All season, all terrain.
We did months and months of "research" looking for the perfect camo for us to use on our hunts. We know this is isn't as "pretty" as the well known brands out there. But when you are hunting you aren't looking for what looks good to humans, you are looking for what works best against animals. ASAT Camo is just that. I breaks up all outlines that animals can see. It just flat out works! It is comfortable, flexible, water-resistant, warm..what more can you ask for. Just received the cold weather jacket and pants. I ordered a large seems to fit ok living in Northern Pennsylvania it can get very cold here.
It has worked for us whitetail hunting so far.
@derrickslodysko963 man I had a few young bucks literally walk within 20 yards of me. Couldn't do anything cause of the antler restrictions. I don't think they even knew I was there
Anyone notice the ASAT stuff running more on the small side ?
the camo is different color shades year to year , its a shame they cant get colors right
ASAT camo patterns should be bought from Day One Camo... not ASAT itself. Far better quality
Asat is an awesome camo I live in central Pa it blends so well with the woods
It’s amazing how this pattern blends. It doesn’t seem like just by looking at it. But even down in south Louisiana it works!
great camo. it dosent have the marketing hype behind it like the other companies so not as popular. Plus its not a "designer camo like sitka or first lite
I see so many people, outfitted head to toe, in sitka and kuiu, wandering the stores and gassing up their trucks. For many, it's a fashion statement.

Why would you wear this in the south?
I am just replying with ASAT's words since they described this scenario best. Also please, for now, google "ASAT Camo pattern" and you will see videos and pictures showing the effectiveness of this camo. We will also be posting more video's and pictures showing the effectiveness in south Louisiana.
The rabbit, deer, elk, and moose are what color?
Brown....Exactly! If green were such a good camo color the good lord would have made these animals green. The next time you're in a sporting goods store look at the clothing racks, what color are the hunting clothes? So if nature tells us the best camo color is brown, then what is the obsession with green? The answer is simple.
Most camo today is designed to catch the hunter rather than to help catch the quarry. The bottom line is if you want a camo pattern that looks good to wear on a date, then you're at the wrong website; however, if you want a camo pattern that works in All Seasons and in All Terrain, then we welcome you to the ASAT Nation.

What does being in the south have to do with it?
I was assuming he was referring to have more green around the south than say, out west perhaps. But as explained, the brown colors with the black is a very effective design even in an environment that is the majority green.
It blends with everthing. Green has nothing to do with anything. Don't look at pictures, or how it compares to foliage, it ain't about how OUR eyes see it. Look at predators, they are shades of greys, blacks, and browns, no greens. And they are extremely camoflauged. THAT alone explains everything.
And NO camo is effective moving. Limited movement is key above everything else.
Most camos are marketed to fool the consumer, more than anything.
