omgg the joining both ends of the chain at the beginning is genius! i made one already but i just made a big rectangle and painstakingly slip stitched it together it was a mess… im gonna try this method!

did you increase or decrease at all? or was it all the same? also did you have to weave in an end every time you started a new color? and what kind of yarn do you use?
1. I never decrease or increase at all! I kept the same amount of stitches until the end! 2. For this one I used 2 colors, what I did was to pull through the new yarn color through the last double crochet of the row. After I finished working with that a yarn color, I'll just repeat the same exact thing at the end but now with the other yarn color. If you did it correctly you should have some yarn lining up on the inside of the hat! 3. I used yarn weight 4 :)
I've been trying to do this slip stitch for almost a year now and I still don't get it. I've been trying to make a beanie and it's not making any sense. And if it's a double crochet then why are we only doing 2 Chains rather than three
