Another very watchable video Sol. Everyone has their fave Blue Note releases and Duke Pearson The Phantom and Grant Green “ Idle Moments “ are gems.,Kevin Gray remastered these I’m on also. ( does the man ever sleep.).I was hoping for a couple of the early Tone Poets by Kenny Burrell or The 3 Sounds Blue Note releases from the 4 thousand series , they’re not universally loved by the jazz hipster set but they put out some lovely records. The Tina Brooks and Mobley’s Workout are the ones I’d plump for from the selection showed. Prestige next ? Red Garland my go to guy.
