Musically talented, gorgeous, and down-to-earth...She's FABULOUS!!!😘
I know, it's almost weird that's she’s so down to earth! It’s so cool and such a turn on. I hope she never loses who she really is!
Tal is a great artist. I've been in the music game for over 50 years and artist's like Tal are very rare. Personality and talent. Keep up the good work Tal. Much respect. Los Angeles
Love, Love, Love Tal Wilkenfeld. Don't lose the accent gorgeous girl. Love your music.
Thanks for sharing! Very Interesting, meditation, eternity, open mind! Amazing hair, the best in the business! Every band needs a focused bassist/singer like Tal.
Congratulations on your new album release.
All the best, from Roger
Love Remains is an awesome album....she is a remarkable artist!!
Her debut album was released in 2007, entitled "Transformations". This is her first collection to feature her vocal talent.
what is your point? is she GREAT or not. i guess i should get both. do you agree?
musical al Dude, get a Spotify account, that's an all instrumental jazz record. No vocals at all. Way better than the milk toast she's bringing today.
@@robertsnyder1890 the point is the article says "Debut".
@@robertsnyder1890 The point is she already released her debut album. Do you know how to read?
Amen.
She is so gorgeous, and that hair!!!!!
What an AWESOME interview.
Interesting, informative, organic, real.
Thanks!!!
"I don't think there is a destination." Your moment of Zen.
Ima tattoo that somewhere
i was looking forward to hearing the music....damn
I m listening this album just over and over. I can't stop
What a fresh new sound she has created. I took it 'Hook Line and Sinker! "Tal,, you GO girl!" ; )
Tal Wilkenfeld, the star !
Great personality!! Great Talent!!! Come to London Ontario Canada!!!!
Such a relief to find talent, quality songwriting, great lyrics. A refreshing change from the force fed dribble we hear on the radio.
she's an amazing artist
Oh my i love her hair and bass playing
like an ANGEL.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🥰🥰🥰
I see negative comments about the interviewer, but his knowledge and enthusiasm is what it takes to get a good interview. Tal seems very comfortable here. Nice interview!
Excellent album! I finally got around to buying a copy. "Haunted Love" is simply amazing.
Agree. Best track on the album.
Beautiful, Talented Lady
Her voice is awesome!
It's not the destination, it's the journey. Love it.
I love her voice
she is so amazing talented
Tai.... Is so dope... Excited to hear more of the record..
Tal*
Aviv Kestin .... YES ! That IS her name.. INCREDIBLE. ! How did you "figure it out " ? & Just wondering why, In ( The comment section) Anywhere.. (( Some)) people feel like they've discovered the keys to, the Universe ! By REPEATING the name of... another commenter. ( It Had to be said )
@@soundpainter2590 had a bad day huh
Telly Swain YES !! I LOVE GOOD TAI FOOD !! BUT A bit hard to find UNREAL Tai food. Mmmm. Gui Woon Sen !
Aviv Kestin Yeah Actually recovering from.. Food poisoning ? I hope... Either that or I'm going to die in about 4 hours. @ least my Guitars & assorted Unobtainium should go to Someone who can Appreciate it. I have Unreal Security, PROPRIETARY & Referred to as, "Apparently Legal " by Gvt. Sorry, I clearly misunderstood your ( Correction). Thanks for being cool about it...
Of course you HAVE to fall in love with Tal for everything she is, does, and has done. But DUDE. I have to compliment you on your selection of excellent questions and remarks.
I agree, I wish he had asked her how she writes songs as a bassist ? I mean does she compose with a piano / guitar ? A good example is Paul McCartney. He writes most of his songs using a piano or guitar.
Tal has really grown up nice. wow.
Brilliant ! ! How can she fail ?
So very talented. She looks the same as she did when I saw her playing with Jeff Beck maybe 13-15 years ago. It was a long time ago anyway.
She's played bass with Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock and Jeff Beck. That would a life career for 99% of most artists.
Tal is a mega talent.
Bill burr brought me here. Saw her with Beck and was like WTF! SHE TOO YOUNG TO BE THIS GOOD!! But now I know her name.
Me too! It was crazy. I watched that talent emerge with Beck and Beck's approval of her solo, and then I was DONE! Huge fan!
Amazing story here about how her vocal album came together ("So I had sushi one day with everybody whose anybody and we all got together and cut these songs")
I just had to mention those blue shoes on a grown ass man. Reminds me of a kid that parents finally let him pick out his own clothes and failed the test.
😂 oh nooo
He's in New York
Incredibly talented and beatiful.amazing .
“everybody, make a ridiculous amount of noise” 😂
Gorgeous woman
Hipster Ringo you gotta ask and duck, ask and duck. Yours is the art of picking the planet and then letting them explore it.
IF THIS ISN'T THE GREATEST INTERVIEW EVER.... ( but it is... )
Its not just the destination its the points of interest (POI)
Come to India with your Band ft. Blake Mills :)
Gracias
Tal is such an intelligent talented musician. So down to earth and somehow manages to avoid all the hype. I believe her Australian background may assist her escaping the silly hype that can descend on a new player...
She's been around the block quite a bit actually. I wouldn't call her a new player anymore.
That gal is so down to earth!
Where did he get those shoes!? and what is he talking about. We could have learned so much more from this brilliant musician.
Tal's writing is abstract, technical with dimension with jazz flavor which separates her from all the rest. This perhaps attracts seasoned musicians to her talent.
I wish she could release another instrumental album. I love her Transformations album but I just can't get to appreciate Love Remains. It's muscially great but sounds very sad to me even though I don't understand all the lyrics (I'm not a native english speaker).
Agree. I like Transformations much more also.
Her voice IS haunting so that may be throwing you off a bit.
I thought her first time on a major stage was at the Beacon theater with the Allman Bros.
I’m ashamed to say I originally thought “ah so Jeff Beck’s got a bit of eye candy, how sad” , And then her solo just blew my fucking mind.
タルチャンええわ〰️❤️
The poor interviewer is trying very hard to ask the hard questions, the real music-based questions, trying to not be condescending, and not dwell too much on the Beck/Hancock/Shorter connection, and trying so hard to just let Tal be Tal . . . . but you can tell he's living this horrifying moment where he realizes he's talking more than she's talking, and he hates it.
Winston Guitar yeah I can see that. To add to his difficulties, I don’t think Tal is a very talkative person. There are ways to draw someone like that out. This just isn’t one of them. He’s not a bad interviewer, he just lacks a little experience.
@@panzerlieb Yah, I can imagine how I'd be interviewing Tal. I'd be too "worshippy" I'd just sit there and say, "Wow, I'm interviewing Tal Wilkenfeld."
super sexy Tal ... this aspect cannot be discarded... i admire her...no limits
Why is Charlie Puth interviewing her?
Your one beautiful and talented lady💞💐
I was interested in hearing about Tal and her personal music journey but the interviewer focused on names dropping and about her work with others.
That moment when you realize she's "of age". Whew, no more squirminess.
Tal is a phenom. Too bad she, and we, had to endure that interviewer.
For sure, he sucked.
She's terrific, interview was less than stellar.
Why does this interviewer think it's a competition for the olympic wintergames or so?.. It must be fun and true, that's all!.. And good, of course, what else!?.. How do you top that! What a silly question for a musician..
Tal is Carol Kaye your hero?
This was just too slick for my tastes, and scared me away almost instantly. I'd rather see a musician interview her (Rick Beato for example) as the focus here's waaay too fashionista for my tastes.
Yeah, Rick Beato would do a great job.
And what's w/the waving the arms around, & that Cork In A Blender thing he has going w/his head? And the strange emphasis in random syllables? Hey dink, whoever you are, you're interviewing HER. It's not about you. Master an instrument & go play w/every legend that didn't die in 1970, then it'll be about you. If I was in her chair, my first answer, no matter what the question, would be, "Staggering christ, dude, gack a rail of flake & calm down, or I'm going home. I feel wired just watching you."
Good interview but he could get off her knob for a sec. We all know she's great, you don't have to keep reminding us of that or who she's played with. Give us a good bio intro and talk about HER.
Ya... Agree w u
Is the one eye symbolism accidental or deliberate? This is a deal-breaker for me.
I have watched TV for over 35 years....so this interview is falling very flat for me. Tal is a high caliber musician. I need to hear her being interviewed by someone that understands what musicians want to know about her, her journey, her approach to composition and her background. So, I'm gone.
1) Shoes: No...no, no no. You're a big boy now...don't do that, Little Johnny.
2) Hair: Sexiest mane in the history of the Universe. Holy crap.
3) Pete "I Was Just Doing 'Research'" Townshend: "Would you like to come up to my place and see my etchings?"
4) Interview: Most boring interview in history since probably the last interview that guy did. ("What is that tangible difference...")
5) Her promoting album: "Is _this_ the kind of shit I'm gonna have to put up with doing this?"
6) Her peeps: "Yep."
Thanks Bill Burr.
with you on this man... Ol'Billy musician showed us this way lol
.... & Then its Over. Finally a potentially Great interview of the GREAT TAL ! One thing that's Sooo Obvious Especially, ( The Names, & by their statements) ( in other forums) aprox 94.997% of her fan base are Apparently DUDES Who... for Whatever reason... are Frustrated Music fans, who Haven't been Laid in quite a while, Hey, I'm kidding ?? & ( Like most ppl: in the developed world) Own a Guitar, or a distant second, Bass. The Vast majority have NEVER, Played W/Other ppl, Or played ( & Paid) countless gigs in more than a couple of ORIGINAL BANDS. TAL HAS DONE THAT. & as a petite Girl, ( in stature ) In THE MOST Competitive, ( Lots of heavy's) & HARD CORE City in America ! & ... ( Maybe She doesn't want to talk about it) BUT, How did you, Tal, @ a young age, End up in NYC ? From OZ? That's My Question. & you Survived & Thrived ! As far as Musicians who are just starting out... EVERY GREAT MUSICIAN... In the beginning... SUCKED ! PERIOD. There is no way around it, Play your instrument, & eventually, you hit a note.. or chord.. that sounds UNREAL. & you begin your journey! If you're Quite proficient, & ( like Soo many I see on U-tube, & play only with Electronic backing Music, Reach out, & find ACTUAL MUSICIANS @ your leval. There's MAGIC to be found in Jamming W/ Actual HUMANS !! GO FOR IT ! After all.. Why are you heare... Watching Tal ?
N lol, seriously. That comment just came in like a wrecking ball
Your mind is on vacation, but your mouth is working overtime.
michael wertzy. "Mouth" ?? That was a Text... Something I actually have seen as LITTERLY destroying Actual Human Interaction. ( Which I enjoy, ) & ( Musically , Interacting with an audience) I STAND BY WHAT I SAY. PERIOD.. If, you don't "get it" that's your sad plight. Chill & Enjoy the Music !
For once, an intelligent interviewer, thanks... Oh, and yes... I DO indeed want to have her baby...
One fine beautiful lady
Play eternity? Not familiar with that connection.
What's up with the shoes!!!
Simple black and sexy. Love them!
That hipper-than-hip Hipster presenter dude......I wonder if he realises that his all-knowing approach makes him come across as a right bell-end. Hate to say it, but its true. TONE IT WAAAY DOWN, dude, for chrissake.
I’ve honestly seen “hipper” lol he interviews LOTS of people so he’s gotta be mainstream to some degree eh?
Completely underwhelmed by this broad, whole lotta milk toast
I saw her play with Jeff Beck and it was anything but underwhelming.
The guy is such a d-bag I couldn't stay with it for the Tal.
Jack Roberts maybe you’re the d-bag.
Visions of a true artist being interviewed by a complete AH..... how ?! Did he read a thesaurus ??
Wow he is one annoying dude....
Musically gifted.
Intellectually ... not.
Hence, whence and thence [and this is not a track recommendation] ... going nowhere.
