@K No, it's just a Korean superstition that if you shake your legs (or butt), you're "shaking out your luck." I have a tendency to shake my leg when I'm bored or restless, and my dad will tell me to stop and say that I'm losing my good luck. Think of it more like shaking coins out of your pocket.

@@nela1964 No. The proper end state of a society WOULD ignore racism. I'm sick of the tip-toe society, I want us all to see each other simply as fellow humans. In any case racism, stereotypes and even the fact that they offend are all learned behaviors. The only problems are the media and the police which polarize it into a debate of which lives matter.

I saw Cho in 2000 at the Jackie Gleason Center of the performing arts in Miami......to this day the best comedic performance I’ve ever seen. I went with my wife who was my girlfriend at the time and she was freakin’ out cause she never heard a comedian that hardcore before......that itself was a funny memory.
Man, Margaret's got to be the most confident stand-up comedian I've ever seen. Bravo!

What's wrong with telling people where she's originally (or where her parents/grandparents) from? Why mask her culture? Educate people who want to know if they ask even if they sound ignorant.
