KP really is annoying, causes so many self confidence problems for me so this video definitely helped with deciding on if this is a good product. Also your description thing is so detailed and organized, really informative. I love it
I’ve had KP for my whole life and it really is terrible for my self confidence, I have always wanted smooth skin like everyone else. But I’ve never had it. I am so exited to try this product!
Sophia Rolli i feel the same :/ it’s hard to wear shorts or bathing suits in public or around people. But here’s an update since i forgot to do one, so I’ve had this product for a bit now and I personally don’t think it does much. It might be different for you though. If I do ever find something that works, I will come back to this comment section and lyk.
"Definitely use it on wet skin" my mom is a dermatologist and she says using it on dry skin before showering is better because the water neutralizes the acids
I just received the 4oz bottle in my Boxycharm box. I am a bit hesitant about using it because of my sensitive skin, but listening to your review has helped me feel better about it. Thank you!
I bought this product from your recommendation video and now I can't wait to try it out. Thank you so much for giving us detailed information about this product. GREAT VIDEO!
I have used it probably twice since I bought it and it does work for me. My skin is more smoother after application but I immediately have to followup with a good moisturizer because I naturally have dry skin
KP is genetic and, as a result, a lifelong condition, but it can decrease in appearance and frequency of flare-ups with age. After around 30 it tends to lighten up. You have to maintain your skincare routine that combats the keratin buildup, and that usually depends on multiple products - most importantly, a deep moisturizer.
Great tip, since this does have acids, must use spf. I use SPF on my face not my body, so now I have to make myself use it on my body. I can't wait for mine to arrive, ordered last week. Love your informative videos
Blessedbythebest 1 I think the pumice will be too harsh for the face. I use mine on my legs to prevent any shaving bumps and Ingrowns. It would peel off my sensitive face skin. Please patch test first if you do plan to try on your face. Personally I wouldn’t as it’s formulated for body not face, but skincare is a personal decision.
@@tara_27244 yes, too harsh for face, I was referring to the body. When using this on the body over time your body would get sensitive tho the sun too right? So you would need spf on your body?
@@isaxcupcake I edited my post. It read like that sorry, thanks for caring 😁. I meant use SPF on my body since this contains acids. Will definitely not use on my face. Thanks guys!
Used it twice now. So far so good. Will see in a few weeks if it smooths the skin. And don’t have to worry about SPF for now since it’s cold and snowy now. but yes come February when I travel to Trinidad will be sure to use body SPF that sun is no joke (I don’t usually need it on my legs, only waist up so I will have to be more thoughtful about it).
I find it effective for use on my legs where I tend to get some clogged pores and bumps on the side and back of my thighs. And Use it 1-2 days before shaving to exfoliate and helped prevent itchiness from regrowth
I haven’t used it much on my upper body as my skin there is more sensitive and don’t have similar skin concerns there. Lower body use I find it tolerable and effective.
First of all! I love you’re eyes, they remind me of my own ( I know you probably get hassled by men because of them ) also! Thanks for the review you just sold another bottle for KP
I have the Dermadoctor kp duty scrub i like it but the price point is too high for my budget . I’m going to try this one and hopefully it works that way I can stick to it. I have KP all over my thighs and legs.
I will definitely buy this product. There’s a brand that I would like that you review Neostrata And also solar protection for body! I personally use all year long SPF on my face even if is winter here in Canada, funny but for me is worst than summer specially on those winter sunny days ! Love your videos
Thanks for this! I actually have this coming in the mail. Should have arrived today, but delayed due to Veterans day, so I'll have it tomorrow! I actually do have some KP on the back of my arms and calves so I'll be interested to see if it does indeed help my condition. Also coming in that Sephora package is Honeymoon Glow, because you raved about it! Not sure where to fit it into my skincare routine because I have been loving Biologique Recherche P50 (what made me interested in skincare 3 years ago) and DE Babyfacial for so long. I also recently picked up Goop Instant Facial in the small size--I just had to try it based on what I've heard. So far I've used it twice. It was surprisingly intense and left my face pink for about an hour on first use, which was shocking because I am already an avid user of acids. The second use not much happened. We'll see how I fare with the product, and whether Honeymoon Glow will usurp any of my faves!
@@natashadwyer8336 so i took into consideration some of Dr. Dray's advice regarding KP (exfoliate & moisturize so things dont get trapped under dead skin). exfoliated every shower, moisturized after every shower. no change. its probably something internal (dietary) in my case :( btw i would not repurchase the product because rubbing it on my skin was so unpleasant. i have sensitive hands and it gave me chills to constantly rub those very fine granules. if that doesnt make sense then you are normal 😂personally im sticking with a body brush!

As a practicing Dermatologist let me clarify your false statement and shine some truth to it. When you state that FAB is targeted towards people with sensitive skin that isn't very true as some of their products do contain fragrance! It may not be an added parfum but most of their products contain Eucalyptus oil which is a fragrant and a very known irritant. I don't know any dermatologists that recommend FAB. Also literally every brand out there targets people with "sensitive skin" as it's a huge selling point
I'm not too sure what's in the water but, I'm noticing an influx of "professionals" that think it's appropriate to come on my channel and "tell me about myself." Well, hear me and hear me good, it's not. Correcting false information is fine and appreciated but, that's not what you did in your comment. It is 100% true that FAB products are targeted towards people with sensitive skin. The founder of FAB has sensitive skin and embarked on a journey to create products for herself as well as the masses. There are many products that contain "known irritants" that people with sensitive skin (myself included) can still use, enjoy and get great results. I am NOT a professional and I encourage my followers to do what works for them above all else. I couldn't care less whether dermatologists recommend FAB products or not. That factor in not important to me when testing skincare products nor choosing to include them into my personal routine.
