I tried the P11 after having a Apple IPad 8th generation tablet for yrs...an found speakers, not loud but loved everything else... than all my Google play store apps wouldn't open at all so I returned it... now bought this one and I hope it's better!
Hello TechSnacker! I've got the Lenovo p11 Plus Tablet, and I'm impressed with it! My first Lenovo Tablet was 7 years ago with the Tab 2 10-70 F. For a 10 inch screen, 1920x1200 resolution, and dual Dolby Atmos speakers, and Androids 4.4-6, it lasted me until September 2020, nearly 3 years ago. Lenovo have made some great strides the past few years, so I decided to return to Lenovo with the P11 Plus. The only Con is it should've STARTED out with Android 12 or 12L, but aside from that, it's running Android 12, and I'm sure Android 13 is still considered since I got Android 6 from the First Lenovo tablet 3 1/2 years ago. I enjoyed this review and despite those Cons, it should be worth buying in 2023, or consider getting the P11 Pro Gen 2 if you want an edge up, like the new OLED screen among other great features. Either way, Lenovo is NO Samsung, but don't overlook them, hopefully they'll continue the winning trend of smart and exciting tech for everyone....that's their motto isn't it? Close enough.
@@shifaghazi7173 The storage is great, however, it runs on Android 12, and 13's a little bit of a longshot. But it is still supported, as in the lifespan of 12 and the security updates until October / November of 2024. That's because when Android 14 is released later on this year, 11's lifespan will be over, and in one plus year's time, 15 debuts, and 12 will be finished. I would recommend you get the Lenovo P11 Pro Gen 2, just to be safe ( money wise ). It's an 11.2 inch screen, OLED, and has Dolby Vision and Atmos, AND 2.5K resolution. Don't even THINK ABOUT getting a Samsung Galaxy S9 FE or a S7 FE,, if under $500 is your ideal price point, then that's your tablet. I might get a Second Lenovo Tablet once the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite ( 2020 Variant ) time is up... I still have it though. The only bad thing I agree with you on is not being able to use the tablet on a type c hub for viewing on other screens. The Face recognition feature works fine on mine I was never a fan of the audio jack lol I prefer wireless Bluetooth earbuds I've been using them since they first came out as we get more into the future audio Jack's are a thing of the past newer electronic devices will not have / support that option anymore. And eBay has a very good selection on cases for this tablet
After a long search and an frustrating experience with the galaxy tab a8 (still can’t believe that it is so expensive with 180€ in the moment) I can now say, the p11 plus is the best android budget tablet you could still buy… Get my a month ago for just 230€ with 4gb RAM and 128gb storage (wich i ironicly pay for my a8 3gb RAM 32gb Storage too at the beginning of 2022) and in this pricerange you can’t get anything better on the android side… It performs very well on daily tasks and even for gaming it’s quit nice… Don’t find any game so fare wich will not run, sure, the big Titels like Genshin impact or Diablo immortal just go to low or mid settings but it’s playable without any issue (something I can’t say about the Samsung)… So for this money you get a lot of tablet and more as any other android company offers in the moment…

Mine has Android 12. I seen a few options for cases on Ebay. I got a Fintie case for mine. I also have a Lenovo Tab M10 and it got the same case for it. Headphone jack is big thing for me. Never use headphones anyways. Even though the M10 is a 2023 model...this P11 is a better tablet. I use it alot more then the M10.

Any Bluetooth keyboard should work fine, so that's no big deal, especially since for me a third party keyboard is probably better. This still looks like the best Android tablet as far as price/performance is concerned in mid 2022. All the best.
Since the last couple of phones I've had don't have a 3.5mm jack I've got more than one adapter to USB C for that. At first it bugged me but now I use almost exclusively bluetooth headphones anyways. Being without a connector always sucks. I'm looking at you MacBooks. LOL
I bought and compared the m10 3rd gen and the p11 plus. Believe it or not, the m10 3rd gen had a crisp, clean display whereas the p11 plus felt pixelated. Better performance with the p11 plus though. Sigh.
Mine has A12 update and it's perfect for video playback (up to 1440p60 HDR UA-cam) It supports USB analog audio out. Since it's 2.0, TV out is not supported You can use Wacom Bamboo Ink Plus pen even it's not perfect. P11 accessories can be used
An other things it doesn't mention in the notice, the P11 Plus doesn't have compas... the p11plus have GPS but not compas...It's dumb for me because I've bought the p11plus to use for my work when I need GPS, COMPASS and SPEEDMETER when I'm on OP.
It doesn't seem 1.6 aspect ratio like xiaomi pad 5. Why? In this tab 2000 X 1200 & Xiaomi one 1600 x 2560. So, as per theory both have aspect ratio 1.6
After watching different reviews on this tablet some say its a plastic chassis, some say aluminum and some say a hybrid of both. Can anyone confirm which it is?
chromebook has worse hardware but chromeos which gets longer upadates but the p11 plus (i wouldnt buy the normal p11 it is slower and worse) is faster in terms of hardware. for the hardware reason i choose the p11 plus.
@@borg386 The connector Type C of the p11 plus doesn't support external screen...but you can use external screen with extension to using something like miracast or Android TV... but doesn't support external monitor when you directly connect screen with USB C port ...prefer to bought the P11PRO or Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro...it's my advice.
Hi there. I purchased the p11 plus 128gb about two months ago and I love the tablet. However after the android 12 update was released the tablet now has some Bluetooth issues. When a Bluetooth device is connected, the tablet will randomly disconnect and reconnect on its own(and it does this multiple times a day). This is quite frustrating because if I'm watching a movie or listening to music my headset would disconnect. Upon doing some research I discovered that a lot of users have been dealing with this issue since the android 12 update. Does anyone know how we can resolve this?
Noticed my p11 plus has 4 charging pot port in the bottom for a charging station, but can't seem to find them for sale in the UK nothing on Amazon or eBay really seems strange to have them if you can't buy the charging station for the bloody thing...!!!

Battery life is good for all day use. The screen on the P11+ is better, 2k vs 1080p for the A7. It's usually a good idea to update your device regularly for security updates and functionality, etc
Galaxy Tab A7 and A8 have the worst displays I've ever seen. A7 I bought and had to return to the store two hours later. Nightmarish color reproduction, terrible viewing angles ...

the screen is much better on the lenovo, it is fully laminated and bigger despite the device being almost identical in size. the ipad has longer updates and a more powerful cpu but no quad speakers and no usb c.
Great video ... found your review very accurate and fair !! Confirms my thoughts on the tablet which I've only had for a week !! I love this screen ... as for audio I use bluetooth ... and if I really want better sound I use a usb c dongle DAC (THX in my case) ... and it really works well .. not high res but still great sound. Finding a case is tricky as you said ... mine should arrive soon. Truly a great and convenient media consumption device. Tx for your review. Keep up the great work!
Spend the extra $50 and get the iPad, Lenovo is notorious for lack of updates, support is below average, I returned mine after 2 days and they charged me a restocking fee. What a joke, not even Apple charges a return fee.
Its just Samsungs shitty pentile matrix wich is used for the display, the ips on the p11 plus is way better even when the contrast is better on an oled screen but cheap oled screen (nearly every tablet with oled has a cheap one) are not worth buying, to many downsides next to an good ips wich nearly cost the same…

factory reset. mine didnt detect the magnetic cover being closed. factory reset fixed that.

Let's face it. Most people buy a tab like this to consume Netflix and such. And iPads are bad at that. A lot of wasted screen space.

Lenovo should be fined for its lack of support for its tablets . They all end up as landfill far earlier than they should.
