I'm a sucker for this particular scene. The music and dancing is wonderful. When you watch a scene and suddenly feel the urge to listen to music you don't normally listen or dance the way you normally don't dance, that is a great scene.

This is a great, exciting scene, and shows that country line dancing can be elevated to a higher level. During the last 20 years that I’m doing line dancing, I never saw something like this. I feel impressed by the enthusiasm by the young dancers, the clapping , the footwork and such to good country rock music.(“Fake I.D.” by Big and Rich, featuring Gretchen Wilson).

I moved from Texas to Massachusetts and this is making me miss line dancing in the honky-tonks so much! I went only a few times a year when I was back home, and now I wish I had gone all the time
It's funny for those who criticize the fantasy of this many dancers being in sync...clearly you've never been to a country bar or honky tonk on the weekends. Obviously you'll have a few people who aren't very good, but majority of the dance floor is always filled with regulars who dance in very good sync with one another. Line dancing (4 wall dancing) is super easy to learn, and yes majority of us wear western boots (even us city boys lol)

I first seen something like this at the Thorny Rose outside of Denver CO, man blew my mind seeing about 50 cowboys & cowgirls doing the cupid shuffle & not missing a beat!!
The thing I always hated is that in both movies, there is a clear "authoritarian villain", and it isn't Rev. Shaw Moore. it is Councilman Cranston, Chuck's father. that is one thing I like about the remake.. it makes it much clearer that Moore's pain at the loss of his son was used as an excuse... while Cranston allowed his own son to have a cottage industry on "bootleg" stuff.

In all honesty it's not so much learning, it's just going along with everyone else and feeling the flow of the music

I like how Willard didn't get upset when his friend was dancing with his girl he could tell it was just dancing

Quite refreshing to see, to be honest.
