that means he doing splash 500 damage at 30 range, and with 4 second cooldown time it has 124+ dps
thats only if the enemy is in the range for the entire duration. The actual damage ends up being 150ish, but at max range it'd be 500. Currently though... no it doesn't do that.

From my personal experience, Necromancer is solid at earlier levels because of the graves and the attack is pretty good and max is extremely good and strong as each beam deals 20 damage which is basically like a accelerator but without the overheat mechanic and it can target 7 enemies which is insane so necro is very good so if your not patient enough to get accelerator

If you know how to use necro correctly, you can actually get infinite amount of skeletons. The cool-down for its ability is 5 seconds. Like mentioned earlier, it stops attacking for 4-5 seconds, which is just enough time for the ability to be used again. This same applies for the commander chain. Use the ability 1 at a time and boom! Infinite skeletons and high dps. You just gotta get over the part of maxing it out tho...

A way for me to buff the necromancer is for him to do splash damage ontop of the piercing damage to really encourage better placement in order to peirce enemies to get max damage since each enemy it hits also gets explosion damage, for max lvl, his attack stays the same, for his summoning ability, make the animation quicker in order for him to get back to attacking. Idk if this makes him broken, and maybe potentially get higher damage than a cell, but it's just imo.
Brawler is actually great on polluted wastelands, and having 2 down set on strongest just makes it more op

level 4 brawler still has the reposition ability but has a shorter cooldown for the ability, and unfortunately it now only has lead instead of hidden and lead detection

I feel like levels 1-3 for necromancer misunderstood. Sure it needs some rebalances , yet it aint that bad. I use those levels before i max it out.
I think only level 3 is bad, but yeah level 0-2 is actually not as bad as people think especially if you set the targeting to strongest.
Level 3 is bad because it "upgraded" the max amount of graves.
The max graves at level3 is 7 but he generates 3 each time, this makes it so that he needs to generate an extra time while only generating 1.
I think it is better off if they "nerf" it from 7 to 6 and move that part of the upgrade to the max level from 7 to 8, i think it would actually make him better overall by not wasting so much time not attacking on level3.

I think they should have Necromancer at least three times and add ricochet for the main attack and the skeleton Knights and the Executioner skeleton if you don't understand what Ricochet is it is when a projectile bounces in between enemies
They should also reduce the cool down time for the attack and skeleton spawn add sugar increase the amount of graves that are spawned and increase the late game and early game in mid-game DBS

Necromancer would be good if they did 2 things. 1. Make it actually late game instead of half assed early game (increase prices and numbers dramatically) have its "pierce" get a homing function where it hits 1 target then bounces, if there aren't any others it retargets and hits them again.
And for the love of god, make them summon graves faster and remove the damn skeleton limit (if you reuse graves it removes the original spawns, meaning you have to wait for the executioner you spawned to die.)
As someone who purchased the Necro as a first gem tower, I have my regrets 😂
Corso made a small mistake, the executioner skeleton do 50 damage per tick (0.1) giving it 500 dps but it throws every 4 seconds so 125 dps
2:47 now costs 2250 (or the same price as accel) gems
I would place the Brawler at the top of S+ because it is the first tower you would get and you can place 10 of them so you would get a lot of value with them. Plus, it only costs 25k to max it fully
In my opinion necromancer is the most fun tower and engineer is the best tower
We can all agree that Engi is better than accel in a lot of aspects like DPS and versatility
another thing about the brawler is that the space it takes is noticeably smaller than most towers, making it even easier to spam them

If I’m gonna be honest, the grinding we need to do to get this engineer I think the acceleration is better as it’s slightly more DPS and also it’s way less grinding and more new place and get it

The most cracked skeleton that necromancer has is hollow knight. Like it deals 35 dmg every 0.6 seconds and you get like 4 of them every time you activate a max lvl grave which can shred enemies
They are all unique and cool towers. They also are good at what they do. Necro does deserve a massive buff tho

Every single argument I've seen on post-rework accel can be summed up to 'this tower is too OP, NeRf iT!', but then the same people will complain when they do and say, 'It'S NoT tHe sAmE, BUFF IT!' And then they bring up balancing issues like it does something, the problem with balancing a game like this where you have to grind a considerable amount, is the fact that once you get the thing you're looking for, whether it be engi, a gold crate, or ranger if you haven't unlocked it, you'd want to feel satisfied with what you get. It's not like they can't nerf it, but it's the fact that if they do, the whole system can get thrown out of order since now there needs to be something to take it's place, engineer is not meant to fill accel's role, minigunners are only good in the largest volumes possible, and ranger is a high damage dealing, slow ass fire rate boss killer. They’re all useful in their own way because they’re used in different ways, and accelerator is meant to be the pinnacle of dps for this game, but if there’re people complaining about how this main dps tower is too strong, or ‘makes the game boring’… just use a different dps tower, it’s not like they don’t exist, but they’re not on same level as accelerator, is that it?

I'm sure they're going to eventually buff the other towers, by doing things like buffing rangers damage, but nerfing it's fire rate by one second, or buffing minis damage, but even then, the argument will never go away. If you want a balanced game go complain somewhere else, there is no world where this game is balanced to your liking, it’s inevitable, doesn’t matter what game it is, balancing will be a problem because they have things meant to fill specific roles, there are few towers that can fill all roles, such as engi, and I swear to god if this whole ‘accelerator is too strong this swaps over to engi, that part of the community is a lost cause. Balancing will always be a problem, no matter what game it is, it's best to just leave accelerator's fate up to the devs, than to annoy them with this bs, because these ideas on how to ‘balance’ accelerator are just straight shit.

A slight argument I have is that i think the brawler should be on top. I don't have engineer but i did use it on the classic event so I know how she works and well, how to use her properly. My main argument is the placement limit and cost. Sure, engineer is a really buffed up tower and has great support from the start in hardcore, but brawler literally STUN LOCKS enemies when lvl 4+. It may not be all true but come on, 10 maxed brawlers on I dunno, wave 31 in hardcore? Yeah they aren't leaking a single fallen rusher. They're gonna kill he one that came before the other get's into their range. Stupid argument, I know. It just feels better from the inside because of the stun itself.

Only way I see necromancer being viable if they do these buffs. Make the graves consistent spawning the same set of enemies each time with the stronger ones being the last graves created. Increase dps in earlier levels. Make the grave ability stackable. For some reason if skeletons are alive and you use it again the others will die. Just remove that. Make max graves spawn instantly instead of having to wait to get the good ones. Lowkey thas it I feel like it'd be hella good if they did atleast some of this.
Necromancer deserves a buff or rework to make it worth 1,800 gems, the gameplay of this tower is really interesting.
Lvl 0-3 only need a buff. Max is balanced egnoth.
