Had a dead lock installed and the thieves busted the lock and toke all my tools leaving me with £2500 damaged door and £4000 on tools . Note I paid £300 for the lock , so add to the total !!!!
That’s unfortunate I’m sorry to hear, but these don’t make them invisible just makes it harder. I have one too with dead lock, I keep all my tools in my garage which has plenty of security not to mention I live in a safer area and my van is on the road in view of many houses and a main road. I’d advise something similar if possible.
My van was broken in few weeks ago ford transit van 2011. They removed passenger side window not the door window easily. They open glove compartment and inside the fused box and then removed fused box down and I noticed 2 sliding device which disconnected battery power. This looks secret places that no body knew it was there nor mechanical person know. Why was the manufacturers do that? Thieves know about where this operate and I was very surprised. How to do we protect from that?
Unfortunately I'm locked out of my 2010 mk7 transit van which is in deadlock with the remote central locking. The key manual lock doesn't work so how do I get into my van?
@@CarkeyssolutionsUk Oh man, I emailed them, apparently they are not shipping to the USA at this point in time. He said they may resume shipped to the US in the Fall.
Very helpful. When will ford learn and do something about its poor security

So how much would it cost to supply and fit all of the locks you've described in the video and how long would it take?
oh and where are you?

How did you end up getting in?
@@StewartsRootBeer a locksmith got in by somehow plugging some computer into something under the bonnet and got in
Yea add expensive locks and thieves will enter through a hole they will cut in roof
I mean yeah, but that will make quite a lot of noise and at least they can’t quickly pop the door with a screw driver
They could hog tie your van too and rip it to shreds lol, but hopefully by then someone will see and say "What the hell is going on here?!!"
Security and transit now that's an oxymoron for you
What specific brand of deadlock do you recommend? I have a 2021 Nissan NV200.
We work successfully with locks4vans
