Loved your flips, my fav was the red sweater set. It was refreshing to see someone you actually put more effort in a flip rather then taking a pair of scissors, cropping and call it fashion.
I have worn the heck out of that sweater set, one of my best flips for sure! Thank you so much! I'm all for anyone flipping in whatever way they want to wear sustainable, but I definitely love a full transformation of a piece!
You arrived in my UA-cam feed thanks to an algorithm! You are one talented young lady; I loved your style flips and sewing skills and have inspired me to get a sewing machine (once the world becomes 'normal' again....whatever the new 'normal' will be). I am now in the process of watching all of your previous videos. You have a new subscriber. Keep them coming!!
On the pink top the part with the buttons is called a placket. The sweater set turned out so cute. Was thinking when you cut off the bottom parts that you were going to reattach them to the new shorter bottoms of the cropped pieces.
I LOVE your videos!!! You are becoming one of my favorite inspirations here on UA-cam!! Get ready for me to throw some challenges you way. Also, when will you get a PO Box? I have a couple of thrifted items I have had for years that I would love to send to you. See what you can create with me. At least one of them has a LOT of orange.
I found your channel yesterday! You’re so cute and I love your style even when is very different to mine. I think this channel has a great growth potential. Keep at it!!!
You just came up on my wall,so I've subbed, your flips look great, I've been sewing for 40 years so if you need any tips I'm happy to answer 4 u , your button piece is called a button placket, and a tip for sewing your knit is to look into getting a walking foot,it will change everything and save un picking bumpy hems lol hope this helps, keep going and enjoy yourself, well done.
What a great tutorial! Thank you for explaining how to take the bottoms apart to adjust the crotch while saving the zipper! Awesomely fantastic...you've given me endless possibilities with that info. Thanks you again! Very cute re dos......
I enjoyed your videos . I ve been sewing for years but never changed thrift purchases. What a great idea ! . Gives it a modern twist with a romantic vintage flair . Very clever. Keep up the good work . You make it fun to watch . Keep on shinning!
Very creative! Thanks for showing us your most challenging and most fun thrift flip. I liked the sweater set & the plaid check set. You have the figure to look cute in anything. ~tfs
Knit is so difficult! But the sweater set looks so good! I'm now inspired to make my own as soon as I'm able to thrift one. Also, so loving the rust color.
Hello, your so darn cute! I came across you channel yesterday and love your style and just you. You did an outstanding transformation on your thrift finds. Looking forward to being apart of your community, Blessings to you
I discovered your channel literally just now and *WOW* you are really talented. I'm planning on doing thrift flips and usually see the crop it diy's, and your thrift flips are way too cool. Btw, I like that you're really happy in your videos because it stresses me out when the person I'm following a tutorial on, stresses out when he/she makes a mistake. Keep up the good work! Definitely subscribed!
Thank you so much!! Way to go doing your own flips! Haha I never get stressed about it, with sewing you’re just going to make mistakes and there’s now reason to stress because they’re fixable and still turn out great! Thanks for joining Well-Loved! I’m so glad you’re here!
You did a great job on these transformations ! You turn some really "Granny" items into super cute fashion pieces ! I LOVE the pink shirt....the ruffles made it !
Wow! You have mad flipping skills!! How did you learn to repurpose like that? So inspiring and all the garments were cute but that brown gingham checked two piece set- to die for!!
Thank you so much! My mom taught me sewing basics when I was little, but I just kind of go for it?? Haha I like to say that sewing is 20% skill and 80% courage and that’s pretty much what gets me to these crazy flips!
I love watching your videos and you have some great ideas and it does give me inspiration. Just a couple of things If you use proper dressmaking scissors it will make all the difference to your up-cycling and not sure if you know but if you use a ball point needle with your stretch materials it will make the garments so much easier to sew. Not being a pain just helping. x
Thanks for the tips! I actually have both of those things but with an unorganized sewing closet (since I don’t have a sewing room) I couldn’t find either 😂🥴 thanks for sharing!!
Heyy, I've just discovered this channel and am binging - getting so much inspiration for when I can finally get my head around my new sewing machine! I am thinking of filming my journey of thrift flipping and making my own clothes - mostly for my benefit to see how much my style and technique evolve as I practice more. I was just wondering what equipment you use to film your videos? I hope you're safe and well xxx
Hi there! I'm so glad I can send some inspiration your way! I actually use my iPhone half the time, and a Nikon d3300 the other half. Thanks for watching! Happy sewing!
Dont know if someone said already but if you kind of do a take in seam from front hem 1/3 in from side and carry it all the way up to shoulder and down the back the sleeves can stay. Does that even make sense??!😂
I love the gingham set, super cute! It reminds me of a boxy button down shirt that I cropped and also made into a short sleeved top. I've been wondering if leaving it as a raw edge will make the fabric come apart over time? Like, will it unravel in the wash?
How fun! I love cropped button downs! I've washed it once already on gentle cycle with similar materials and it's done fine. They don't usually unravel for me, but if it starts to, I'll just sew a seam across the bottom and it will hold in place. thanks for watching!
Addey, you are truly fearless and your videaos are enjoyable and infectious. Please get a decent pair of dressmaking shears, it will make your cutting easier. OR use rotary cutter and mat especially with knits. You go girl, love what you have done and I know will get some Uglies and recreate. Thanks, I will continue to watch
Haha I actually have a store! Online and a physical location in Monroe, GA. There’s a link to my website in the description of every video, and on my instagram
Do you want to maybe consider steering away from buying plus size clothing for your thrift flips ? The plus size section at any second hand store is tiny comparatively to the straight size section and every time you buy something from that section you're taking away the opportunity for a plus size person in need to be able to buy it. Remember there are some people that can only afford thrift store clothing. Clearly you're talented enough to be able to transform clothing that is basically your size into trendy looks and I think that's where you shine
Hi there! I generally stick to my sizing section when thrift flipping for that exact reason, and plus size clothing is a bit more challenging to sew, so I prefer smaller. The plus size piece in this video had a giant shredded hole in the crotch and the top was full of holes also. If anyone was to wear this, it would have to be taken in significantly to fix the issues, and I didn’t want I to end up in a landfill simply because it was a little busted up. I share your concern for ensuring everyone can find what they need at the thrift store. Thanks so much for sharing and encouraging everyone to think of others!
Loll this is funny as people are getting bigger and bigger so the plus sizing now dominates. Give it time sooner or later there will be very little to choose from the smaller sizes
After watching this, the message I'm getting is "Just Try It!!!" Thanks for recommending this video with a sweater. You're right, ripply bumpy is so not a good look and should be avoided! --Kay
That's exactly my mentality! Sewing takes a lot of boldness, and I'm a firm believer that at some point you just have to jump in and learn hands on. Thanks for watching!

OMG! I bought those gingham pants in pink back in the early '70s when I was 17?! I LOVED those pants.
wow, i would love to see them in pink!! how cute!
You arrived in my UA-cam feed thanks to an algorithm! Thank you so much!!
On the pink top the part with the buttons is called a placket. The sweater set turned out so cute. Was thinking when you cut off the bottom parts that you were going to reattach them to the new shorter bottoms of the cropped pieces.
Thanks! I love the sweater set too!
That gingham set is EVERYTHING.
isn't it?! I could NOT pass it up in the thrift store!
This rust colored sweater set would look terrific with the gold cored pants.
that would be cute!
I LOVE your videos!!! You are becoming one of my favorite inspirations here on UA-cam!! Get ready for me to throw some challenges you way. Also, when will you get a PO Box? Oh. You'd lose the pockets!!😂😂🐒
I’m not really following? But I like to take apart the top anyway because I think it just makes a more clean fit. Thanks for watching!
Super creative

I've heard the same with vintage fabrics: just throw it in the washer and see what happens, it's all good! Well, for most fabrics. :-)
I really like your style! :)
You're too sweet, thank you!
