I sure do miss the 80’s and 90’s when my husband went to the country bar every week and danced our hearts out. Now we are in our 70’s and do our dancing on summer nights on the back deck.

There used to be a country music dance club in Manhattan called Denim & Diamonds that i went to in the 80's, don't know if it's still there but it was a cool place!

How do you manage starting on different feet?
Good question. The sways at the beginning get our bodies and feet synchronized. Then we stay in rhythm for the dance 🕺💃

There’s no song that has this rhythm. As a newbie this makes it really difficult to do this step and I just end up saying f it and I do whatever I want getting on all my partners nerves lol
