Haha! I’m 65 years old BUT I love your videos. I can definitely take your ideas and adjust them to my older body 😂. You make my day. I wish I would’ve started doing this decades ago!! Love sewing and making things mine! Keep it going ❤
I love how you think of the changes and then make them happen. Thank you for sharing the “mistakes” too. 😄
thanks!
It’s fun to watch your process. One recommendation is to use an iron and press hems and seams as you go. It adds to the professional look. Keep up the good work.
Thanks! I actually didn’t have an iron, but I’ve been using my hair straightener haha
So clever! I used to have a dress and little top, like the lilac one, back in the '80s, so I loved that flip. But the amazing one was the nightdress - it turned out like a modern Carmen Miranda little combo! And the orange suit looked like landfill, until you worked your magic. But I love the hot flower outfit best.
Thank you so much! the floral one is my absolute favorite too!
They all turned out great! I love the fabric of number 1 and the colour of number 3, but honestly every outfit turned out super cute! Definitely want to rummage through my wardrobe and find pieces to flip now. 😄 ❤
You're so talented to be able to adjust clothing, taking things in, reconstructing jackets and linings. I could never do this. You make it look so easy.
Thank you!! It’s definitely taken a lot of pracitce
You popped up in my feed this morning. I LOVE your honesty about the process with each piece. We can learn from your experiences.
There's just so much beauty in making mistakes and finding creative ways to solve problems. I love sharing all the parts of creating! Thanks!!
I love the last two pieces! Adorable!!!
thank you!
Great job on all 3 outfits, but my absolute fav is number 2! Beautiful job redesigning!
Thank you so much! I love that piece too!
I want to learn to sew now. That first piece is amazing!! ❤
Thank you!! It’s such a fun skill!
I not only love the final products but the music sold me! Thanks for sharing!
Aww thanks so much! I’m glad you like the music 😍
Loving your energy, it makes me want to cut all my clothes 😂
DO👏🏼IT👏🏼 I love a good clothing chop session!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 true story ❤
OMG I thought of the same thing! LOL
Right?🤨❣️
Look at you! Love that you take something old and make it so cute!!!! My mom said my grandmother could draw a pattern out on a news paper and make a dress. Wish I had her skills and/or your’s!
thank you so much!! My mom can do that, and she taught me everything I know haha
Wow I am blown away by the orange 2-piece. SO CUTE!
YES so good!! thank you so much!!
omg cottagecore thrift flips my two fave things
I actually just posted a specifically cottagecore thrift flip video! Lol
yayyyy!!!! i literally just found you but I'm SO glad i did bc u fit all my aesthetics and never fail to make some really adorable stuff!
Difficult to choose but I think the orange transformation is amazing. But then the chiffon dress.... fabuloso, all of them!
Thank you so much!!
You are very talented! Ive been sewing since I was 14 and Im now 61!! Lol. I dont know if you have one, but you should invest in a dress-dummy. Adjust it to your body size and it makes doing alterations so much easier. Also a really good pair of scissors. That makes all the difference. Cant wait to see what you do next!
I do actually have one, but I don’t have to take too many measurements since I know my own already. I definitely need new scissors though haha
You are AMAZING. I LOVE the red dress, turned into the 2 piece crop top and skirt!!!
thank you so much!! Definitely a favorite of mine too!
Love your video! Just a tip to save you some work: if you do a double fold at the hem, there's no need to do a zigzag stitch, since the edge of the fabric will be safely tucked away, so it won't get undone or start fraying ☺️
Thanks for the tip! I actually used the double fold on the hem of the final piece in this video. I switch back and forth between the zig zag and the double fold based on the fabric, some do not fold well or look better with a flatter hem. The zig zag accomplishes the same thing without the bulk. Thanks for watching!
you inspire me! I just bought a sewing machine, once I get use to making small projects I will thrift and repair, then who knows? I’ll keep watching for more inspiration. Thank you !!
This is probably your best thrift-flip video yet! I can’t even choose a favorite this time, they’re all SO. GOOD. 😍
I agree!! It’s definitely my favorite one so far!
Great flip!!! Loved them all.
thank you so much!!
Absolutely love all of these!! With styling the orange one, would look super cute twirh a long sleeve white turtle neck under!
How cute!
You popped up in my feed this morning and I cannot pass up thrift flips. Your dresses turned out amazing. A walking foot would make sewing those more difficult fabrics much easier.
Thanks for the tip! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Good to know. Thank you!
This was amazing!!! Do you think you could do a thrift flip basics video? :) For beginners, it would be great to have a list of essential stitches to know, techniques, tools like your seam ripper and button contraption etc etc
Oo that’s a great idea!
That skirt suit turned out SO good!
Thank you! Absolutely one of my favorites!
They all came out amazing
Thank you!
Your videos are so fun to watch and you are talented, a joy to watch and inspirational. You should be on Project Runway!,,
thank you! oh my gosh that was my dream growing up!
Such cute transformations! You have a talent!
thank you so much!
Those were absolutely adorable. The 1st one was my favorite, that floral was gorgeous! Great job
thank you! that floral is to die for!
You are so creative! Love what you did! First one is my favorite but, they are all great!
Thank you so much! I love that first one too!
That first dress looks really great.
Thank you! Definitely a favorite!
I absolutely love the first one. I love my two piece sets. Ugh I need to learn how to use a sewing machine. You did so good on all of them!
I’m the biggest fan of two piece sets!! It’s easier than you think! Go for it!
the second dress came out AMAZING!!
Thank you! I LOVE that piece!!
You have real vision for such a young lady! Bravo for you!
Thank you so much!
So good- you’ve transformed those dresses to the next level way up there 🙏🏻😍
Thanks!
When I saw that the second piece was sheer fabric + cut on the bias, I was stressed for you. Lol. But you did great!!! It looks awesome. I have a dress that was strapless with a huge ruffle (think flamenco dancer). I got rid of the ruffle and am in the process of installing straps and a little flutter sleeve. It's an oddly similar process to your piece. I feel like I'll come back to this video to look at your technique again 👌🏼 thanks for sharing
Thanks so much! It was definitely a challenge but I love the end result!! Amazing!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE how excited you get! I really enjoy your thrift flips!! You are so creative 😍
Haha I just love clothing and transforming pieces!
Omg you're making ME excited too and I can't even sew :( I'm praying that you have loads of videos for beginners. I adore the first piece with the beautiful, bright floral prints. Plus cerise is my favourite colour along with all shades of pinks and purples too. I ciuid kind of follow no 1 but no 2 was very fast in video and talking. I guess most of your audience can sew already. I wish I had you at my house. I actually know a great seamstress. When lockdown is over, in Ireland, I'm going to get her to go through all my clothes and flip them too. I have loads of brand new clothes but they are too big as, I lost loads of weight, 4 years ago from the shock of my 36byear old brother's sudden death. I never put it back on. Usually, having them taken in was a warre because my weight used to fluctuate a lot. One month I'd be a slim size 12 and the next one, I'd be a chhubbier size 16 or 18!! It was very expensive replacing all the clothes and very annoying too.
Yes, flip ALL the clothes!! Thanks for watching!
I love all your new clothes, you did a great job with all your projects.❤️
Thank you so much!!
This was so inspiring! I love vintage clothes, but some of them are too small for me. I'm going to dive in and make some adjustments!
You go!!
These all turned out so cute! I have so many thrifted things I've been meaning to flip and I might just finally cut into them now.
Thank you! Oh yeah it takes me a while to actually get around to doing my flips, and then once i do i'm like "why didn't i do this earlier" lol happy flipping!!
Super!
Omg! I found you accidentally on my roku and I love love love your sewing courage!!!
Thank you so much!! My mom always taught me that sewing is 80% courage, and 20% skill, and I live that fully in these videos haha
The suit look is really really cuuute!! XD
thank you!!
I love making or remaking "stuff" from thrifted clothing. Sometimes it's just a simple alteration. Sometimes I pick the entire garment apart and use the pieces as yardage with a commercial pattern. One of my favorite gifts to give is chef aprons. There are zillions of those 1980s roomy, linen, prairie, "granola" dresses in beautiful prints out there and they make very classy chef aprons. Sometimes you can incorporate existing pockets, button plackets, etc.
One little sewing hint … when you pin a seam before you stitch on the machine, put your pins in with their heads to the right if you pin horizontally and are right handed. OR as I see you put pins in vertically (parallel to the seam), insert your pins with the heads facing you. Placing pins so they are easy to pull out as you sew saves time, saves awkward reaching in across yourself and across the machine, etc. A little thing I learned from a sewing teacher 50 years ago that makes sewing a seam go smoother and quicker for me. Fewer obstacles means more cool projects.
Thanks for the tip, that is actually always my goal, but I usually begin pinning before I think about how i'm going to sew it. So, I end up with pins in weird directions haha Thanks for watching!
I love watching thrift flips 🥰❤️
They're the most fun!!
Oh my gosh! How fun! Amazing expertise with your designing and sewing skills! The floral set is my favorite!
Thank you!! YES, that one is so good!
Beautiful. No 1 and 2 were amazing flips
thank you!
Love all your upcycles. Yes , I love the new bttonhole Maker tool. Could never make a decent buttohle with my old machine. I had to watch a video to learn how to use it, too.
Oh my gosh, you're adorable and you did awesome on these! You have a new subscriber :)
YAY! Welcome to Well-Loved! I’m so glad you’re here!
Wow girl you are so talented. Loved all three flips. Keep up the great videos.
Thank you so much!!
You are very talented. I love the second outfit.
Thank you!!
The print in the first one! 😍 So jealous that you found that
it's the BEST print!!!
in awe of your sewing skills
Wow thank you so much!!
Love the first one 💕💕💕
Thank you!!
Wow, so amazing. You are very creative. All 3 are gorgeous so I don't really have a favourite. With the first 2 dresses with the extra fabric that you cut off it would make great scrunchies or a headband. Or maybe a scarf for your purse handle. Looking forward to more videos.
I love making little accessories with extra fabric! Thank you so much!!
Love the scarf for purse handle idea!
The purple flowy dress was my favorite. You are very talented. I💞
I love that dress! Thank you so much!
So much confidence! Great job!
Sewing takes a lot of boldness and I love to just jump in haha thanks for watching!
I love it. The first one is my favourite. I also have a vintage gown that I think I must "flip".
YES!! Flip everything haha
Loved both flips!
Thank you so much!!
Wow!! You are a whizz at sewing😱 I loved them all!!!! I have made my own clothes......years and years ago😬 But I need to look into getting a sewing machine now! You inspired me💟 Thank you🦋
YAY I'm so glad I could pass a little inspiration your way! How cool to have made your own clothes!!
My favorite was the first 2 piece set so cute
YES! Such a good one!!

Thank you so much! I had TONS of fun doing them too!
That dress turned out beautiful
Thank you!
You are adorable. I could not stop laughing when you said you got a hand cramp. I'm a new subbie. Keep the great videos coming😀
Hahah I’m glad I could send some joy your way!! Welcome to Well-Loved!!
Great call on ruching (is that how you spell it?) the neckline on the purple dress! You are giving me so many ideas and making me less afraid to start on sewing projects I've had waiting in my fabric bin for far too long. Thanks for being you and for sharing yourself with the world!
Thank you! The ruching definitely elevates that dress!
Love your energy and I have only watched one of your videos but I’m definitely subscribing
YAY! Welcome to Well-Loved!
Hello- This is my first visit to your channel. If you do thrift flips like this on a regular basis, I'll be back for certain. My favorite was the purple dress. I think the sleeves have just the right amount of puffy. It really fits you nicely.
this video is actually from 2 years ago, and i have posted a monthly thrift flip since i began my channel, so there are already plenty of this kind of video on a playlist on my channel. enjoy!
You're so talented these were all so cute
Thank you so much!!
OMG that flower pattern !!!
Isn't it to DIE FOR?? I love it so much! Thanks for watching!
Loved all 3 flips; you clever young lady!! I have recently invested in a sewing machine (since lock down) and lo and behold.......it's identical to yours (unintentional). I haven't dared venture into the buttonhole foot, as I am a complete rookie, but where there is hope....there's a way. Thanks for the inspiration!!
Thank you!! These flips were so much fun! You go girl! The buttonhole foot was actually a lot easier than I expected haha good luck!
Just double check which way round you put the buttonhole foot on...when I first used mine I had it on backwards and punched two holes into the plastic 😂
@@emsk9567 Lol...thanks for the advice!
so cute!! Thrift flips are definitely one of my favorite videos to make too:)
Ugh aren't they just the BEST?! It's so exciting to create something new!
They were all so great when finished great job.
Thank you so much!!
My first time watching your video.
You're very talented! I love thrifting. And enjoy seeing your vision of remaking pieces! I'm hooked.
Thank you so much!
You are just wonderful. So glad i found u. Don't ever stop!
Aww how sweet are you! Thank you so much!!
So I just found your channel today, and I. Am. Ob-sessed! (
AHH thank you!! I am SO GLAD I could send some warm fuzzies your way! That’s what We’ll-Loved is all about!! Thank you so much for your sweet words!
You are so cute and sweet and fun to watch. Please don't change. Also, love your style. It's carefree and fun. :)
That’s so sweet! We’re all so unique and lovely and I think fashion should reflect who we are, so I’m glad that was received!! Thank you!!
I ABSOLUTELY loved this video! And everything turned out so cute!
Thank you so much!!
I love all of these! Feelings inspired for the next time I can thrift
YAY!! Thanks for watching!
I loved this video. You're very talented. I've been sewing 45 years and I have a question. Wouldn't it be easier if you put the pins in side to side instead of up and down when sewing on the machine?
probably lol I usually just pin before thinking about which ways the pins need to go and ultimately it gets the job done, so I don't worry about the direction too much haha thanks for watching!
I like your enthusiasm and how creative you are, I love the three transformations! I am new here but I love your videos, regards from Spain
Thank you so much! Welcome to Well-Loved! I'm so glad you're here!
You gave me a whole new level of energy to finish my halfway done transformations! What a great job, especially with the blazer!!! New subscriber!
YAY, I'm glad I could spread some joy and energy! Welcome to Well-Loved!
The last one. Would love be to see you accesorize your flips in another video. Bottom to top! They were all really cute. I had a skirt like the first but it had a shawl type scarf you tied early 1980's.
Ooh fun idea! They usually show up quite often in my What I Wore videos because I love the pieces so much!!
First video of yours that I’ve watch - I LOVED it!! I love what you do with thrift store finds. The things you made are adorable!!! Let’s see...I think the outfit I liked most was...maybe the first one (although they were all GREAT!!).
Thank you so much!! The first one was probably my favorite too, but it's hard to choose! haha
I have pieces that I say I'm going to revamp and never do, mostly because I don't know where to start and also because I am new to sewing.... With a machine anyway. I think you gave me a little boost. Although I know I can make anything look quite that fancy when I finish it. I loved all of these but I think maybe the last one was the best for me. :-)
thanks so much! good luck with your flip projects!
I love all 3 thrift flips!!!
Thank you!! Me too 😍😍
love them all!!! and oh my gosh the first one is my favvvv SO CUTE 😍
Thank you!! AHH isn’t that one so much fun!!
I loved watching this video. You are amazing. Please do more soon.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it!! Thank you! I definitely will be!
I love your dress and sweater u r in... I envy your talent in a good way🙏🏼
thank you so much, it's my favorite little dress! wow thank you!!
Absolutely fantastic. I wonder if you could elaborate on how you made sleeves on the dress and shirt, please. I have so many i would like to make sleeves for. Thanks again.
I used elastic, and basically made a tube with elastic at either end to create the puff sleeve. You can look up other DIY videos on how to do it too. Thanks for watching!
Wow you absolutely smashed it!!
Thank you so much!!
Cute ideas. They turned out great
Thank you!
loooveee the purple dress but especially love the music :D
Thank you! Yes this music is SO good!!
these pieces are SO CUTE!!!
Thank you!! I'm so happy with how all of them turned out!!
I want that suit and would wear as is. The flip is amazing but I could not wear it to work. I love the work you did on the first co-ord
definitely took it from work to play time with the flip lol if you would like that amazing flip to be yours, DM me on my instagram! Thanks for watching!
Loved all of them. Good job!!
Thank you so much!!
