- Jimmy Savile O.B.E. looks at the weekly pop chart from 20th September 1973 and introduces Bobby 'Boris' Pickett & The Crypt Kickers, Guy Darrell, Simon Park Orchestra, Mott The Hoople, Gilbert O'Sullivan, The Sweet, Roger Daltrey, Status Quo, Wizzard, Manfred Mann's Earth Band and a Pans People dance sequence.
Pan's People are immortal ...I Love Ruth.....xxxx
How can anyone watch Ruth and not fall in love! She puts so much effort into this dance. You have to wonder why she never married. In the interviews she was such a pleasant and funny person.
all of them
whos who
This was a little bit before my time, but man oh man, do I love the women of the mid/late 60s to the early 70s!❤
Natural, slim, that hair, those eyelashes etc...
And for me, Louise was a true goddess. Perfect.
Hands down Pans' best dance.
Love this
Don't they look great!
this is so cool and from deep down, those pelvic thrusts, so raw
Love this dance routine!
Pan's People here are:
Ruth Pearson (gold/yellow) 0:03 0:47
Cherry Gillespie (red/pink) 0:19
Barbara "Babs" Lord (burgundy/orange?) 0:08 1:11
Louise Clarke (sequin green/green) 0:01 2:00
Cherry and Ruth appear to be mostly featured here. Louise - hubba hubba.
Patricia "Dee Dee" Wilde is not present.
Ruth: energetic
Cherry: sensual
Babs: a little mechanical
Louise: lascivious
Those cuties working it 👍
Louise …. 👌
These Lovely ladies could dance 💃 a storm and made top of the pops more
Watchable as well because they were
All beautiful as well Gorgeous women so
You name it they danced to it in the heyday of great rock n pop music in the 60s and 70s in Particular in my opinion
Louise owns this routine. She was the best dancer IMHO
they are all very good
@@kathymitch-u9dExactly. The 70s are very iconic, so cherish it all.
Just a fine bunch of gals doing their thing, for all red blooded males like myself.
My absolute, ABSOLUTE favorite, the incredibly beautiful, amazing dancer Louise Clarke!! I wish I could have gotten her autograph made out to me! 😍 (I got Dee Dee's autograph made out to me!! Woo hoo!) I say that any chance I get on these PP videos!! 😁
If you had the luck one of them could have been your Mrs?? That's what happened to Patti one of the brunettes she met actor Robert powl in a BBC
Canteen ha and married him eventually
Lucky man joke in asside they were all gorgeous dancer's anyway in my book
Lovly one's so
@@raymondgriffiths9766 oh yes definitely, they were all so beautiful!
Actually Babs who married Robert Powell has long blonde hair!
Patti wasn't in Pans people! She may have been in Ruby Flipper if not then Legs and Co
You mean Barbara Lord, "Babs"
@@raymondgriffiths9766
Ruth and Cherry right on time together they own this dance never miss a step
Cherry makes me yell. She makes the other girls look sluggish.
Yep Cherry was 18 all the others are 10 yrs older than her
all 4 were very good
i think all 4 were very good
@@David-pt6zk so
Babs Lord !!! ... OMG !!!
She was lovely but not the best dancer.
Yes Louise steals this show
they were all great
watching this on full screen is great
Cherry presence is self-evident even with low resolution.
Brazil
I always thought Cherry & Louise could pass as sisters!
Actually, as an unincorporated rural community, Nutbush, TN does not have official city limits.
I love a pendant
Thank you for the fun fact, I had no idea!
@@tez6529 Not into jewellery myself...
They call that dramatic license in movie's or tv shows my friend ha
this has to be their sexiest dance. i love it.
Crazy good!
Jimmy Savile, OBE, the foster carer!
Pan's People. There's one special one - beautiful Babs. Dunno what her name is...
Lovely
Check it out kids. This is what your grandmother looked like.
i can,t get enuf of this
love it
sure would have liked to see the whole dance routine
amazing
Louise ..
to bad they are gone
Those girls simply were not being advised in management properly. Executives in the BBC made a pretty pound rest assured. Those girls were taken advantage of just like most during that time period.
their husbands were lucky men
How slim people were back then
There wasn't the processed, sugar and fat laden foods that were genetically engineered and modified, like it is today.
Must have been the one day Dee Dee couldn't make it,!? PP ❤
There was only four because Dee dee was recovering from a leg injury Clive grieves
They had bodies that would put most women today to shame. Gorgeous and all natural.
Yellow my favourite colour
Only 4 ladies ? What a shame !
👍
Arrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhh
Wow,easily their best routine absolutely brilliant, what real girls used to look like.
Tina❤
is there a longer version
i wish their faces were clearer
Babs can't keep up or move like the others.
Yeah she was never the greatest dancer.
Is that the blonde one ??
Because ther were 3 brunettes? And 3
Blondes as well??
I saw one dance they did to green
River in late 60s or early 70s
A blonde dancer at the front
Lost her timing near the end
Of that particular dance
She must hav been Knackered
Mate it was a very energetic
Dance routine they did to that
Green River song its one of
My own personal favorite dancer
Jobs they did and I love that particular
Band back then anyway from the late 60s more so myself friend ha
at it again, you'll see that Andrea was having issues with her top. It looked it was coming loose
@@mayhemmagnet Andrea had a good excuse then, Babs went wrong all the time and not because her top nearly came off although that would have been why people watched her, hoping it would. Andrea's top nearly came off twice did it? Well she COULD dance, Babs could not.
Phwooorrar
goosbumps..
wish their faces would have been a little clearer
Why did the cameramen have to get so "creative" with The girls ? Putting double shots on screen, sometimes using negatives. Just watching them dance was enough 🤦🏻
MADUSA SERPAINION DEVIL HERSELF 1:13 1:13 1:14 1:14 1:15 1:15
did they do anything sexier ?
which one is which
Cherry in Pink , Babs in Red , Louise in Green, Ruth in Gold .
@@mjones4083 thanks
Not a great routine this time
Tina Turner better dancer than pan's people all put together
