I am 54 years old and I am going through all of the above and having fibromyalgia makes it much worse. Keep up the good work and thanks
You're welcome Op!
There is a lot more to the menopause than hot flushes and for me i've been through a lot of them in the last 3 years the worst was joint stiffness first thing in the morning i felt like an eighty year old and by about 4pm started to feel normal i thought this can't be right .i tried most of what the market has to offer but now after about 2 years feeling alot better and a good varied diet exercise very important and getting good nourishing sleep is the best way to manage all symptons so i
don't take anything and spend the money on good food instead. There is light at the end of the tunnel look after yourself be good to yourself as your hormones settle down thats what it is quite literally the change.
Hi Margaret
Thank you so much for sharing this, it’s great to hear that you have managed well with your diet and looking after yourself, we do know it can be done!
The stiffness is really killing me...
Blessing in disguise as I've just been to the doctors complaining of severe joint pain for the last few weeks, now I'm thinking about what you've just said and will try the water before pumping myself with tons of over the counter medication. Thanks for this timely tip.
Love all you videos, you explained so well. I got lots information from your videos, thank you so much from the bottom of heart Eileen!!!
Glad to be of help!

You are a godsend! Three months ago menopause hit and I was so scared and had panic attacks and felt so old and thought I was dying and after watching your videos and following your diet recommendations I feel confident, relaxed, younger and setting future goals! And definitely healthier. All my symptoms are gone except stress which I'm managing better thanks to your advice but is a challenge for us all at any age, and joint pain, which the stress could be aggravating if not causing, and I do need to drink more water, have better posture, exercise more and lose at least twenty pounds to protect them better. Thank you for the video, I never thought about a correlation between hydration and the joints
Hi Susan
That's a fantastic result, so good to hear my tips have been helpful for you, but well done on all the hard work you've put into this too!

Hip pain, feels like someone's pulling my hips down , from being a really fit and healthy person this year I'm hurting all over. I really hate it, from someone who could jump up and pull and push furniture about to now can't get off floor when I'm playing with my Grandaughter .
Hi Deb
Hope the tips in the videos are helpful for you.

You're welcome!
@@debyorkshirelass9674 curious to know if you've had any improvement with increase in water that Eileen mentioned.
Yes!!!
Both my hips.. knees..wrists ..ankles ... knees ...the neck... 2 weeks before period
Why do some doctors think that hormones aren't related to this. Mine is convinced I have fibromyalgia.
My doctor said that hormones are blamed for everything.
I happen to agree with you.
All of these factors seem to collide for the perfect storm at this age.
Hi Trisha
Unfortunately, with joint pain and the menopause there can be lots of confusion!
u r my life saver! joint pain is my worst nightmare. thanks so much for the information Doc. your videos r relatable.🙏

The right half of my body is in so much pain I can't even remember what it is like to be normal. I've hardly ever taken painkillers even when I had a c-section I took nothing. I'm used to the "pain" feeling and just suffer every day.
Hi
I have already replied to your pervious email so please do get this checked by your doctor or a Chiropractor first.
Can the muscles ache too at this time?
Yes unfortunately this can happen at this time as well.
I am 56 and have suffered from lower Bach pain/stiffness in my back for two years! I would suffer in the mornings could not get out of bed. I have been in menopause for a year now and started HRT last year. Only 4 month ago I came across this amazing doctor who recommended that I take MSM supplements which have been a miracle! I am 80% better! Finally I have hope!
Fantastic result, MSM can be so helpful and it's also great for the hair and nails!

Hi is joint pain incurable? I can’t take calcium because of taking lithium, because it elevates my calcium level. I take magnesium and vitamin D3. So what to do with the pain all over body specially some parts. Also glucosamine doesn’t go well with me.Thank you
Hi
You could look into the herb Devils Claw as this is known as a natural anti-inflammatory but you would just need to double check with your pharmacist, if it's OK to take with your medication. Remember to drink plenty of plain water as dehydration is often a huge factor with joint pain

Hi Patricia
If you are worried about what the doctor has prescribed for you, please do get back to them and ask them to explain in more detail how they can help you and if there are any potential side effects. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to give any individual advice regarding prescribed medications, sorry.

Hi! Are you aware of if these same symptoms can happen during breastfeeding? The more I research, the more I see that estrogen can be really low while breastfeeding, similar to menopause, which is how I came across this video. All of my joints ache (Facet joints in low back, Si joints, wrist, knee, fingers) and my eyes are soooooo dry! This all started after having my second child in November and I am still breastfeeding.
Hi Breana
That's so interesting, thank you for the information!

I do not have pain. Just puffy joints left knee. Puffy eyes, puffy
Hi
Puffy skin anywhere can often be due to dehydration so do make sure that you are drinking plenty of plain water every day, over and above your other drinks. This often works really quickly!
