I have G502 Proteus core for many years, now switching to all wireless. If I don't care for RGB, can you recommend G502 x lightspeed wireless instead of plus? As I know plus is only added RGB?
I was in the same position. Just upgrading from my Proteus core now, it's been a great mouse. What mouse did you end up going with? I caved and ordered the G502 X Plus.
Not sure if I want this for my replacement mouse for my superlight with a broken wheel because logitech doesn't have a superlight in stock in my area for replacements.
hey, i heard that lmb seems lighter on the new g502X. Could you compare the actuation force on a balance. Put it on, tare, and note how many grams it needs to click
I've been all over the place with mice through the years. Started getting mice with more and more buttons (Razer Naga) before backing off. I gravitate toward simple now. Give me two side buttons and I'm good. I claw grip, so prefer something a bit smaller and not so long. And with the split across the top for the RGB, I have to wonder how comfortable the G502X is for palming.
I also prefer more simple mouse but mice like the G502x definitely have there place, especially depending on what game you are playing where you can take advantage of those features. I find it comfortable for palm grip.
Thanks for specifically calling out the mouse wheel feel and the recording of the sound spinning it. Recent Razer mice have a sludgy mouse wheel feel (way too easy to overscroll by accident) so I've been looking for something with a more precise feel.
I returned it back only for the scroll wheel for being so noisy when it is on friction mode! The ratchety sound just blows my mind! Apart from that, the ergonmic was good since I'm a palm grip user. But again, the scroll is just thr worst.
Amazing, I can’t wait to see more content from this guy!
Is there any old gaming mouses that you think are still good for today?
Thanks for watching! Lots of older gaming mice can still work for today. HyperX pulsefire haste wired, XM1R, GPRO Superlight, Viper Ultimate, etc.

Great content! I am using the older wired version and is still pretty good after few years of use.
Thanks for watching! I'm glad it's working well for you still!

@@CalebThornton does it still have scroll left right buttons
@@jgvtc559 yes, it have
@@jgvtc559 yeah man
My G502x has very pingy switches - is this normal?
Ping like sound or click tactile
It's the new Lightforce switches they are using. These are a mix of a mechanical and optical switch to prevent double-clicking issues.

I think, if they just add a hero 2 sensor this would beat a basilisk, but the old Hero is what 5-6 years old.

How would you rate it against the MX Master 3S? I know this one is all about gaming, but for overall feel and usage, what do you think?
The MX Master 3S is better in every way excluding gaming.
Does it have powerplay charging? I assume if it can use the dock but no confirmation?
yes I am currently using this model on the powerplay works flawless
6502 x = no RGB
6502 x plus = with RGB
price difference = 20$
Hell nohhh

ERGO or AMBI mice, which do you prefer?
I much prefer ergonomic mice honestly
@@RealShylm I use to only like ERGO mice as well, but I now prefer AMBI for gaming and ERGO for just daily use.
