- A runner from Brooklyn died just after crossing the finish line at the Brooklyn Half Marathon on Saturday. As CBS2's Thalia Perez reports, there were also several people hospitalized following the race.
A Half-Marathon, 70 degree weather, although humidity kind of high. This should'nt be the reason enough for 16 people needed to hospitalize.
60 degrees in the morning. high 80s by 11am at 94% humidity. They had heat stroke and heat exhaustion.

I used to run marathons and logged 45-50:miles a week in training. I decided to cut my distance and training down after hearing about the potential impact of distance and miles on your heart.
