To everyone commenting, keep in mind this video is about who would win at the start of each game. Lone Wanderer just after leaving Vault 101, Courier after leaving Doc Mitchell's house, or the Sole Survivor after exiting Vault 111. Round 2 compare the 3 after the ending of their respective games. Also, there's a poll in the top right corner of the video at 0:23 if you want to see what others think.
Let me get this straight you think a courier who delivers packages and got toke by 2 raiders and got shot in the head would win against a military trained sole survivor bullshit
Like I said in the video, it's just my opinion, not a fact. Also, it wasn't just two run-of-the-mill raiders. It was two Great Khans and Benny. Great Khans are a lot tougher than most raiders.
Mitten Squad I understand but still he's a courier that delivers packages who got toke by two great khans easily and we also have no clue if he's even been in combat, in a fight 1 on 1 fight in a big open map how can you not pick a military trained sole survivor with war experience he hasn't been in the wasteland but he knows bombs dropped and caused this and he's trained to survive also didn't the courier lose some of his memory being shot in the head just my thoughts
Lone Wanderer: Why don't we just _calm down,_ this doesn't have to end in violence. (42%) Courier: Why don't you calm down? I've got experience in the wastes while you don't, vault boy! (Speech 98/100) Sole Survivor: I literally have military training and experience, you guys are _not_ going to be able to fight me. (Red speech check)
The courier: a hardened survivalist that has spent his whole life in the Wasteland The sole survivor: a trained soldier who thrives in a world that he pretty much just plopped into. The line wanderer: a kid.
Exactly, if they all fight at the same point in time then the LW would have 10+ years of experience (after his game, because they all basically become demigods when it their time to shine), it wouldn’t even be close
I'd still say Courier would Win. SS and LW needed an Army to Combat their Enemies, Big C is the Army, And depending on your choices, the only Big Nerf you'd have is a slow Clunky Robot Army fighting Both Legion and NCR.
The kid in question: Trained in a Pre war Military simulation, Was enslaved by the Strongest raider faction in fallout, fought Alongside the Brotherhood of steel against the Enclave, Overthrew an Alien Spaceship. Had a chunk of his brain removed. Received an extremely high dosage of Radiation
@@labledoutcast Actually that's not true. Canonically Courier is the strongest character in both beggining and end. He/she has the most experience of all protagonists. He\she spent his entire life wandering post apocayptic wasteland unlike all the vault dwellers.
@Patton Hoshaw Nope. Courier is courier 6, Ulysses himself calls the courier "Courier 6". Ulysses would have been Courier 6 but he turned the job down and let the protagonist become Courier 6.
I mean considering the mail man has roamed literally all of the West, knowing several languages, and having amazing skills needed to survive in the wasteland? Yeah
I love how the thumbnail makes the lone wanderer look like a heavy weapons expert, the courier look like a badass mercenary with nothing to lose, and the sole survivor look like a 3 year old on Halloween.

I look at it like the lone wander has a mother ship and the courier has a hologram/secrotron army and has big mt, the sole survivor only has a raider army or a militia so he def comes in last
Yeah but the sole survivor can too take out an army himself. With just a T-60 and a fully upgraded combat rifle he could take out the brotherhood of steel by himself without any help because I've done it before just at level 10 after stealing a t-60 suit and fully upgrading a combat rifle
And if you get help by the institute to take out the brotherhood of steel the synths really don't do much damage to the BOS soldiers the sole survivor is doing most of the fighting
So the sole survivor is technically an army himself too and has an army which could either be the brotherhood of steel, the institute, or the railroad.

@@deangeloellis729 how? Because they blitz the Mobile Base the Enclave used? It's a cool theory but there's no way; depending on either ending you choose. The Courier is probably the most hardened one out of all the other protagonist. They grew up in the wasteland, had a long career as a courier traveling all throughout the country, and I'd say has the strongest will as he went through being stripped of everything and forced to survive in the harshest of places in OWB and Dead Money
Not really. Most times in the wasteland, you’re going up against people with wildly different levels of training and skill, so surviving the wasteland as long as you have decent equipment and experience isn’t hard. Surviving airstrikes and tanks and stealth armor and snipers and fighting off 18 other guys with equally good training and equipment though? The courier is better than raiders who fight on instinct and with shitty weapons. The survivor knows 400 ways to kill someone in hand to hand combat and has 200x more experience with firearms and discipline in combat. The only thing the courier has him beat in is knowing what does what. The survivor wouldn’t know what plants are safe or what ghouls can do, but this isn’t a fight through the wasteland.

His first feat is surviving a shot to the head (which an average human has a 1/10 chance to survive) and was left in a shallow grave until he was dug up and brought to Doc Mitchell which probably took 10-20 mins.......needless to say that should have killed him. Along the way the player has a chance to get several implants increasing his S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats, along with a slight healing factor and one that increases skin density.....THEN he gets abducted by the Big MT scientists and has the heart, spine and brain removed and replaced with cybernetics (AND TESLA COILS!!!). After putting back the couriers missing organs there is some tech that still remains making the courier even stronger! Plus the implants from Big MT that even furthers his survival prowess. Now a few rapid fire facts: The couriers perk tree is geared towards survival, has learned several melee combat techniques, and has access to specialised ammo types (This would make power armour useless cause the courier would have access to armour piercing rounds), and has access to a ton of powerful weaponry. The Courier became a nigh invulnerable cyborg war machine with superhuman senses and strength when all was said and done.

Palsey J Courier 6 is special. They took on hell multiple times. They can take boomsticks head on - without power armor. It’s weird how all 3 characters had something to do with a brain at one point. Lone wanderer got a chunk of gray matter removed thanks to the ferryman, The courier got their whole brain removed, and the sole survivor entered a fragmented section of kelloggs memory through a piece of the hippocampus and institute witchcraft.
The courier wins automatically. I mean he now has a bio-mechanical body with the Big MT help. Survived killing the most dangerous wasteland creature ever (Cazadors). As well as, survived the deep radiated Divide and Sierra Madre. But Lone Wanderer has a mothership in the end so.........
The Sole Survivor is a soldier while the other 2 were not. Plus The SS is a pre-war person so healthier. Plus The SS took on The Institute, which is no small feat to achieve.
Jermaine Wilkerson yeah, but the SS hasn't been exposed to the wasteland, he has been in a controlled area (same as the lone wanderer) where as the courier grew up in the wasteland living in a poisoned enviroment so he develops a better inmune system. For example, babies and todlers get sick easily because their inmune system hasn't developed defenses against the illnesses and enviroment that they live on. It also applies to why people from 1st world countries get sick more often of the stomach when they go to 3rd world countries.
The courier= human atom bomb He single handedly took down one(or two) militaries. Also, he survived a gunshot to the head. Plus New Vegas easily had the hardest creatures ( Cazadors and Deathclaws) i know other fallout games had deathclaws, but they were harder to kill in New Vegas.
My money is on the soul survivor (Male) because: He is trained in weapons and combat, which is all fresh in his mind, while The Courier was just shot in the head, therefore he is at a surefire advantage
Vert343 consider the fact that the Courier had to survive traveling throughout the Wasteland with little to no help from others because of his job, and he both set up and destroyed the Divide BEFORE the game started. After a certain point your body remembers how to fight for you, and I’m sure the Courier got in huge fights before the game even started (taking into account he got sniped and lived).
Are they harder to kill or is the courier weaker... the core mechanics of the game do not dictate the lore, just because something is strong in one game and weaker in another does that mean that each variation is different.
The courier got shot in the head and walked it off. The Sole Survivor watched his wife die, and then became a murder-hobo. The Lone Wanderer is just a dude who's never even felt a titty. I think it's pretty obvious who would win...
he didn't walk it off he almost died and got brought back to life with some robotic thing someone else said but robot movement cant quite mimic the original body parts which you'd realise by looking at a fallout robot that walks and has arms. unless you're talking about later but thats not aplicable in this argument.
Ye he got shot in the head and just about lived mean as the other to have not been shot in the head or allmost died Why doing something i take one of the other 2 because the i just got shot in the head and lived just means to me you were stupid and got shot in the head
Is you talk to mysterious stranger's son the player will say he impregnated a woman 18 year ago if you say the right dialogue he even say it in the video
you obviously didn't watch the game theorist video, that just about anyone can survive that, a 9mm hand gun does not have this ridiculous amount of stopping power. if shot in the gut it would have been game over, but from the distance the courier was shot, and the type of handgun, it wasn't a life threatening injury.
What people seem to be ignoring is although the lone wanderer wasn’t trained in combat or moulded by the wastes, he was forced to adapt from ‘security’ to the hostile world that faced him alone. That intense transition either makes or breaks you and he was able to withstand a pretty tough and scary environment solely through improvisation and grit. Who can say who’d win too many variables, but I’m backing the underdog.
What everyone also forgets is just how much talent the LW has, he can handle any gun with ease(even clear out jams) keep a cool head when fighting monsters(super mutants, death claws, ghouls etc) and fights extremely hard for what he believes in
The Sole Survivor was also a part of the battalion you can find in the mother ship zeta dlc in fallout 3, but he was not abducted with the part of his crew that was.
@@LetiTFly47 Not necessarily. A battalion, which is the type of command unit that the male Sole Survivor shared with the crew from Mothership Zeta, is very large, specifically, at least according to google, 300 to 800 soldiers.

Unfortunately the Courier is the most OP Fallout protagonist at the end of his game....if he can even be considered human at that point.

Sole survivor: Literally a 200 years old, a wartime hero veteran of the war, highly trained soldier, survived the institute, brotherhood of steel, railroad and even a radioactive sea, far harbour and all sort of giant creatures.
Courier: survived a bullet in the head, resurrected and killed the one that shot him, did a bastard move by nut and run a girl in Montana, he went buy the ciggies and never returned, outsmarted his own brain with no brain, survived the Divide, stopped a new nuclear apocalypse, survived a casino of death, a tribe of crazy people, a wanna be nation, a super billionaire named mister house and wanna be Roman Empire.

And dont forget that the Courier got shot in the head
The courier wins automatically. I mean he now has a bio-mechanical body with the Big MT help. Survived killing the most dangerous wasteland creature ever (Cazadors). As well as, survived the deep radiated Divide and Sierra Madre.
But Lone Wanderer has a mothership in the end so.........
Joshwist55 the courier has the missiles from the divide too
but we're not talking end game achievements or weapons
The Sole Survivor is a soldier while the other 2 were not. Plus The SS is a pre-war person so healthier. Plus The SS took on The Institute, which is no small feat to achieve.
Jermaine Wilkerson but we dont know the couriers background before he was a courier. He could have been a mercenary before.
The courier= human atom bomb
He single handedly took down one(or two) militaries. Also, he survived a gunshot to the head. Plus New Vegas easily had the hardest creatures ( Cazadors and Deathclaws) i know other fallout games had deathclaws, but they were harder to kill in New Vegas.
Jose Garcia this battle takes place when they are all level 1 in other words, before their stories have even started yet.
My money is on the soul survivor (Male) because:
He is trained in weapons and combat, which is all fresh in his mind, while The Courier was just shot in the head, therefore he is at a surefire advantage
try playing both games on max difficulty fallout 4 has the harder deathclaws
“Never even felt a titty”... This comment has my full approval 👍🏻😂
What everyone also forgets is just how much talent the LW has, he can handle any gun with ease(even clear out jams) keep a cool head when fighting monsters(super mutants, death claws, ghouls etc) and fights extremely hard for what he believes in
You can back him all you want he still isn't anywhere near the courier or lone survivor
