I liked D6 Rpg for two reasons in particular.....one is because you could simply use regular dice (& one red dice as the wild die)..i vividly remembered that 12 years ago...you could buy a bunch of regular dice from the dollar store. instead of buying & using 20 different kinds of dice. and the other reason why i liked D6 was because the Game mechanic was very simple....
I love Battletech! We used to play MechWarrior, and my friend had a big terrain table set-up. So we'd rp then battle. We had a lot of mini's and we'd set up our small battles and go at it. I especially loved the simplicity and the purity of the mechanics. Excellent game design. I also love the d20 system for D&D. It solved a lot of problems in the old system, but I still prefer much of 3e to 5e.
(Justin) as much as I liked 5E in the early years, I do miss 3E and its wacky builds and in depth style. Matt has played more Battletech than I, but it is quite a fun game!
I just like the system of" roll x amount of dice" see how many d6 is above x number. So clean . So little math and you can customize it so easily . upgrades are just more dice. Or even higher dice(I'd you need 6 and above a d8 will be batter then a d6
The only real 2D__ system I'm familiar with is Traveller. I'm sure there are other games I've heard about or even played... Battletech I guess right? That's a war game though haha.
Love the small channels. Don’t let any big channel discourage you man I love your content.
We appreciate it!
The problem with D6 systems it's that I want to roll the exotic dices!
Star Wars. The West End Games version. Best game/system I’ve ever played

That's how Matt feels too!

For solo rpg & GM-lite: great use for (d6), “story engine”: created & written by
Peter Casey
Oh I've heard of that one!
I was just kinda hoping for a breakdown of bellcurve probabilities lol
We'll look into that
My logic is (d10). it allows to accommodates percentages which in turn allows (d20).
Hmm. Interesting but odd choice of topic. There's multiple versions of both systems. By multiple I mean thousands lol
D6 system you say? Hmmmmm
