I have the same boat and in case you don’t want to run the battery cables to the center console you can just put the starting battery in one of the two rear compartments so you’ll only need a couple feet of 2ga wire. Under the console is where I installed my deep cycle battery for my lights. Also, it’s a pain sometimes to deal with the wiring in the console bc it’s a smaller boat. So I’ll usually unscrew the base of the console and just tilt it forward a bit. You can also remove that tackle box storage and get easy access to the inside of the console. Also, buy a wire snake and just leave it extended out inside the boat so any time u run wires all you won’t have to snake it through again bc it can be really tight in the gunnel. You don’t necessarily need to run the wires through the little tube in the gunnel, I’ve run most of mine over it bc it was easier. Enjoy it!
I’m actually in the middle of re flooring and rewiring on the same boats. Ripped everything out and started from scratch lol. Lots of UA-cam videos and research on how tos etc. nice little boat for sure. I use mine up in Narragansett Bay RI and have been in some nasty weather with it. Noticed the floor getting soft, took a test section out and the whole floor was cooked
Hey, I just purchased the same boat and starting the refurbishment journey. However, mine has an over the deck tank. I am wondering if there is still an inner tank that I could use. No clue why it was put out of service. You say in your video that it is under the console. But where exactly? I just see the space for the battery in your video
