I got a chance to witness a test match in Sri Lanka, the time when Ajantha Mendis was wreaking havoc. I saw dravid defending against Kulasekara and Dilhara Fernando and his bat was even more solid than a rock. You could hear the ball hitting his blade even outside the stadium in the entrance line

I saw Ambrose and Walsh when I was very young but the years I started loving cricket was when Fidel Edwards was at his peak and he'll forever be my fave west Indies fast bowler, he was wayward at times but when he get is right he was almost unplayable, too bad injuries never allowed him to be better
I used to copy his bowling action. Shoulder surgery ended my career now. Else i would have met him

Dravid in 2011 was a beast. I still remember him going to England after this series and scoring runs for fun when every other batter failed.
Edwards was bowling heat here and apart from one loose slash his judgement was perfect. Wonderful player. Also great to hear Tony Cozier's voice once more
immediately after this tour against Australia drvd chutya scored just 168 runs in 8 innings at the average 20+.

This was the 3rd and final test of the 2011 series in the WI... India drew this test as we batted out 32 overs for 93 or so and called off play with 15 of the mandatory overs remaining.. India won the series 1-0 and there were adverse remarks against Capt Dhoni for not showing intent by chasing this 180.
There was some good movement there from Edwards.
