    hey guys! i wanted to note i didn’t wear these nails for more than a day so i can’t for sure say how long they wear. if they wear anything like the makartt polygel nails i did, they should last around 2-3 weeks!

    Great review, I don’t know what’s taking me so long to try poly gel. All I do is dip powders these days lol. I’ll try it very soon.

    Is the electric file definitely necessary for this type of nails? It looks like it kind of is. Nails look great. I love the natural-looking nails. Except mine just have to be short or it will be disastrous. lol

      hi! an electric file isn't absolutely necessary, however it does make the process easier and faster. thanks for the positive feedback on the nails!

    how did you remove these? do they soak off?

    • @katesnails
      @katesnails  Рік тому +1

      yes! i recommend filing majority of the product off, and then you can soak off the rest in pure acetone :)

    The next post you do can it be a healthy way to remove polygel nails without a peel off base ?? 🙏🏾

    • @katesnails
      @katesnails  4 роки тому

      hi! i'm not sure i will make a complete video on this process, but i would take these polygel nails off just like i would remove dip powder. so i would recommend checking out my dip powder removal playlist for all of my tips! in general, i would recommend filing majority of the polygel off and then soak the remainder off in acetone.

    • @niyah4604
      @niyah4604 4 роки тому

      Do I use like a cuticle pusher to take the remainder off? Because when I do that I take of layers of the nail on accident

    • @katesnails
      @katesnails  4 роки тому

      you can, otherwise you can use something more gentle line an orange wood stick. you can additionally take a buffing block and roll the soaked off product off of the nail plate by gently buffing the surface.

    How many sets do you get from a tube? I feel they don't last much

    • @katesnails
      @katesnails  4 роки тому

      at the length i had, i’d say you could get around 3-4 full manis per tube. it could be more or less depending on the amount of product used.

    what percentage acetone of alcohol for the dehydration on the nail prep?

    • @katesnails
      @katesnails  4 роки тому

      i am not quite sure what you mean by this, but i use pure acetone to dehydrate the nails.

    • @makaylabouchard
      @makaylabouchard 4 роки тому

      katesnails there’s some alcohol with 70% acetone, or even 30%, so i wasn’t sure what kind you used, but now i understand. thank you!!!

    Polygel removal? I've been wanting this set, but from what i've gathered, removing these is a nightmare.

    • @katesnails
      @katesnails  4 роки тому +2

      removal is slightly difficult. what i do is file off majority of the product and then soak off the very thin layer left behind.
