Thank you so much for the collaboration!! So enjoyed putting these together, this is a super fun DLC and absolutely honored to put together these videos! ❤
Wowsers! You're moving up in the world! I am proud of you!
Well done mate. Great to see you involved with this.
Great job Few!🎉
So glad to see you collaborating with Paradox for these vids. Can't wait to exploit, er I mean invest in the stock market ;-)

Amazing! Excellent choice in using FewCandy. Criminally underrated in the Cities community! Thanks for showing us the new DLC FewC! Looking forward to more :)
Ahh thank you Egg!! ❤
Agreed on the underrated assessment! Sub to FewCandy NOW!!!

There is no risk or reward to any of this. Just set tax to 12% and you have plenty of money.

Great job FewCandy! Looks like a fantastic addition to the game!!
Will Verde Beach becoming a financial institution now too?🤔
Thanks CPP! 😄

Wow this is way more in depth than I expected. Looks cool! I'm waiting patiently for this update+map pack 2 to jump back in!
I wonder what the free update has, maybe more cross-DLC stuff?
I'm glad that this DLC will bring in a totally new mechanic rather than just planting yet annother specialized zone with buildings bound to be placed inside the zone. Also, since the stockexchange is an upgradeable building this might open up the ability to upgrade other buildings like firestations, hospitals, etc. as well - at least via mods.
Nice one FC 👍😁
Thanks Biffa! 😄
Great tutorial! This looks like a run mini DLC!
It’s so easy to make money doing manipulation it’s so fun
So good to seeing Few Candy doing this video deserves so much credit for her excellent content. Give her a watch.
Thank you Few Candy for your amazing description of the new expansion pack! I like the risk in it!
Thank you Sarah! ❤
This looks more involved than I thought it’d be. Well explained FewC
Brilliant video. FewCandy should definitely get more work from you guys, she's a brilliant detailer and fantastic CS content creator!
This was really well done Few C! Awesome job! Happy to see you getting some more exposure!
Coming out of facing alot, I knew two things about the stock market: It caused the Great Depression, and the fastest way to make a million on the markets was to start with two million. And then the Great Recession happened only a few years later. So yeah, I wish someone had better explained it to me earlier in life. Having a good entry and exit strategy will make you succeed in the stock market.
Exactly, most of the investors pays more attention to the profit aspect forgetting that the market involves ups and down. securing your financial position requires lots of patience and proper education on the market so as to know the right profitable stock to buy and invest in. I made over $260k in profits, from just the Q4 of 2021. Investing in the stock market is most profitable when you understand how the market actually works.
@@Paulakanyutu I really acknowledge your comment, i have been trading stocks for a while now but i have not been able to make much. how do you achieve this feat?
@@allenhubbard4961 Not really. I copy trades from a US professional trader. *Melanie* *Wynne* *Anderson* . I met her in a seminar in NY and we talked a lot, ever since i started copying her trades signal my portfolio has grown at a tremendous pace and she has been very consistent. I can tell you she's quite the genius in trading and portfolio diversification
@@Paulakanyutu I checked out her name online and was able to find her website, her qualification/testimonials seem solid with positive reviews am impressed. I'm wondering if there is a minimum amount required for her services
Thanks FewCandy for the great explanation. This DLC sounds really involved and engaging and I love it. The assets are cool, too.
Thanks for this concise informative video introducing the new Financial Districts expansion. A great set of new buildings that have the potential to upgrade. I can see this simulation being developed further to create a more in-depth POLITICAL system within the game where enacting policies will have a direct impact on the gameplay, giving us a more in-depth interactive gameplay- this will be welcomed by many. Looking forward to your next video
You have such a nice voice to listen to. Nothing like those hyper speed talking teenagers who always scream into their microphones. This means: I actually listened through this entire video! (I mostly turn it of after 10 seconds, or I just scan through the video.)
The line between bold and reckless can be thin. I realized that Investing in the market is one of the the best ways to grow our money and beat inflation over a long time horizon although some knowledge is required it's probably less than we think
People are equally losing money in the financial market in the midst of all these... I own various real estate properties but I'll always go for mutual funds/stocks and It’s quite feasible to make 6 figures trading monthly
@@mokshsamay3189 I've only just started over the last couple of mnths. I've been doing plenty of research. In fact I'm really enjoying the aspect of learning and researching. Though I won't say I have gained or lost a fortune, I have actually been involved in all of these for a while. what’s your approach?
@@vergarasawyer3573 I sold my losing positions and moved to more defensive instruments and I never looked back as advised by my fiduciary financial advisor, 'Allina Dresslar Bell’ Partnered with Raymond James Financial Service Advisors. For me she made up a wild narrative justifying my past decisions and attributing bad outcomes to risk. if someone can’t stomach losses from tips, there’s always the option to buy individual tips and hold them to maturity, she said.
With makets tumbling, inflation soaring, the Fed imposing large interest-rate hike, while treasury yields are rising rapidly which means more red ink for portfolios this quarter. How can I profit from the current volatile market, I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $125k bond/stock portfolio
@@ishaandevaj5587 My advice is always to keep the majority in ETFs that cover multiple sectors. Then have a couple stocks, as a small percentage, picked out that you feel personally attached to or interested in. That way you can mitigate a lot of the risk but also have a personal touch to your portfolio. I feel this mitigates some of the emotional downsides or disinterest people have with investing. Also helps with the urge to constantly buy/sell with fluxes in the market.
AMAZING job by Few Candy!!!!!!
The stock system could be really useful for figuring out if a service/industry isn’t working as intended.
The asset with the glass curtain wall on the old facade was awesome. This type of building can actually be seen in CBD Tokyo. The reason for this is the demand to build buildings downtown but keep the old low-rise buildings.
I hope soon there will be more about the reactions of the people. I mean like they can protest and such, not just abandon or atleast have some homelessness rate, not just the demand or unemployment, well, since the game wants to be in depth, why not add things that make it more realistic like protests or corruption. Anyways, nice addition!
This sounds amazing!
The civil unrest dlc 😂🤣
Hell no, I want to play games to get away from IRL shit
That city looks like what NYC would look like if it was moved to the west coast
Great job Few C! This sounds like an interesting addition to the game. I'll hold off and watch Few C and Egg review it on their channels.
Wait for some unbiased reviews.
Yes yes and yes! Amazing work!!
This reminds me of some trade games in space
Very cool
FewCandy, in think you might have sold me on this DLC. Great introduction!
WOO HOO Candy!!! 😁
I'm completely invested in this.
the one investing is also the one with sole power over all the affairs in the city, cannot wait to practice insider trading in City Skylines hehe
I cant believe we are getting visibly upgradable unique buildings like in Simcity 5. love it and well explained :D
Now we can do insider training, just like a real local government :D
Can't wait for this , keep up with the good work 🙌
With this awful graphic?
So happy they made this a thing, i mentioned it way back when they asked for what we would like to see in future DLC...glad they made some financial assets finally to go with some gameplay. Would have expected this more for a CS:2 but glad to see it now and then it will be able to be improved when we eventually get a CS:2.
Holy moly. You gamified humanities biggest flaws: Finance system.
I wiahed the buildings did not look so cartoony.
Can't wait for it to play in my cities!
Finally, an upgradable building! One of the few things from SimCity 2013 I wanted in Cities Skylines
This is interesting. What's Cities: Skylines turning into? It's just a little more time, we'll build our own military. We can even invade other cities. I'm loving these expansions.
I’m so exited!
OMG FewCandy! Great Choice Paradox!
All we need now are military bases (mostly to help cities recover from disasters obviously I don’t want to deal with a war in this game) it would also be nice if all of the government services added in DLCs had Headquarter buildings that serves a purpose like if you add the postal service HQ you get more trucks or it costs less. I also feel like that would fit in well with tourism they could be offices and tourist destinations like a monument! you could make a “capital city DLC” with all of the HQ buildings and they could boost tourism maybe in top of the benefits for each department. There are still so many more options with this game honestly!
Edit: Last idea I just had with military would be the option to add motorcades for say a UN or a state/ country wide leader residence! They could be escorts in the game Since this is ultimately a traffic simulation that would be a very cool thing to have to manage certain roads just closing for motorcades or parades!
How will this dlc interact with the inbuilt "unlimited money" mod?
Can't wait to play with this dlc!
That "Very legit company" looks legit to be invested in
Wish you could make the stock building historical, I really like how the first level looks but I want to use all the features.
Maybe a mod will come out if others feel the same way.
Awesome Tutorial FewCandy!
FewCandy!! Love your videos!
Thank you 😊
the fewcandy representation we all needed!
This is way more than I thought it would be, I literally thought it was new styles buildings
Finally, an effective and logical way to finance the 'free education' policy in Univerisities. (Potential Tax free city route too?)
Love to see FewCandy!!
I'm very excited for the future with other possible upgradable buildings.
There needs to be a city skyline citizens DLC where the citizens do more than just walk around and go to work and stuff like that. For example protests riots and other things that happen from things that the player does
If only education would work in the same way, unlocking new techs along the way.
game changer
Im not a financial guru by any means, but this update will make me spend a loto of time in that, ery cool
Hope this doesn't break all the mods again. Had a huge headache going through all my mods and removing the obsolete ones after the Roads and Vehicles DLC Update.
Hope won't save them 😀
Thats what i call a glow up...wow
Ohh yes finally we get a Nespresso CitiZ Building ;-)
They should have made the investment part of the dlc like it was in railroad tycoon 3. There you were your own persona and had a 'fortune' you could invest in various assets. In this way it is not the cities budget money that goes to investments....
I would love to see an industry mini expansion where instead of using the oil for just petroleum and plastics etc. We could set up a petrol station/ fuel station and set prices of fuel and run a city network of fuel stations making sure they all have there deliverys or residents start to protest and refuse to pay taxes 🤣
I'd imagine it to be quite fun. I'm from UK so not sure how you would say petrol station elsewhere. A place to buy your car fuel etc
If you go down that route you would micro manage every business. You’re meant to be the mayor.
@@4879daniel very true. I mean it's not like the uk government aren't linked to suspicious companies 🤣
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩
🎉🎉🎉
I hope those red brick buildings aren't just offices. They'd be very sexy residential buildings
Bin a minute since I've seen a few candy vid, I don't know why UA-cam hasn't been recommending her videos to me lately..
this is really what the game needs, I find it really hard to make money on this game. I currently play with developer mode to help while I practise.
Pretty cool idea
For city servaces couldent we just defund them causing the stocks to crash then buy and raise the funding so the stocks go up and then we sell?
Love this game always have update
Cool. When can we expect a new game, do you think?
Do those company stocks' performances correlate with the health/happiness of individual companies in your cities--and thus can tracking stock performance help give you insight into things you can do to improve your city's overall functioning?
e.g. Greasy Gasoline and Traffic Jelly Logistics @2:50 ... are those ACTUAL companies in this city, and by evaluating those companies' stock performance can I figure out how to improve the neighborhood, street networks, supply chains, etc.
I love this expansion ... but there is going to be so much manipulation in terms of buying and selling stocks it's basically insider trading ... you just buy stocks and then build a lot of for example hospitals and then sell medical stocks I like the idea but there needs to be much more randomness included to make this work "normally"
Politicians do this soo...it just like real life!
🤑🤑
Stock exchange is like SIMCITY cityhall.
Pog
Finally the companies will be stateowned
creates a nice loophole/glitching. drop all death care/health care. Buy when the fund is worthless. Then fix the issue, and cash cash cash...
The idea that having a financial district *increases* the tax rate is darkly hilarious.
Oh cool, now I get to lose money on the stock market in game as well 😍
Still no bus rapid transit type of DLC after all this time. 😌
I hope modders can make it feel like a risk is actually being taken
Anyone know if the new tax rate boost from the international trade building and the stock exchange affects just the new financial offices or does it affect all offices?
Just the new financial offices which are in their radius
@@fewcandy Thank you
Get paradox to fix the traffic ai on vanilla or add pissing traffic manager rather than a pissing stock exchange with banks etc etc ... WE NEED VANILLA TRAFFIC FIXED..
The traffic AI is already fixed. Maybe you just suck at managing it.
I wonder if there's a way to exploit the stock market by making the businesses not run properly, then when the stock goes down you invest, then you make the businesses run smoothly, then once the stock price increases you cash out for huge profits. This would at least make it as realistic as the real world is.
😁
We neef more tiles on console!
We want Cities Skylines 2 and fix the horrendous optimization!! Thanks to no limit camera mod, we can see that thousands of sims are already charged on the game, waiting on the roads to be a car or in the outside train stations, how much work is that for the CPU!?!!?
Lol Cities Skyline 2 will never come smh they will update this for years they could probably last another 7 years without a new game sadly
@@whoishim2998 yeah I know, but the game have some horrible optimization fails. I almost don't use props or graphic mods, but if my city goes up to 180.000 citizens, starts to go very bad :( I like make big cities XD
@@whoishim2998lol
Omg skylines goes rpg 😏
Can investments be manipulated by buying a stock in a your small forestry industry and then building a large one?
Yes, they showed in stream yesterday. They simply turned off hospitals temporarily to affect healthcare stock price.
@@4879daniel Sounds like the game needs a corruption mechanic
I hope some custom assets can be made for this because the vanilla ones are UGLY!!
May we plz get a traffic manager mod or feauture in Cities Skylines for Console?😇
How much will the dlc cost?
25 tiles on Console please
This expansion is already avaible? And will be free?
not sure i morally agree with normalizing investment culture with (potentially) children gamers. we've already seen real-world disaters resulting from young investors treating stocks as a game. but anyway, great little review Mrs. Candy!
You dont have to purchase it.
@@Danny13Gaming lol.
Sadly after already spending more than $100 on this game its unplayable on console. Really wanted this game to be something special with and for the family, but it's just not that. This game is basically SimCity on Console as the space to work with doesn't allow you to use assets properly and thus your cities end up a huge mess with it running slower than a snail on 3x. 9 tiles on 90% of maps is insulting as either you get the worst area to build and the areas you really want are in the 82 tile region. Gaming as a family is dead. You have to own multiple consoles or computers to play together as a family and games like this aren't even remotely family friendly on console due to the severe lack of space and mods that make the game actually playable.
It runs bad on PC too. I’m in slow motion at 200k population with above recommended specs.
@@4879daniel The game has far more potential than what we have. As long as this game has been out Mods should be available on all platforms. 25 tiles should be bare minimum. It should run the same speed with 10 Million Cims as with 0 and the maps should be friendly for all systems not just modded PC. The map packs are horrendous for 9 tile builds. They are only look good if you have 25 to 82 tiles. On console 80% of maps are unplayable without completely re terraforming the area, but then you run into horrendous road building dynamics that are buggy and broken for console families. It takes hours or even days to build a Highway interchange that doesn't look like a kindergartener drew on paper while having a hyperactive sugar rush. There are mods that have been around on PC long enough to have been added into the base game such as Traffic Manager, Move It, and Anarchy. Yet developers and console companies continue to take a massive unfiltered dump on families who want to game together on 1 device and be as creative as what these kids discove on UA-cam yet they are hurt due to the inaccessibility of consoles. We can't even squad together as a family on Fortnite due to the fact nearly every single Online game requires separate accounts and separate devices to play.
Too OP, you will never run out money.
Had 25 Million and nearly double the money in 20 Minutes, buying expensive stock at the lowest point and sell it seconds later with 500.000 to 1 Million +
fix first the game limit anoder dlc to fill your pocets fix the limits of the game first
