- This is a 3.3L computer system rocking a 5700g and the RTX a2000 12GB. Ultra quiet, efficient, and packs quite a punch! This project took years to complete and was about to be scrapped, before the perfect storm made the final iteration all possible...

During a 450w+ GPU launch cycle your small efficient builds are more relevant than ever Josh. Absolutely gorgeous Erick!
Loved working with you on this gorgeous build, Josh! Thank you for the opportunity. Love the video! I miss working with my BESTIE in person! Love you, brother!
Can't wait to see the water cooled version! 😉 A80
AWSOME build? But what do you mean by upgradeable?? Absolutely nothing else will fit in this case and give you better FPS!💯 not yo mention everything is going BIGDOG after 2022 just looking at AMD 95c chips coming out. 🤯
@@X862go It's not a laptop board with soldered components. There are already some more half-height GPUs in the pipes, and a rumored A4000 half height. There are other STX boards out there as well with different chips I could have access to. I put alot of work into the case and the design so in a couple years I can replace the hardware but still have my beautiful (in my opinion) desktop PC. And Erick's version, which will be on the channel shortly, kicks up the performance significantly with even more hardware goodies. The design accommodates creativity and you can see that already with some of the builds in the Discord. I hope this makes sense, and thanks for commenting!
Why not tell him in person?
@@Sal3600 I have, but I wanted to express it on the video as well. Call me old fashioned, but I think it's great to publicly express gratitude as well.
This is the most beautifully saddest video I have ever watched. I'm stunned by how much the design and style speaks to me whilst knowing I will never have the ability or tools to build and create something like this.
Absolutely beautiful from every angle imaginable.
Be encouraged. We all start somewhere...you should see the garbage I started out making. My channel is also heavily geared toward teaching people where to start to make their own cases. I have many hours of videos showing people how to design a case with free software, and resources of how to get it cut and bent if you don't have the tools. Check out the playlists and Best of luck!
@@NotFromConcentrate thanks for sharing your journey. I too felt like he does and saying this from the third world
recently subscribed but am now working my way through everyone one of your videos. Phenomenal content.
Maybe build in a 10 or 13 litters case then move down whenever you're ready. Just make sure you can move the motherboard so get a stx board if you want to eventually move to the sky mini. 🙋♂️
💯
I don't usually like small form cause assembly is tricky, upgradeability is a nightmare and there are always restrictions but this one look damn amazing, like really a dream come true specially with those damn high end materials, it looks more like some kind of true audiophile media stuff of very high quality.
Thanks man I appreciate it.
micro atx is a good compromise. It's smaller than the standard form factor but with more expansion and room than mini itx. I think that's what I'm going to go for my next pc
@@HearMeLearn I really want Micro ATX to work--my first PCs I was building were all Micro ATX (you can see some examples on my website) but there are too many problems which make it a deal breaker. Firstly it is the most unpopular form factor, and the board selection is extremely limited, and usually regulated to "budget" boards with limited features. Secondly except for some very unique layouts (again see my website) it doesn't end up being more space efficient than ATX when it comes to FOOTPRINT; the most critical of size concerns. Thirdly, I'm hesitant to invest in a 200+ hour design or worst, a four year production case project because I am on the fence wether this form factor will survive. We have seen some years without any good Micro ATX boards and it would be sad to have a killer case made for it in a year where there are no options. I have one design I REALLY want to try but can't bring myself to invest in the risk. I wish it was more popular.
@@NotFromConcentrate I'm always for full size ATX but only cause I barely have money so I have to chose well something for the next decade upgrading only GPU...
I really wanted to do a nice performance small PC but it would suck pretty bad over time for me as the only main rig for many years so I really have to go all big full OC with maximum PCIe and Sata ports, I also always like using internal soundcard...
But I agree with you, both mini and micro at the end the build will probably be very similar when you factor GPU as the piece that will dictate the size of the case unless you go with very small crappier GPUs or just APU alone which sux...
Ps: but this build you made is hard not to fall in love with the piece of art that it is, and you really paid attention not only to the case but also improving the hardware cooling inside 🤤😮
Fantastic build brother!
Always a pleasure watching your work 🙏🏻
What a marvel of machining and design. You guys took it to the limit and the results speak for them selves!
"Damn, that's one tiny videocard. a2000, never heard of it, I wonder if it's like an inexpensive videocard for professional usONE THOUSAND BUCKS?!"
Great build btw, it ain't easy juggling components in such a compact space, people who don't build computers for a living can't really understand how bonkers your fitment is, it's suprising it can draw enough air. As much as I love huge, bulky full ATX chonker PCs, the PC space is moving toward sizes this small, you did an amazing job. An expensive one tho.
Must be the price peak, months back I saw it at $700 at the highest, Thats the A4000 price point now ($1k). A2000 can be had for ~$400 now which is pretty awesome for SFF
Amazing build and video as usual. Keep up the great work!
This is one of the best builds I've seen in years, phenomenal work.
Never has a 10 minute video convinced me to sub with such a degree of certainty.
Unbelievable stuff 👏
Amazing build. Looks beautiful and it performs too, Totally love it!
I wish I needed a new PC because of this build
I mean you could always take out your components and put them inside a new case lol
@@HearMeLearn not compatible
Who says you don't need a new build? Is it even possible to have enough computer?
I realize most of this is about the art..But...You can just plug a high end laptop into a monitor and change the power profile to stay on when the lid is close..Voila..tiny PC...
@@enntense yeah there's literally no point to do this besides the challenge...much rather have a mini itx build with good temps and a beast GPU/CPU
Flipping CLEAN! Good job!
My very first build was a Velka 3 and I fell in love with SFF builds. I am now looking for a reason to make a pc build in an S4T. I absolutely love this channel and cannot wait for more videos in the future. Great job Josh and Erick.
This is quite an amazing machine you have built, thanks for sharing it with us. Two thumbs up
Man, this was a satisfying build!
Amazing skills and great unity of form and function!!! Beautiful job!!!!
This is awesome project. I like the idea and final result. Well done 🙂
truly appreciate the time yall must of spent creating this little masterpiece beautifully designed congrats
Simply a work of art. Beaitful work, beatiful editing and sound. Beaitful voice. Thank you
Wow this was amazing. Great job 🔥🔥
this is gorgeous im in love, well made
Brother that looks so much better than any other small PC a have ever seen, commercial or otherwise, and it's completely custom-made, it's pretty amazing.
Another fantastic build from the NFC team 😊
gorgeous build, thank you
Amazing build!!! Love to see it
Man... It's like "mini-itx build threads" all over again but wayyyy cleaner.
This took me back 😊 subbed!
Oh my God! Real pice of art! Best SFF I ever seen!
This is exactly what I have been looking for, a powerful small form pc. I have thought about building my own but I just don't have the know-how. But this video... Might motivate me now.
this is not even a little bit beautiful... this is next lvl, this is absolutly amazing! love it!!!
You put so much work into this. Wow.
It may be tricky to clean. But then it's built for beauty and personal touch and indeed is looking great. Well done!
This is insane and I love it so much
Wow! Beautiful. Great video!
This is what I'm talking about! I am also in the process of doing something like this but I am currently in a pause due to budget and currently busy with work. Glad to hear there are new HD plex power supplies available.
Geez man, the attention to detail is amazing!
Well done Josh and Eric!
Beautiful work 🎉
THats a wild build ! well done looks great
just ordered mine after securing the GEM RTXA2000! They filled and shipped my order in crazy fast as well . I responded to the shipping email and an actual person responded 🤯,not a robot email service 👏👏! Absolutely class act 🧐
Beautiful build and craftsmanship! 😍
Dang, Josh (and Erick)! Inspirational. Still luvin' my OG DAN A4. I will definitely check out the a2000 and the new HDPlex PSUs...
Absolutely amazing build
Josh you are a gem in this SFF PC World. I have been following your videos for a very long time and ask same question to myself repeatedly that why dont you have enough subscribers? Love from India.
Thank you my friend, your comment is much appreciated. I don't have alot of views but I have subscribers of incredible quality!
What an incredible work of art. Beautiful.
This is immaculate. Kudos for completing my dream.
I’ve always considered your custom usff builds to be the perfect itx systems. However recently I saw a vertical prototype for the itx version of the turemetal case and completely fell in love. A minimalistic completely silent itx build with the fastest components possible in an industrial aesthetic. All black and silver. Just perfection.
Glad you found a case you are passionate about! This channel wouldn't exist if I had a case like that back in 2015 haha. Also check out HDPLEX's fanless cases they are really nice. Peace and thanks for commenting.
I think I’ve seen that too. But it looks like Turemetal hasn’t been making progress for some time now, so I’m afraid the prototype won’t really make it 🙁
Great work, man! I don't bother to build a mini ITX simply because it's HARD for me especially for cable management. But you took it to the next level, man...handcrafted everywhere.
Amazing project and presentation! 🤘⚡
Absolutely gorgeous build.
Nice brother very nice. I appreciate the engineer that went into this.
Good job @NFC erick 👍 aesthetic n elegant case
I freakin' love it. What a tiny monster. Also u have a new sub tho:) Keep goin'
Beautiful job guys!
love it simple and small and just piece of art
I wish I had friends like you that can build like this.. u guys are awesome
You guys are sooooooooooo good. National treasures in both talent and as humans. What an incredible build.
And you are a world wonder. Your photography inspires me.
Truly amazing job!
Superb! Awesome job there.
Seriously impressive.
This is extraordinary and eloquently designed. Huge applause.
This goes hard only wish to be able to hand craft and design something like this
Absolutely SPECTACULAR build.
Absolutely incredible build.
Been watching videos lately on mITX builds and stumbled on this video. Crazy how small of a build this is to pack so much in! It looks stunning, and I'm sure it looks amazing on display. I like how it easy it would be to take with you anywhere!
I think insetting the front wood panel so the case is flush with the front like the back, adding some fine mesh lining maybe to the inside of the case which would serve to protect from anything getting inside but also visually add to the look and using some countersunk flathead dark bronze screws on the face would tie everything together even more.
this is really amazing work.
Wow just amazing!!
watching people make beautiful things fills me with happiness. there's something magical about it.
Just what I need... Another rabbit hole to go down researching something I dont have time to build. (I do need a new PC and this really sparks my interest)
this looks impossible, good on you for putting such amazing effort into this
Work of art!
The case looks amazing
that random spray painting caught me offgaurd. what a madman! i would have just used a sketch pen :)
Very beautiful. Kudos to you sir.
Just discovered your channel. Really nice work! Subscribed.
I feel like I just watched a video I can meditate to. Chill vibes.
Amazing work guys! I can tell you had fun putting together this video. I’m glad I know so many people cooler than me. That way I can be cool by association.
Absolutely gorgeous!
The craftsmanship is incredible, really nice 👌
Also, I like the little A2000, such a niche card, it fits this build so perfectly.
That is one smexy build! I long for the days where we can cram this much power into a regular ITX build, without all the custom parts and hard to source super tiny PSU's.
Bro you can build a business out of it!!!
Wow! This is amazing!
What an artpiece of a machine. Deyyymnnn
I love your works
I think it will drop massively in price now that ETH is proof of stake. I saw some 12GB versions for 350 on ebay the other day!
@@NotFromConcentrate That's hella cheap!
I wish I had an Eric to do projects with me 🤣! Awesome computer, and spot on editing!
Ahh same, knew it's gonna be RTX A2000. Got mine too, built in an inwin chopin.
somehow youtube didn't give me a notification for this even though I have your channel set for "all", so I'm late :p
Fantastic build though!
I'm in the process of teaching myself power electronics with the goal of someday building a custom power supply for a dream sff build I've had in mind for a few years now
side note: that shroud on the cpu cooler had me *very* confused in the opening glamour shots XD Couldn't make heads or tails of which parts were what!
I've got a similar but smaller shroud I got from Jhack 3 or so years ago on top of a noctua l9a that is somehow managing to tame a 5950x in my sm4.
Had to make a few power tweaks of course, but the biggest impact adjustment was actually dropping the soc voltage. Didn't even have to drop ram or fabric speeds for it, seems quite happy to run 1800 fabric/3600 memory on a pair of 32gb gskill sticks with 1v flat.
Stock settings had it at about 1.2v, which pegged the poor thing in thermal throttling range just opening applications. Beat Saber would keep it at a steady 98-99c and at idle it would be high 70s to low 80s.
After the soc voltage drop, it idles in the mid 50s and never goes over 80 in my normal usage. Power consumption dropped by about 20 watts, which is just crazy to me.
What a lovely piece of love.
that is one professional looking little toy. Holy fuck. 10/10
Always in awe of the craftsmanship from you guys. Really inspiring! Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but why is the STX motherboard with M.2 to PCIe x16 preferred over an ITX motherboard for this build?
You can absolutely use an ITX/ThinITX board with an A2000. I just wanted something really "clean" and easy to install without tons of cables. With the STX board I can put the card right in the back and not use break out cables.
Gorgeous. Subed
That looks beautiful 😍
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Totally beautiful
this build is beautiful.
great and beautiful build, the video was in my subscriptions earlier but somehow is not there anymore.
Beautiful
nicee dude very impressive!!
That case is so tight you couldn't squeeze a fart in there. Truly impressive skills, BIG props to the materials master that machined it all out
this is unacceptably awesome.
Good job bro
