Very nice work. It's from a time when one purchased a packet of blades and it lasted forever because you just kept using the Radium to strop them sharp over and over. Interesting contrast with today, the age of disposable plastic razors. Thanks for the video, Mr. Fabrik.

For most of this video I thought that was a pencil sharpener - I couldn't figure out what the leather was for or why you selected an old razor blade - made a lot more sense at the end 🤣 Great video!!! 👍

Old trends are funny. There's a cocktail invented in the 20s called the 'Aviation' - because flying was a cool trend for the cool kids - that as you might guess has nothing to do with flying.
Well, you might 'fly' if you had a few.

I think that was a pretty good restoration. The razor could slice garlic but that doesn't mean it's sharp enough to shave with. I think it would work better with some stropping compound on the leather. Thanks for the video.

My age is not important anymore when I’ll confess that I remember that every kid in school had one of these pencil sharpeners on its own desk until the supply of pencils at school was greatly reduced because everyone had sharpened their pencil within two days! Exactly a year later we all received an inkwell with a dip pen on our desk. I don't know what cost more, the sharpened pencils or the stains in our clothes, floors and desks let alone what our body parts looked like?! Fingers, faces………..and so on❤😂 And nowadays? We elderly peoples have to ask our grandchildren how to switch on a bloody computer😂😂 Merci beaucoup my friend for sharing this video 🙏
