In 2001, during the celebration of the 10th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence in the wake of the Soviet Union's dissolution, a double round robin chess tournament was held in the capital city of Astana. Six of the world's best players, including the world champion, participated in the category XX event. The participants were (in order of ELO): Garry Kasparov (2835), Vladimir Kramnik (2797), Alexander Morozevich (2749), Alexey Shirov (2722), Boris Gelfand (2712) and Kazakhstan's number one player Darmen Sadvakhasov (2585). Kasparov made it nine tournament wins in a row on his streak to ten with his undefeated victory here, in sole first place with 7/10.

Note on axis Vs allies:
They're not just good Vs bad. They're also axis of evil Vs allies of evil.

We may disagree on who the good Vs bad guys are, but I think we'll agree on axis Vs allies.
Axis of Evil is like tax collector, the more conventional, obvious or well-known evil.

Note re Vlad:
I view Vlad's accusation of Hans similar to Bobby's accusation of Anatoly Karpov & Wesley's wanting Sergey to not be in the 2022 candidates - it's a good guy fighting another good guy. The real bad guy in each respective case is Magnus, Garry & Magnus again. Tsk tsk. It's sad Vlad/Bobby/Wesley didn't realise that Magnus/Garry/Magnus is far more evil than Hans/Anatoly/Hans. Wait, I think Bobby did. Not sure. I think Bobby hated Garry more than Anatoly, but maybe not by much more.

I assume you mean me. Hikaru is a fake WC (rapid WFRCC not classical WFRCC. Magnus Hikaru & FIDE conspired to cheat Wesley So. And even Nepo Fabi & Vidit.) just as Magnus & Garry are fake WCs too (they are cheaters specifically in WCCs. Magnus cheated Nepo 2021, Alireza 2019 & Alexandra Kosteniuk 2009. harry cheated Vishy 1995).

Fischer said about women chess, that he could give a knight odds for any woman player. For that answered someone this famous quote.

13:01 Why not take the pawn on b3?
Because then h6+ defended by the knight, king has to move to stay in contact with the pawn. But both moves are bad. If Kg6, then Rf6+ pushes the king down as king cant advance back to g7 due to the pawn. After Kg5, h7 and nor the king nor the rook can catch the pawn because the rook is now on B3 and the king is WAAAAY behind...
Let's check the second king move, if after Rxb3, h6+, Kh7 staying in front of the pawn and blockading it, then Rxf7 comes with check, you lose an important pawn. Now you have to go way back to the 8th rank and then the rook can grab the c7 pawn, as the black rook is now on the B file and you have to watch out for some sort of knight/rook checks, pawn advances, White will be much faster since the pawn is on h6 and black's passer will only be on b5, after Black removes the rook since it is in front of the pawn now
It's not defended, and then you have three pawns moving forward.

exactly that's what I was thinking. Maybe rook+ pawn vs rook + 2 pawns is still a dead draw im not good at endgame that well.
