Hello everyone! I've started a new channel called "Roar!" where I take on challenges and push myself out of my comfort zone.
You can check it out here: ua-cam.com/users/roarrawr
how many drums do you need on stage ?
Slipknot: yes
Glos narodu if you have more drummers than members of all the bands on the tour you should be set
All of them
This is why I do percussion ensembles with meh school band. We used buckets.
3
Lol
“Everyone is a metalhead, they just don’t know it yet.”
Yeah
True i only found out last year when i came onboard a cargo ship and the captain was blasting Sabaton and Rammstein and thats when i found out i was a metalhead.
Ehh some people will just never get into it
I agree i didn't know i was a metalhead until last year
I would give this comment a like, but I see it is perfectly set at 666.... I will not disturb such perfection.
*I think Beth is the only person in history to ever said that Corey sings like a puppy*
How dare she
To think I started making sounds as a kid and dog sounds and now I can make myself do screaming a lot it works cartoons work as well 😂
Sometimes he does sound like a puppy😂😂
@captain carson i'm glad
Hes fine with it ;)
When Chris was the one doing the growls to preserve Corey's voice.
As good as Corey is, he sounded a bit off at the start. Absolutely fine, but when I heard Chris doing the screams in the chorus, it was pretty obvious he was handling some of them to give Corey a break. Such is metal.
I noticed that too. Not all of it, but a lot of it
Sounds awful, glad he's gone.
Emperor paulputine, it's just because he's wearing a mask
@@CommieCrab WTF Chris screams are some of the best metal has ever seen!!
I'm a simple man. I see Slipknot, I click.
Sameee
word
Agreee
I search Slipknot, and I click all of it.
im a simple woman i see slipknot i click
The benefits of having a 3 foot thick neck is complete control and no worries of breaking anything
Lol. He does have a huge neck
But he broke his neck
bliind.expo. Yes he did we saw they after his surgery with the neck brace still on ! I have seen him with stone sour also !
He also didn't even realize he broke it, I'd say that says a lot about his neck.
@David Campbell sounds rough. My cousin rolled his semi and walked away from it. After they got him to the hospital, he had huge cuts on his face and skull, they found out his neck and back were broke in 3 spots in total. He had to be in a Halo for a while. It was rough
I love how vocal coaches are slowly being turned to heavy metal by us metalheads.
Also how they get scared at first and end up loving it (most of the time)
I am patiently waiting for one of them to do a deftones song...
If only more people would give it ago. I bought my kids up on Alternative, rock & metal. It makes me soooo proud to hear them sing along to what I play.
I absolutely love it!!
heh get scared heh
Alexis Mol-Hdz me too. There are some fantastic singing out there in the wide wide world of METAL🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
She is the only vocal coach reactor I've seen who actually breaks down the vocals instead of just reacting to them.
Corey Taylor: "You'll realize I'm not your devil..."
Beth Roars: "I love it, it's so refined"
Corey: "I'M NOT YOUR DEVIL ANYMORE!!!"
Beth: "yet terrifying..."
beth roars "i wish i could sing like that"
me "your name is literally roars" lol
"Refined, yet terrifying"
That description of Corey's voice is perfect for Slipknot as a whole.
Corey*
@@gonzaloalderete2535 *Corey Taylor
And a neck. Don't forget the neck.
LM D Corey didn't sell his soul to the devil. He sold his neck.
*#8
Im extremely impressed by Chris's backup vocals.
Fun fact: when Slipknot toured Australia in 2008 with Machine Head, my wife threw her spare bra on the stage at the end of the Slipknot set and Clown put it on while Sid played with the cups. Good times.
talk about a story to tell to your grandkids
This makes me so proud to be Australian 🤣🤘
Sounds australian to me
Now compare this to his last Rock am Ring concert from 3 or 4 days ago. Since he quit smoking his vocal healed a lot and is more powerful.
I wanted to like your comment but it was @ 66 so I didn't wanna ruin a good thing lol
J D your shy of one 6 so it’s pointless should’ve tried to get it to 69
@@nateklug5933 True....my bad.
Fuck yeah. I was there and it was bloody insane!
I didn't know this! Awesome to hear!
For someone who wouldn’t seem to be interested, your appreciation for Cory Taylor was actually pretty satisfying
I was thinking the exact same thing
*corey
Xander Visser I was about to say that 😁
I mean. Corey Taylor ain't a bad looking guy. He sexy. No homo
Corey
i love how the metal community always raid this type of channels and even the creators loves it. Are we reviving metal with this?
Metal never needed reviving. We're just gathering the masses.
Metal never died
I dunno, maybe not this one but it seems to me Ive never seen a channel like this that says the music is bad. They get paid to "like" everything.
@@Baka_Oppai that's a good point, I never saw it from that perspective, I have seen channels that listen to Metal and they say "interesting but not my thing", I cant name one from the top of my head doe
Hel yeah!
then she realize that the one who screamed is chris not corey
Lanz Zoid was Chris* lol
To be fair, Corey did take the bridge. Just sounded like Chris was taking some of the load off of Corey, his voice sounded a bit rough at the start (I mean that relative to his "normal" voice).
chris screams to reinforce corey's that makes it sound more powerful just like when singers use other singers in a chorus
You should listen to Corey’s acoustic performance of Snuff.
This
YES! Or Bother. The crowd is just insane.
YES!
Yep agreed!
Yes!
Cory Taylor’s voice so angelic!!!! Try any song from Iowa album
Oh God oh fuck
Lmao
Im quite partial to the self-titled album. But Iowa has some iconic songs as well.
Plague lol
Disasterpiece is such a beautiful song
And now that he stop smoking his voice sounds better then ever. IMO
He even said in an interview that stopping smoking is the biggest reason his range and tonal control improved
Same reason Axl Quit .
Recabite Jehonadab Axl really needs a voice in his age and his past years of singing. Eek.
“He just sings like this and then goes... rahhh.”
Beth ROARS.
His voice has matured even more recently. The acoustic version of Snuff is GORGEOUS. So emotional
Not matured, but healed
Makes me cry every time.
@@EiferBrennan omg same
@@DryTEKGI voices mature... James Hetfield prime example
Im not into that soppy shit they do, but dead memories is fine
I like how most of the people in the comments are people, including me, who see a slipknot video, watch it, and request more
Why?
Beth: the set is really cool, I love this
Beth's face: *absolute terror*
Beth:"look how cool that is, the FIRE!"
Butthead:"Settle down Beavis"
🤣😂
Best comment I've seen in a long time. I applaud you!
Haahahahahahaahahahaha
Very nice
Perfect kkkk
I read that in butthead's voice
Thx for slipknot. Maybe more? Vermillion pt2.
omg yes
Such a good song
For sure this one.
Please. Yes.
Or both parts
One thing I have always appreciated about Corey Taylor's vocals is that he retains so much punch and clarity even with his distorted vocals.
Corey Taylor has one of the most powerful voices I've ever heard!
" I just wanna be there", Beth my dear we all just wanna be there:)
hoho! i will be there in 3 months wooooooo
My little sister went and seen them without me when they were in Mountain View a few months ago. I’m still pissed lol.
Check out Stone Sour if you like to hear more of Coreys clean vocals.
beth already uploaded a video for stone sour's 'song #3' a few months back...
@@godscoldhands1868 Thanks, didn't know that
@@mr.september2648 - you're welcome.!
Corey Taylor is one of the best voices in the business!!
Mr. September what a Skeletal wreck of a man this is..
I would love to see you review Serj Tankian of System of a Down. His range is over 4 octaves and he does a lot with his voice.
@Just Jeff It's Rains of Castamere
The best part of this reaction is your genuine glee. Watching you more-or-less giggle and wiggle at 5:59 was just about the cutest thing I've ever seen...I could totally see you at a metal concert.
Corey Taylor is one of the best, well-rounded, quality singers in a long time.
I prefer StoneSour, but SlipKnot are amazing.
Snuff is a pretty good song from slipknot if you haven't heard it. It's a very tame song and reminds me alot of StoneSour's calmer stuff.
Uau. First time ever anyone said that. History on the making
Nah I prefer slipknot
To me both are good, Corey is still a good singer and idc of what u think so i'm not here to argue just sayin that i love their songs that's all.
Had to click on this one immediately, you should definitely react to more of Corey's stuff.
@Peter Lustig hahahahahahahahahaha you definitely know nothing dude.
She did a video on stone sour already
“Joey” HAHAHHA GTFO bro
@Peter Lustig Hey Pete, Just say I'm an idiot a billion times.. Singer can't sing?? Pop??? Your a 1st class dumbass my friend.. Corey Taylor is Legend!
@Peter Lustig you do know Joey left the band like 5 years ago right?
As for them being a "pop" band.... They are evolving with their age and have grown up a lot since the early days.
Not every song needs to sound like Disasterpiece...
i like how you genuinely enjoyed his talent. you can appreciate what he can do both clean and scream even if its not your taste
Great song great breakdown. I learn something new about vocals in pretty much every one of your videos. Props to all the fans out there picking such wicked singers for her to analyze as well. Love that she always finds something nice to say about everybody and tends to critique rather than criticize if she does have any additions. Teachers like you are the best to learn from
I'm a simple man, I see a beautiful redhead who loves Slipknot, I click.
😂😂👆
Ahh a man of culture
You really are a simple man aha
I love Beth's instructional nature, her reaction videos, her singing videos... and low key gotta admit she's the hottest chick on UA-cam
I see you are a man of culture as well :)
This video is also a testament to Chris Fehn’s scream, as he is the one doing the chorus.
I love how your willing to watch any kind of music and can see talent no matter where it comes from
This was one of the best concert/festival I’ve ever been to!!! So glad you chose this!
Amazing reaction. I love the amount of detail you give. Will you please react to their new single unsainted?
I totally think you have to do Stone Sour: Bother
The way Corey sings that song is chilling.
They are AMAZING live. The whole place rocks and the energy is awesome.
Man, I love how you get so excited.
Vocal coach videos- guilty pleasure
Slipknots- always a pleasure
A gorgeous redhead doing a vocal coach video of slipknots.... my new fave thing! Beth you’re stunnin
She's a wildling
Thirsty much?
I agree she's beautiful!
Have a drink first dude!
I’m not questioning your choice of well- saying that.
react t the new song unsainted¡ :3
Also agree it's amazing
But not the Jimmy Kimmel one
Gabriel Hernandez anything but jimmy kimmel
Corvo penumbra Have they done a live version yet?
Drunkinhobo 2003666 yes. As of know they’ve done 5 live shows in Europe.
I absolutely love your appreciation for Corey Taylor's vocals. So many people just hear the screaming or deep tones and ignore it. Thank you for showing how much you love his singing!
What a great reaction vid Beth ya so much fun
I loved that you were actually into this. Especially when they started the song again when it sounded like it was over. Great shows by you and them!
"Gentle" Lol I love it! And yes these guys are AMAZING live. Great reaction🤘🤘
Will be seeing them in August.
I love watching these videos and learning little things my favorite singers do that I would of never noticed without the aid of these videos! Good Job!
You need to see them live! Its really crazy, you will never forget it. And... the best and nicest crowd you will meet...
Sound City Soundtrack (feat. Corey Taylor, Dave Grohl, Rick Nielsen, et al) - From Can to Can't
OH MY GOD YES! She has to hear that one.
This track is just sublime 👌🏻
My favorite part about Corey Taylor is his harmony then just comes in and thrashes the vocals. Guy is a genius. Along side with Maynard , Corey are my all time favorites.
I’m so happy I came across your channel. Made my day
Seriously, you’re a great vocal coach! I love how you explain the techniques and all! You make music more enjoyable!
Thank you! X
I've seen Slipknot twice and met the band once, it's such an amazing performance.
Oh please react to Slipknot - Disasterpiece live at London 2002
All time great performance
Disasterpiece in specific
Vishnu Amrith song has no clean vocals. lol
Hell yeah
And gently!!! Just amazing
The way she described his notes and singing was super satisfying because thats exactly how i wish i could explain this gentlemans talented and amazing voice.
I love how she has an open mind to any genre.
Holy jeebus! I never thought I'd see the day when Beth would react to Slipknot!😍 Thank you so much!
I love the technicaly clean and brutal Metalsound together Witz Corys Voice!
your so adorable when when he screams you are just so happy about this and i love it
I saw them a week ago. Fucking amazing live. Corey’s come a long way with his voice.
thanks for the slipknot reaction. React to more songs by them, maybe vermilion pt 2
Pt.2 is a softer version of pt.1 but they're the same
Beth into Slipknot?! Hell yeah! 🤘🏽😈🤘🏽
Honestly, you're my favorite from the 3 vocal teachers I watch! I like the variety and of course Tool 😂
I see another man of culture. (Pfp) spiral the f out my guy
"I'd love to see them live" is what I said when I started to listen to slipknot, only to realize they hadn't toured since 2009. Then they toured. Then I saw them live. I wouldn't like to see them again. I NEED to see them again. 10/10 would recommend, definitely worth the week of neck pains.
loved how you started to move your head as the drums kiked off, shows that its inside you.
Your happy reactions and faces you make legit make me happy!
You're way too adorable, even more when you compare you with the song you're watching in this video hahaha
I love how she's so unbiased about this. Most people don't be as open as her. She judges his vocals for the vocals and not the type of music he sings. Perfect
Corey Taylor is one of the BEST(imo THE best) in Rock period.
You can literally see her falling in love with the knot .... I remember that feeling many years ago .... respect 🤘
Slipknot is coming to the UK for 2020. Go see then live. You wont regret it.
Workout this year ... trust me. You will need it. 🤣🤣
I'm gonna see them in munich😍😍😍😍
Going to see them in the Netherlands :D
I see them every time they roll through st. Louis. Awesome shows.
Just saw them last Sunday at knotfest
you should react to Slipknot Unsainted!!
And then psych-fucking-social!
Eyeless
I love how you don't focus on the "mistakes". Most of the vocal coach reactions are only about that. And you enjoy every music genre, so cute
I love how much you love Slipknot :) The joy on your face is so genuine.
Finally some Corey Taylor. His range of singing and songs are insane.
It's awesome to hear you say you use to listen to Slipknot 👍
The effort these guys put into their craft is insane!
Glad you enjoy slipknot. Corey can sing and growl and scream so well. He's a legend
the screaming in devil in i was by Chris Fehn (thanks THE MUDDING GAMER for pointing the error out)
Well, at least the muffled screams in the chorus. Other screams are Corey’s.
M8 it’s devil in I
@@jacob_the_honda_snake nah man it's the Devil and I, didn't you hear about the really super dark version of the King and I? :'D

I LOVE your Reactions always 😊 but THIS was awesome and so cool you were into them in your late teens and now, recognizing all the nuances of his voice, the band, the Set... 💪🎤🖤
"The Fire ,the set ohh I love it so much"..Beth you are a Gem! Thank you for your vids. :)

That was Chris's voice. Not Corey's

You should react to Corey at Rock Am Ring this year. He was phenomenal
Slipknot shows are absolutely amazing. The energy, the intensity is just so addictive. So far have been to 4 of their gigs, and when I can afford too again I will go to more :D
That feeling when you fall in love with someone's vocal power, I'm talking to you Miss Teacher. It doesn't matter what style of music moves you, when you hear octaves that truly hit you, it's the best connection to music you can have. I loved watching you get goosebumps, even though you didn't say how you got them. Keep up the great videos!
Slipknot is life 💀💀🐐
React to Usainted now 😏

And Solway firth
coreys voice is gentle when he wants it to be but he can make his voice terrifying when he wants to he can do anything with his voice
Hearing someone who has a unbiased view break down slipknots style and Corey’s style of singing is actually so satisfying but also you kinda go “damn these guys were good, but now they even better!” Thank you so much!
I grew up 30 min from Des Moines and have watched them grow from the beginning with Anders as the lead singer. They have came so far from the small clubs I originally saw them in. One of the best bands I've ever seen live.
Yes! CMFT is the man! Hail the Great Big Mouth and long live the ‘Knot!!!
Manager: how many lights?
Slipknot: yes
Slipknot is one of the best live performance bands I have ever seen in my life. Reading, PA 2022!!!!!!!!
