Like this comment if you’ve ever been given a “Hey Hun” pitch. Trying to prove a point here 😂
@Haley Beck- Virginia Realtor RUN!!! 😂 Also, happy early birthday! 🥰
Got one just this week. Excited to reconnect with a friend from high school. Then she just wanted me to join her team.
@@MaggieMumblesThings ugh this is honestly the WORST when you think they’re reaching out with good intentions and then you realize…
Wish I could hit that thumbs up multiple times and I’m from New Zealand!
I’ve gotten hey girl messages on IG, FB, freaking LinkedIn (I had just lost my job from Covid, it was really annoying), my mom’s friend pitched me, my coworkers pitched me monat and Arbonne…..🙄🙄🙄🙄
She said, "Do you expect to be at the top of a company on your first day of work when you get a new job?" No, but I expect to get paid for my first day.
YES! 👏🏼
The ironic thing is that these huns pitch it as "be the CEO of your own business"
@@lantruong Yesss and its all so untrue!!
these people have been so brainwashed they forget that regular jobs don't require you to be at the top to get paid....
THANK YOU
I wish these people's pitches would stop calling me "Bitch". Or treating their potential recruits like they are losers. What a bully.
Yes, because I’m DEFINITELY signing up with a stranger that called me b*tch. That’s who I want to lead /teach me! 🙃
Seems like a foundation for success 😂
Exactly! Imagine you walk into a shop to buy something and are treated in such an aggressive way, or at a job interview! Only in network marketing.
@@luizaviktualia It's like she tried to use the 'aggressive positivity' trick, but her own frustration with the business model tripped her up. By all means, aggressive positivity can work really well, but it has to be executed well or it'll come off as bullying instead.
She said that in place of “sis/babe/girl”
Agree oh so much!
I am so sick of people telling me I hate my 9-5. I love my job, my boss appreciates me, and I get a raise every year. Thank you for always pointing out that most of us do our jobs because it makes us happy!
Lol, I looove my job.
It pays for health insuance AND retirement?!?! The huns could never.
I think that’s very typical in the American mentality. A job = making money and you do it because you need it rather than you want it. And that’s not always the case. Just like you, I love my 9-5. Managed to studied what I love and don’t regret it at all!
I hate my job and make better money dating old men as a side hustle but I'm not gonna join an MLM about it
I love my job too. My co-workers are amazing people and I am a better person for spending 8+ hours a day with them. My bonuses are great, there are loads of perks and I work in a place hundreds, if not thousands of people would give their left arm to work. Don't get me wrong, I have told the top boss at my work (to his face) that he doesn't pay me enough. He will never pay me enough. Just by the nature of capitalism he will never give me the money I deserve. He could give me £1k an hour and I'd be like: "I want £1.25k, because I KNOW that means you're making £1.5k off of me.". Which he acknowledges. So we get on well because neither of us try and pretend it's something it's not.
What kind of job do you have that you enjoy it? Genuinely curious cause I need a serious career change!
If I could take away free speech for ONE phrase it would be "Network marketing is responsible for making the most millionaires"
The way she was determined to actually USE that spilled rejuvenique oil on her hair and skin instead of just cleaning it up and marking it up as a loss really says a lot about Monat’s amazing comp plan, in my opinion. Girl just buy another bottle and move on. Surely shelling out $100 is NOTHING in comparison to that 5+ figure a month income.
I'm grossed out when I moisturize my feet after walking on my bathroom floors. I should make sure to put on lotion before I actually step out of the tub, but I don't. I do wash my hands after touching my feet. I couldn't imagine rubbing stuff on my body, particularly near my face, that I had wiped off the floor.
That is one of the weirdest videos. I wonder why Monat (or any MLM) is okay with that embarrassing post by a representative. 🤔
Unless that floor is super clean shes rubbing all that dirt and shit into her pores and hair
Well seeing that its not out of the realm of possibility that her kid peed on the floor, id say its not lol
Well imagine if all doctors/engineers/teachers/
I have a 5am -3pm job at a hospital, I'm a phlebotomist. I draw blood ALL DAY LONG... and u actually love my job. I get paid well, have great benefits and I get to help people. I love my job, even on bad days
Calling ppl the B word is a real good sells tactic.
I’m just here imagining my 9-5 bosses having meetings with us in our conference room and calling us all bitches… 😂
Me: “I’m on the fence about joining this “business”.”
Hun: “Do it BITCH!”
Me: “Well SIGN. ME. UP!
😂
It’s so sad that she feels like she has to push products when she’s clearly in pain and literally just had a baby. “You control your life and your schedule” 🙄
If she was an acquaintance of mine, bombarding me with sales pitches, I’d block her
She came off as genuinely dangerous, and she legitimately scared me in the previous clip.
I love clocking in a 9am and clocking out in 5pm and go on to actually relax and enjoy my life with the security that I just did something that guaranteed me a salary, health insurance, and financial security.
I like my job. I love my bosses and yes I like schedules. I also like money, vacation time and health insurance. Thanks hun!! 😂😂
Are you sure? Because I think you would really like being in an MLM more!
@@HannahAlonzo hahahah no security and working 24/7? Sure sign me up!!
You like health insurance also??!! I thought I was the only one ;)
🙌🏼
Why is it that whenever Huns start a pushy sales pitch it transforms into a patronizing inspirational speech and then morphs a bullying rant about other people's "laziness/hating"? The whiplash is *insane.*
It honestly always follows this trend 😂 one thing leads to another and pretty soon they’re all worked up
the cycle of abuse speed run
I was unemployed for 11 months…not once did I wish to join an mlm. I just got the job offer today for an 8-4 job and I am SO excited to get back to a job that has a set schedule and bosses. I think they completely forget that people actually LIKE this lifestyle.
Congratulations from an internet stranger! 😊
@@SallidrasArtStudio Oh thank you!! Yeah it was a long time coming. I technically finished the hiring process in July, BUT they couldn't start us just yet so I waited 3.5 months for a start date, which is 2 weeks away. I appreciate it!
Congratulations. I'm trying to start a new career hunt, but currently am doing fulfilling work; I just don't know how much longer I can physically do it. It is exciting thinking of the day I can start something new.
@@joyfuljaj I completely understand you! I’m still young & most of my previous jobs required a lot of movement and being on my feet. I LONGED for stability and a chance to sit on my rear 🤣 That is what this job will give me. You’ll find something! The onboarding (hiring) process for this job actually took FOREVER, and I almost gave up on expecting to get an official offer. Moral of the story - Don’t give up. (:
@@KaeliB1 thanks for your reply. Interesting that the hiring process took forever for mine too (about 15 years ago) because of some stuff at the agency that had nothing to do with me. I had given up on the job and was ready to look elsewhere. I keep reminding myself that when I originally found this job, I had no idea what I wanted to do or that this job even existed. A conversation with a coworker who transferred into my section only briefly while she was waiting to be hired by someone else, made me think about whether I would be able to handle this until I retire. I like the idea of not being at a desk all day, but my job involves travel as well as movement of heavy equipment that is getting more draining daily. Sometimes I love it, and sometimes I just make it through. I'm in my early 40s and realized if I want to change jobs I need to make a move before I'm in my 50s. I also need a set schedule, an office to actually go to, and supervisors who deal with the stressful oversight!
Your intro is EXACTLY why I keep coming back to your channel. We can "call out" behavior while still treating these women as people.
I LOVE that! Yes!!! 🥰
Yes!!!
Why was she staring at the "pee," waiting for it to evaporate!?!
Yuck 😂
The fact that that poor mother felt she needed to apologize for not being on social media over the weekend while she was GIVING BIRTH!!!! 😭
I don't understand where these people get that people that work "9-5" are inherently broke and miserable. I work 9-5 Monday to Friday with zero education minus my certifications my company paid for and make 6 figures. They're so blind it's sad.
14:09 _"So what are you doing standing there and still doing it?"_
Ever hear of rent? Bills? Food? Clothing? Most people I know can't just *bounce* out of their jobs on a whim without some serious consequences.
I don’t love my job? Gosh, I thought I loved being a yoga teacher. I thought I loved getting to help people with their stress, pain, health, fitness and peace of mind. I thought I loved my flexible schedule and being appreciated by the people I work for and with. I thought I loved getting paid to do one of my favorite things in the world, but I guess I hate it. Damn.
Oh, you definitely hate it. Try an MLM instead!
@@HannahAlonzo I’m diving into my dms as we speak - thanks for helping me see the light 😉.
I am a civil servant for an international administration. This is the job I have wanted to do all my life and I love it.
If she's so successful, why is she working 3 other jobs ?
Ah yes, nothing makes me want to join someone’s team more than being repeatedly and passively aggressively called “b!tch”. It’s actually one of my biggest pet peeves when girls call each other that.
I'm a veteran public school teacher. I worked through the COVID pandemic. In Texas. I'd still rather be doing this than anything MLM-related.
You just had your baby. Spend time with the baby. That shows one of the big problems of MLMs, the fact that you have to work 24/7.
How does she thinks that adressing the audience as "bitch" is gonna attract someone to join?!!
Girly managed to beat the US maternity leave policy, which was already horrendously bad to the point of being inhumane in some states/companies
So excited to see more from you! You’re my favorite anti-MLM personality because you are by far the gentlest and kindest when dealing with these huns. You don’t make fun of them and stick strictly to the facts, and yet you keep me totally entertained! Thanks for your good work and for your kindness! Keep it up!
This means the world Yolanda, thank you!! 🥰
She does these so well! She’s very thorough and entertaining. I don’t mind dragging them but whatever she’s doing, she’s doing a great job!☺️💯
I also hate 9-5 jobs, but that's why I am a paramedic. I hate how these MLM's always make it sound like other jobs aren't hard work. I work 12-14 hour shifts, commute 1.5hrs one way, and regularly workout and study/attend courses to keep up with latest demands of the job and advances in medicine.
Let’s hypothetically assume that everyone hates their normal job and has to join an MLM - the world collapses, there is no one out there to produce your Monat or whatever MLM products. We’re all just sitting there with our perfect hair and watch the apocalypse. 😅😅😅 Sorry for the crazy irony but that’s how it ends if everyone in the world except them just hates their job and their life.
Best comment I've seen today. Hilarious!
and everyone is on their phone, love bombing each other, claiming things about their shampoos, or oils or whatever, and there are continues zoom calls lol
Okay
I do hate my job
But I always remember that it could be worse
I could be stuck in an MLM
😂
Hi!! I work a 9 to 5 and I absolutely love my job. I love my supervisor, I love what I do, I love all the PTO I get, and I love the flexibility my workplace allows me. It's hybrid so I only go into the office twice a week, sometimes less, and I get fully reimbursed for any and all travel, whether near or far. I get free work merchandise, I often get free, nice lunches, and my employers check in with me and urge me to take time off when I'm sick. You couldn't pay me to work in an MLM where I'd get none of that.
I work a "9-5" and I love what I do, I went to school for Cyber Security and I work as a CyberSecurity Engineer and specialize in Threat Hunting. I love what I do, its great!
Preying on New Mothers is just f*ed. As a new(er) mama, I truly feel sad and embarrassed for the gal who was pitching her Monat products 1 day post-partum.
But this brings up an interesting point- If she had a "traditional 9-5" job, the ones we all apparently hate, it's likely she'd have some traditional maternity leave. So in essence, she HAS to keep pushing products and recruiting. I can't imagine Monat pays her to rest, recoup, and bond with her baby. The irony.
I love how they all say people who work for other people are miserable when I tried to work for myself and not having a schedule just made me feel like I was constantly supposed to be working. I work an 8 to 4 job now and feel so much better enjoy going to work every day
I work from home, in a corporate job. My son is 11, and on spectrum - he really doesn’t get when I’m home working and don’t spent time with him if he happens to be off of school. He’s said to me a few times how sad he is that I “don’t want to” spend time with him. It’s really heartbreaking, and kids really don’t get it.
I work at a supermarket and I honestly enjoy my job. I stock shelves and I've been doing it for 15 years now. I get fantastic benefits (4 weeks paid vacation, paid sick time, 401K, pension, health insurance) and there's no way I throw all that and the stable income away to work an MLM.
Nurse here, I work nights, and I absolutely love it.
Also, that lady putting that oil substance all over her body gave me the icks. Massively.
I work a 9-5 and i absolutely love my job. I went to school for 5 years to be able to do what i do now. Why do they assume everyone hates their job?
I love my 8:00am-4:30pm with an hour lunch and 2 days of vacation a month (perks of 20+ years...we get an extra .25 day every 5 years) and 1 day sick leave every month. And a boss and colleagues who appreciate me and work that isn't the same thing day in and day out.
I love working from home and yes I like my job! I also like working hours. I need a clear definition between work and fun hours.
I work a dreaded corporate 9-5 job and not only do I love it but they offer up to a year paid parental leave. It's so sad to feel the need to work the literal day after giving birth.
I mean I am not really being fulfilled in my 9-5 but I love my regular pay check and my skill set and my team and my health insurance! I’ve been a contractor, I’ve worked for myself before. I’ll take the 9-5 any day.
Whenever she got on the floor to get the oil all I was thinking was “are you not embarazzed? This is really embarazzing” 😂😂😂
Also I just got off my WFH 9-5 and I’m not miserable at all 😂😂
I especially love "opportuntities" that provide "incentitives".
About the girl who says “who actually likes their 9-5 who actually enjoys being on a set schedule and bossed around” LOL my uplines in the MLM I was in 4 yrs ago were wayyyy needier than my 9-5 bosses. At my 9-5 I go to work every day and just get stuff done on my own. My upline/s were constantly texting “you going to be on the call tonight at 9?” (Yes, 9 PM lol) or asking if we’d (my mom and me) would be going here and there, to the conferences, etc.
So yeah whateverrrrr… knowing dang good and well you can’t just do whatever and whenever in an MLM like they like to advertise that you can 🙄
Such a good point!!!
i love my job! side note: did anyone else notice that she actually poured some oil out of the bottle as well in the clip? so…..did it really all go all over the floor or was she just making it up….they care so little about the truth.
That’s a really interesting observation that I didn’t notice at first!
I work in the funeral industry, and even though it can be incredibly hard, it’s extremely rewarding and honoring to be a part of so… oh, and did I mention that and make a livable wage so that’s a bonus
I love the 9-5 rhetoric with the huns, I don't make a lot of money (I just started my career after college) but I absolutely LOVE my 9-5 corporate job and wouldn't give it up for anything!
Omg I recently found your channel and have been binging your videos. Just started watching this, and you said 10k subscribers and look at the growth, within 2 years! Go girllll
I enjoy my job, honestly. I'm a technician so learning about the machines is interesting and fixing them is so satisfying. The work environment is chill and I get great pay & benefits. I'd rather be at work than at home any day. Working from home would be a nightmare for me
I love my job! I am a 2nd grade teacher and work from m-f 7:30 to 3:30. My job offers me lunch, all holidays and a month of vacation every year. I also get healthcare and bonuses. Plus, working with kids is the best! ❤
And notice that recruiting others is the most out of your control as you can’t tell people what to do, yet she goes balls to the wall with you can make as much money as you want to. Really? Those two dots don’t connect.
Then constantly messing with their hair drives me batty!!!!! Lol besides that, congrats on 10k girl!! You so deserve it!
SO TRUE, ME TOO! And thank you Kristy 🥰
I’m an architect, I’ve been one for 30 years, I work 8am - 4pm every weekday, and I love my job
I love my 8-5. I’m not even kidding. It provides structure to mine and my family lives. I have a steady pay check and benefits. I have a 5 and 3 year old and I get plenty of time with them as well. My job is incredibly accommodating about my family and putting them first. They respect me and I respect them. It is great.
I have ADHD and I'm on the spectrum. I actually love having a 9 to 5. I love my routine and structure. I have having clear work time and space. I hated working from home during lockdown.
same here!
“excuse me if i had a dollar for every network marketer slid into my dms i would be making more money than 99% of network marketers” 😂😂😂 true
I do love my job. It constantly changes, it keeps me engaged, it gets me out of the house, it gives me a chance to feel like an individual instead of just "mom".
As someone who finally has a 9-5 (I have escaped retail hell) I have never been happier 😂😂
MLM huns totally protecting when they are constantly saying nobody likes their job
It’s so funny cause I’m a nurse in a blood donation clinic, so I take blood from people all day everyday. I used to work in childcare and working in a school would be my literal hell. I do not like children at all so I chose a career that has little to no interaction with children.
Oh my gosh you and I are total opposites in that sense 😂 so much respect! 🙌🏼
Oh the second hand embarrassment I felt watching that lady on the floor trying to retrieve the oil... oh my lord 😳
I love my dreaded corporate job! Great coworkers, amazing boss, I get a raise every year, I have benefits. I have ADHD and autism, and I NEED the routine and structure having this kind of job provides. And I'd argue that I have MORE time freedom in my "corporate job" than these MLM huns do. I luckily work from home, and every minute leading up to clocking in at 9am, and after clocking out at 6pm is mine. No hustling all hours of the day, no working on vacation or from the toilet or during a funeral.
Huns also like to prey on “unemployable” people too. I’m a felon /recovering addict from way back and believe me it’s hard to get a good job…but these Monat Huns tried to pitch this to me as a “second chance” and how many other lives I can help.
Basically they wanted me to recruit all my 12 step sponsees…that way I could pave the way for criminals to get a second chance.
My favorite part about your content and channel is how genuine and non bias you are. You present the facts and let the videos speak for themselves. I just am here for the positivity and kindness that seems to radiate from you. ❤️
Thank you so much Jessica!!
I’m a draftsperson and I have always loved my job. There are moments when the company was sold that was stressful, but the people I have worked with for the last 17 years made the stress more tolerable. I also felt very underpaid, so when I finally spoke to the manager about my potential low salary, I found out I was 28% underpaid and was given that raise! I didn’t have to work more except my normal 9-5 to get that raise.
I LOVE MY JOB! I am an ESL teacher and have been a teacher for 25 years. I love it so much! My husband is both military and civilian police and he also loves his work, the military more so that civilian but he is so proud to do both. We make a good income, have two grown sons that are simply amazing and travel all over the world. We love what we do!
LOL! I woke my husband up laughing at that "YIKES!!!"
Well, Gee Wiz, I thought I was happy being retired after working for over 35 years but I guess I better join an MLM...right away.
Not gonna lie, I DON'T like my job and I do NOT make enough money, but thanks to this channel I have realized that joining an MLM wouldn't solve my problems. Thanks Hannah
Am I the only one that was kind of wishing her kid really was running around without a diaper??? 🤷🏼♀️ Regarding the first girl, I truly can’t imagine why people don’t want to join her team, her sparkling personality is super endearing 🫤
“YIKES” 🤣
Not only did the second lady take a bath in her floor oil she decided to record it for all of us to see 🤦🏾♀️
ETA: The postpartum lady! Omg! I pray she isn’t breastfeeding her newborn. Everything she is consuming will be transferred to her newborn. The last thing I was thinking about as soon as I got home from the hospital was recording a video to promote a product 🥺
Congrats on 10k 🎉
LOVE my 9-5. Both my CEO and manager are amazing, and i know if anything goes wrong with the company, it's not my problem because that's the point of having a person at the top... he's the one that has to answer to ppl, even if one of the regular employees is responsible. We just get checks every pay period
I absolutely love my job. I work for a nonprofit, my boss is a good friend, and I feel fulfilled by our work every single day.
I did corporate 9-5 and hated it. Not for me.
Instead I started my own business and I make the CEO rich 🤑
I wish i could respond directly to the "you must hate your job" lady. Getting bossed around? Oh sweetie, maybe if all you're qualified for is McDonalds, and you're lazy, then yes you'll be told what to do. Personally I work overnights in the nursing field as a certified nursing aid in school to move up to certified medication aid, soon to be a nurse, and with a job (that i must hate, right?) That is putting me through school.
Enjoy your commentary, stay awesome Hannah.
As someone who lives day to day doing the same thing, the worst thing is if something suddenly changes. I like monotony and if I want something to change, I'd do it.
I really don't understand why people hate on the 9-5 routine all the time. I'm a stay at home mom and we thrive on routine! Now if only I could walk through a door and leave behind my work for a few hours 😅
They say they hate 9 to 5 but my family was very fortunate to hear from me on day 1 home with my newborn son!! My 9 to 5 had 6 weeks before they would expect hear from me💯💯
Why is she always calling me a bitch? 😭
Your voice is so soothing. I wish you did audiobooks.
I had the same thought ❤
Yay! I'm so happy for you! You are such an amazing creator and you deserve all the growth 🥰
So sweet, thank you Lizzie! 🥺
The oil on the floor!! I can't believe what I just saw. 😂 Also, that just shows me that the "liquid gold" is so damn expensive that you panic and scoop it up in desperation because that's so much money spilled!!!
I do like my job, I thrive in a schedule, so I love knowing when I start and stop and will have time off. Also, no manager has EVER yelled at me, called me bad words, or told me that things that happen to me personally don't matter. Also, I go to work every day that I am going to be the best I can be at my job, Iearn to get better.
I do love my job! It's only part time rn and only when I'm needed but I dream of the day when I have a schedule and work regularly
i'm going to uni to become a chemist bc i love the science. their notions that college degrees are useless forget to account for the fact that for a lot of people a college degree is the only thing that'll allow them to do what they love. i love working with stuff in the lab doing my little calculations and things, selling stuff to strangers sounds like a nightmare
I have just started watching this video (been binging for a couple of weeks), and Hannah has just reached 300 000 subscribers!! Whooo whooo! Well done @Hannah Alonzo!!❤❤❤
I am SO happy for you!
I love watching great creator's old videos where they are so excited about a small number of subscribers when they have way more now. Like, good job!
I am both happy and saddened to hear you also have emetophobia. I also suffer with extreme anxiety of throwing up and feeling sick so it is nice to know that I am not alone and it isn’t as ridiculous as it feels, but I am also so sorry that you have to deal with something that people truly don’t believe is a real problem!
Thank you for pointing out that wonderful truth about at the age of a child. Their perspective isn’t yay mommy’s doing what makes her happy, look how successful mommy is blah, blah blah. The only thing that matters to a child is that their mother is home with them. Yes that means that children in daycare feel the same way.
I LOVE my job. I work 4-6 hours a day 5 days a week, I choose what schedule I'd like and what vacation days I want. I get paid way more then I was used to in the past and we get health benefits. There ARE awesome occupations out there. Truly.
I did teacher training!! I quit because I hated it. Not the being with children but all the endless paperwork and constantly testing children and comparing them to each other.
The entire irony of all this there's actual people working for the company they are "business owners" of working that 9 to 5 job they love to hate on (ie their order is back ordered, warehouse workers, marketing etc)....so I'm at a loss for words here 🤣🤣🤣🤣 please make this make sense to all the mlm huns out there
Oh my gosh such a good point 😂
Congrats on 10K!! I’m not surprised at all! You are professional, articulate, and kind in your anti-MLM videos.
Thanks Hilary! ❤️
I love you 😂 because yes being a elementary teacher is my sleep paralysis demon, I’ll stick to health care!!
I agree with you completely Hannah-I work at a credit union and I LOVE my job-I wouldn’t give up the stability for anything-good salary, PTO, vacation, truly appreciative and support co-workers can’t beat it! 😁
