Craft isn’t necessarily used everywhere though. For example in the UK it’s “cleared here, this departure, squawk 1234.” the altitude restrictions are part of the SID and it’s a handoff after departure
@@LewDixAviationdidn’t notice the reply for this but while true - love your videos btw! - was just saying that for educational reasons craft isn’t aways used
Impressive that you've maintained your accent. I'm a southerner now living in the Midlands,UK, and I definitely experience a few accent slips here or there. Great readback mate... Found the speaker a bit difficult to hear on a few words..
What a crafty way to organize your clearance notes 😂
I like how you’re transitioning into your new position… And using your skill set of speaking to tell a story. Keep up the good work.
Ah thanks so much
Keep posting! It’s really motivating me to become an airline pilot as well. Getting my instruments right now.
Sweet! Keep pushing 🙌🏻
Awesome to see you in the next chapter of your piloting career. All the absolute BEST!!!
thank you! I will be there soon hopefully
Your accent is really nice can’t lie

Definitely trying this next time
I want to do this for a living, but 1,397 more hours and a few more certifications stand in the way. 😅 Working on instrument rating now.
Farther than me lol. I have ~1450 hours to go & working on PPL now.
@@Epic_Aviationsame😭, which aircraft are you training on?
@@managed9348 172M & 172N
@Managed I'm actually about to start instrument training for my IR, pretty excited about that!
I have my Instrument Checkride on 10/17. Can we get an update?
Living just outside Pensacola, in the arrival path. I always wonder if it’s you flying over my head 😂
Same, I’m pretty close to Pensacola too
@@cave0770 He is no longer an airline pilot (by choice)
These videos were cool…✈️
Good ol gsp
Great airport. Always enjoyed flying in there.
Apparently another thing that follows us through our flying career is old timey carbon microphones

Well yea, but I don’t fly in the UK.
Do you not get a route clearance beyond just the departure procedure?
@@LewDixAviationdidn’t notice the reply for this but while true - love your videos btw! - was just saying that for educational reasons craft isn’t aways used
@@craigcrissman4651not really, it depends on the clearance but in the UK, things initial climb are usually on the SID so it’s kept pretty short
@@CamFlies 🙌🏻 thank you! Glad to hear it!

What do we use for descent/approach clearance?
Nice🎉
Nice!
Be safe!
I saw this (CRAFT) on tiktok.

The tower has a drunken operator on shift. Sounds like a Gin man to me.
Was this out of KSRQ?
Are you british? How did you get the working permit to the US? Love your movies
If there was only a method where people can migrate to the US 🤔
Porque se escucha el AUX cuando habla el capi y no solo el del atc
What airline do you fly for and what plane is that
Silver Wings. He has made a video on it a few weeks/months back.

Did you get US citizenship?
I wish they said read back correct in Australia. If it’s correct they say nothing here. Not very reassuring 😂
B73M?
It's an ATR
"What's with that funny way you speak, boy??....…I don't believe you're from around these parts.... are ya.boy???"
No I’m not my good fellow. Now be a good sport and lower your shotgun. There’s a nice chap.
Alright who ate shit off screen at the end of the video

Why you write it on a McDonald’s receipt?.
