What I like is that it looks like a regular man and not a professional dancer. Never saw a pro dancer with a gut, but I have to say I like it. That is one big old hunk of man.
@@walkerx1813 Orthodox two step is nothing like this, in fact they didn't short short long long the whole time. In barstep you mix both -- that's what they were doing, & most of their moves were country swing.
I've danced C2S at the Div. 3 level and I cannot tell you the work that goes into competing at this level. A couple of comments: Does 2 step borrow from other dances including West Coast, East Coast, Hustle, Somba? Heck yes it does! Competition is about winning and if another dance has moves that fit rhythmically either natural or syncopated, throw it in there! For some who are not aware, Country 2 step is 6 steps in 8 beats of music which makes it off phrase smooth dance. The last beat of the QQ&SS& makes it a staccato dance as you're holding the last beat. I'm not a judge, so I won't judge them although many are quick to do so.
This is not Master's Level dancing! The routine is basically a lot of lifts and drops, no progressive movement down the floor. The men's footwork is terrible. The routine used is probably to focus on the female partner, to hide the fact that the male lacks footwork and dance technique. Not a good representative of Masters Level dancing in UCWDC.
I If your teacher she is a great dancer. why does she have problems in this routine executing simple spins and one of the lifts. The male partners footwork is terrible and looks amateurish. Posture for both needs improvement and especially for someone who has ballroom training. Nor impressed!
73 years old now and this was our favorite way back, RIP my Wayne
Wow! Emily has awesome footwork! Congrats to both of you on a fantastic performance.
The best ive ever seen!!!

Эмили браво !
How is that a two step LOL?
Exactly. A country 2 step which is what the subtitle said is not what they are doing. It looks more like ice dancing and choreographed stage.
@@KarenInTxit was country swing really
@@thernius5786swing is a slot dance, this is a progressive dance

Normal people don't do the 2 step like this. Her legs would be knocking out other dancers!
Impressive but this looks like halfstepping not 2 stepping
Not a two step
When I watch all these so-called world champion 2 steppers. How come nobody seems to have any rhythm to the music there dancing to.🤔🤔🤔
Music is not a good two step.
This is rap country dancing.
