Hey! Thanks so much for this kind feedback - my goal for now is to have fun with these drones that I have used for work but don’t always have time to explore, with the hopes of learning g and yea hung others along the way. Stay tuned for more 😀👍
Thanks a lot for watching! I took my part 107 almost 8 years ago now - best way is to connect with local airport and see if they have any materials for study or classes. That’s how I passed no problem / best of luck!
That’s a great question! I haven’t use the RC remote with built in screen before but I believe it has the DJI fly app built right in so it should be the same as what you saw me do in the video. Hope this helps?
@The-Drone-Guy Not sure I'll check.. also I realized the settings for the camera were not what you switch to. So now that its set at 4k 60fp, I'll see later today if that makes a difference.
OK, nice video and it provides some insight. But you really do not have any business calling your video a "Tutorial" when you are more or less guessing your way along. Tutorials come from people who are experienced in what they are teaching.
Hey! I think I can accept this feedback - more of a “learn along” however sometimes the best tutorial is just getting out there and getting into it. Thanks for watching either way!
Must say I'm very impressed. But I think a drone that price should have GPS follow-me as well. And the reason why I think follow-me is superior in many situations is because of 10:00. Who is gonna risk a drone that kind of money in real life? I rather fly it away from obstacles instead of depending on the sensors. The best sensors are in my head I'm born with. But active-track has to keep you in view from relatively close range for it to work. Soon it loses you you have to race back to pick it up again. You won't have time for all that on a bike tour. GPS follow-me is much simpler. And a whole lot cheaper. My $135 L109 Pro drone, unfortunately one of the few programmed the correct way, does it perfectly so there's no reason why DJI can't. I wish it had a better camera and gimbal.
Very good point and this is why the Skyduo are so popular with active tracking. And this is another reason like you said I have relied on my own flying skills rather than the DJI active tracking. However with the right approach you can still get some incredible footage I wouldn't be able to otherwise. What drone are you referring to btw? Custom build?
@@The-Drone-Guy and I recently bought a C-Fly Faith Mini thinking the follow-me was done correctly. But I can't use the sticks!!! So that's pretty useless also. The whole point is I am not a drone guy standing in one spot trying to get beautiful landscape footage. I am a cycle tourer. For me a drone has to have totally different qualities. First it must be small so I can put it in a bag next to me. Then it must be a matter of seconds to get it in the air. I don't have time to mess around an hour. The controller must be nice and small to hold in one hand. The phone screen is impossible to see while riding. I can name a whole bunch of other things. If the video is not perfect I don't care. Rather have less good video than no video at all. But maybe A DJI Mini 2 with Maven or Litchi would work fantastic. I don't know. I'm trying to find out. But like I said, all those drone reviewers and manufacturers are not riding a bike 2000km. If they would they would know exactly how to build one.
This was an awesome video!
I don't know what your goal is but please keep with it!!! You've got a natural talent for production and narration.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the mini 2 and the mini 2 se please and thanks
Hey! The only difference is that the mini 2 shoots in 4K and mini 2 se shoots 2.7k
Enjoying your videos! Did you take the FAA 107 test? Any recommendations on study material if so?

How did u find active track on remote

🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉BRAVO, I am All in!
Wow thanks a lot for watching!
Pressed Go button and no * Stop * shows up. Same thing with PDI mode. It will not circle around me. Help? 😵💫
That sounds odd! May I ask if you are using a micro sd card or the drones internal memory?

Thanks, I was thinking if it could track horses. Which now I know it can't.
I know I was kind of bummed. Now with horses I wonder if you could track the person that is riding the horse. Just a thought? Best of luck!
@@The-Drone-Guy Will it track a person while on the horse position 🤔. I have to check it out somehow. Thanks.
@@dhorseriders my guess is yes, but sounds like I need to find someone with a horse 🐎 🤣👍
lt did happen satisfied result. by the way ı shared range test.
No way I’m going to check out now!
