Despite having been around for a good year and a half, the LENOVO Tab P11 is still one of the best Android budget tablets one can get their hands on. This budget tablet by Lenovo is by no means one that will blow you away with its raw performance, but instead, it will blow you away by the fact that it offers fantastic value. In fact, if you are able to get your hands on the Lenovo Tab P11 at the same $240 deal I got mine in, I'd say go for it because that is a once in a lifetime type of deal. In this video I go over some of my favorite features about this tablet, and also my least favorite features about it; you should definitely pay attention to these top features if you happen to be in the market for this tablet.

Yes!! No one is talking about this one enough yet, thanks for the great feature drop. I would have never known about the precision pen compat without you sir! It's a bummer that you have to buy the keyboard separate, but 240$ isn't bad if the tablet performs well!
Great video!! In wacom bamboo paper for example, activating palm rejection, is it still a problem?
I'd like to see a pen jitter test on tablets with pens. This is just simply drawing a diagonal line first fast, then very slow. Sometimes even laying down a ruler to show it's something inherent to the device and not your hand. Poor quality pens will wobble at slow speeds. Lenovo, like Microsoft, is well known for being decent note taking tablets but horrendous art tablets. As an artist I can say we don't like it when our devices make our line art worse. That's why I stick with tablets that use Wacom's EMR tech, like the Tab S series from Samsung.
Good video. It touched on the tablets strengths nicely. If all you are looking for is a basic day to day tablet at a decent price, this clearly is a winner.
Thanks to you, I'm planning to do a video for my channel comparing S6 Lite with this (but in Spanish) and I think, two of the things I dislike most are: the lack of 4k video (the videos I export, in 4k, this tablet is SOOO laggy) and the second thing is the poor user experience with the buttons on the Precision Pen. You mentioned the experience and I totally agree with the palm rejection and everything you mentioned but, this pen has two practically useless buttons. Even the S6 Lite's pen has one button is WAY MORE USEFUL than this. Great video and sorry for stealing the idea of the video LOL
android 12 fixed the button issues. now both buttons are useful.
Lenovo is notorious for lack up upgrades on their Android devices. It's the reason I always wait for a great sale before buying one, and I use them only for media consumption. Battery life is usually outstanding so I can easily binge watch to my heart's content! I drift away from the brand if I'm planning to actually be productive though, which is why I wandered into Chrome. My HP X360 will be "traded in" for a newer Chromebook laptop, as soon as my neighbor returns it to me! :)

Ivan, you are 100% right. The jack is important to a lot of people.
The only real issue I ran into was audio on Zoom.
It didn't work properly. After a lot of messing around, it turned out that when Zoom was running, it couldn't hear the audio (the mic worked) because Dolby Atmos was enabled! Once I disabled that, Zoom was happy.
I only mention that in case others run into this issue.

This is a complaint that many are hitting Lenovo with.
It's the stupidest thing. You press Shift or Caps (maybe numlock too) and the little flag comes up to show what mode you are in, as many systems do,
BUT
it BLOCKS TYPING until it goes away.
IT'S FREAK'N STUPID!
I'm hoping that Lenovo fixes this thing.
I really don't want to return it to buy something else, because I really like it otherwise.
The picture is so good, very crisp, videos run smoothly and the keyboard is a life saver.
The other issue is that some apps that work fine on ALL MY OTHER android devices, won't even install! On Google Play, it says that it's not compatible or something. NO reason, nothing.

My navigation setting is grayed out. I was on gesture then it's stuck on 3 button.

with the p11 i experienced serious Wifi problems, can't keep connection, expect the gps location for keeping connection but still cannot keep it, impossible to use it, tested it with different routers at different locations, this is rendering it as almost useless
The problem with Lenovo tablets is they are completely ignored for updates by Lenovo, all they seem to care about is pushing gear out the door. Sure you can get a deal but it’s obsolete the day you unwrap it, if you have a big software issue with it you are stuck with it. Kept mine 24 hours and sent it back (thanks Lenovo for the restocking fee for a tablet with issues YOU created forcing me to return it.) 🤬
If you have no interest in security and patches then the hardwares solid but I found the lag with simple tasks like UA-cam or web browsing hard to ignore, I’m surprised these get such good reviews, look elsewhere and pay a little more to get software support, it’s important Lenovo 🤦♂️
Thus tablet is an amazing budget tablet with incredible battery life all the way up until you realize it is 4k Dolby Atmos capable. . . And then it is the most incredible budget tablet in the world with absolutely terrible battery life while consuming 4k video with Dolby Atmos audio lmao.
But it's actually a very low budget premium tablet in disguise as a budget tablet with tons of features.
I just want one for media consumption. Is the OLED really good for videos and netflix?

I just bought a Tab P11 2nd Gen yesterday and it's Android 12.
But there was an update to Android 13
I regret getting this Tablet, my iPad Air 2 peforms better than this bad software anf has no updates at all. I wanted to play a simple game like NBA 2K Mobile and it cant even go past the loading screen and is so laggy and not responsive!!!! 🤬😡😤
