If the S endings are all cannon then it was probably Nosramus who took the girl to her ascension, but ive heard several times it was Cahara who did. I guess we cant be sure, like you said it doesnt matter, they may be more clues on Termina (i haven't played termina a lot)... the lore of this series is soo interesting! I do hope we get a lot of answers and at least some sort of conclusion on F&H3 eventually. Good vids, cool channel.
No I don't think nosramus did it, ascension to him/her was not the way for humanity to evolve and he wasn't in good terms with the 4 new gods so I don't think he would have helped Nilvan live through her child(basically what she wants). Cahara is the only inconsequential character in the first game if d'arce resurrects le'garde, ragnavaldr is confirmed to have survived the dungeon becoming basically the doom slayer saving moonless in the process, and enki becomes a second nosramus and writes skin bibles. The only inconsequential one is cahara wherever he lives or dies it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things and would probably at least jump into the gauntlet looking for treasures and let's not forget he is the only one able to open the cage among the 4 from the start, he would probably save a child.
Cahara is the only one that canonically isn't known about at all in the world, legarde is the yellow king, enki the creator of the skin bibles, and rag as the slayer of all the worlds older monsters, Darce might still be known of through legardes exploits, so I do think he's right nashra finds grogorath and gets nuked, and nasramus brings the girl to the god of the depths to absorb the traces of grogorath and the god of the depths to become the ascended god. If it was any of the actual heros that did it, cahara is the best candidate, and darce a close second, cahara because of him probably stealing the eclipse talisman from a yellow mage and bringing it to nash, leading him and the girl to traces of grogorath, where grogorath nukes nash, and becomes absorbed by the girl along with the god of the depths.
Also, if we consider the characters backgrounds, only Cahara can be kind enough to save the girl, as he is in the dungeon to get money to save his own wife, Ragna and D'arce would rushed and not explored and find the girl's cage, while Enki wouldn't even care to help her since he is the most self serving out of the 4, only that seems more logical is Cahara as he'd scout the whole level and end finding it and has the skill to take her out
The thing about Cahara's S ending is just it is logically impossible to happens. A bidder bought the Crown in price that made Cahara become richer than any noble... The bidder need to be much richer than any noble, and willing to spend money more than any noble's whole wealth to buy a single crown from a random nobody... Could such filthy rich bidder realistically exist? Even king or sultan would most likely rob it rather than politely bought it from a random guy without any political power. Even lets say such filthy rich yet kindhearted person does exist to buy the crown, the coming Cruel Age still exist to mess with everybody including Cahara and his family.
The time line makes no sense if she's around 10. When exactly did Le'garde father her then? I guess since Nilvan's a God I shouldn't expect human constraints around the Girl's existence
@@worsethanjoerogan8061 Nilvan already meet Le'garde using her dream power for long before his imprisonment. Also we never really know how old the girl actually was.
Nilvan would've got with le'garde waaaaaaay earlier then when he was captured and taken to the dungeon. The girl is like 10 and they make pretty clear how much of a time limit le'garde is on when he's captured. Like d'arce went straight there after he got captured it would've took like a month at most
The idea that it didnt matter who it was that did put the girl there is an huge massive understatement because the girl's ideals was shaped by that person without it the "fear" and "hunger" wouldnt be an active nihilism as you put it not hope but despair another passive nihilism if you might say. I already did a comment on why cahara is the most fit to be one of the one persons (yes it could be nosramus, nasrah, and cahara like u think only one can take the girl in the gaunlet) to take the girl on your cahara analysis. Also my first point is proven by giving her the dagger and the teddy bear which cahar could get btw and her dialouge to the character makes more sense to cahara than with nasrah or nosramus especially the one way trip part nosramus would know that it is not have doubts but know that it is a one way trip not only that line but her whole dialouge inlines with every themes that cahara has which the theme for nosramus is enlightenment without divine intervention yes he could orchestrated with nilvan but ultimately cahara is the one who will give her the idea of fear and hunger and usher mercy usher active nihilism nosramus unlikely especially when u know miro likes to cannon events in his games like when and where they would be at in other character povs and nowhere is the girl away when not taking her and nowhere is she near nosramus. So thematically speaking, dialougely speaking, cannon evently speaking likeliest goes to a group not cahara cuz gauntlet is mad difficult but the likeliest person to be in that group is cahara
This comment is tribute to the god of algorithm. Still really enjoying this series, and I like the fresh take of Nosramus being a possible candidate for the gauntlet
I’ve been enjoying your content for a few weeks now, keep up the good work. I have a some questions about Enki and Nostrums. Their appearance is very similar, they are black and white respectively, they are both specified to be odd/strange. What if they are the alchemical concepts of Nigredo and Albedo, near perfect articial humans that need to be joined into Rubeido(red). Also Enki’s name is very close to Enkidu the artificial human that brought enlightenment to King Gilgamesh.
I'd honestly need to do more research on alchemy before I can comment tbh - which I am endeavoring to do for the Termina series! It's been a while since I've read Gilgamesh tbf, but if I recall he is also something of a wise wildman archetype, which oddly would fit Enki and Nosramus in a way. If I ever do a video on the games influences I'll probably go into more detail but that's admittedly a while away.
@@wdbeanie5392 one is ‘refined’ but wild and the other is ‘wild’ but wise, yes and i feel there is more paralels between them. Miro seems to be the type of nerd that would include such references :) I love how many things are referenced in Fear and hunger its like a pool of ambrosia
A new video for me, on a Monday no less? Why my cup do runneth over. Granted I do think your take on Cahara is uncharitable, dude does have that Dad turn to him after all, and a helpless girl and the pleas of a pregnant lady might just twig into that reason he's here in the first place. (And, like most people, I do think he's kinda the one most easily discounted from subsequent Termina lore, unlike the rest of the cast. D'arce might not have a solid place but there's a good few places where she fits too well.)
I think Nosramus is less hands off with everything - they are more of a viewer, a spectator. I don’t think they are involved in Nilvan’s plot. But it is an interesting idea!
Wouldnt it be funny if Funger 3 like go off the rails its story like Final Fantasy 8 did Though i guess it wouldnt be out of place comparatively speaking

What’s crueler than trading your sanity for a trinket and some gold?
Idk I assumed the church bought it from him. It’s like finding Jesus’s wine glass someone will kill for that therefore money making machine
Also, I can't we ignore that Cahara shares the Endless Soul with Nilvan.
Maybe he sold the crown and invested in Doge Coin, you don’t know…
@@dolando5837 "... will kill for ..." what prevent them from killing a thief like Cahara.
The child really is a mystery in this game. Being stuck in a cage and able to transform into a god

this is my biggest argument with the "nilvan fucked legarde in the dungeon" theory
@oyeatia3844 lol is there like something important to that theory or jsut that they fucked?
Unless the girl grew unnaturally fast which given the world of Funger is another possibility.
Always happy to see one of your videos! :D Keep up the good work.
Been waiting for this one! 🎉
I WISH Someone would make a novel or book about the lore and canonical story of Funger so many people need to know this story
It's cute how you use "Funger" for short 😊
I don't normally use this word but in this case I think it's apt to say that most 'normies' wouldn't appreciate Funger.
Every video is a BANGER! Hope you cover Termina next
That's the plan, hopefully some time within the next ten years lol

Nilvan tricked Legarde into creating the God of Fear and Hunger, after Darce resurrected Legarde via blood magic.
Awesome work, my dude. This channel is going to be huge. Calling it now.

Regarding the God of the Depths, I don't really get how a concept could be stuck in a dungeon.
Unless , it is the dungeon
