It was cool watching Graham walk around the factory with his dad

I’ll gonna make a factory that manufactures, manufacturing companies 😂

Either Graham's really short or it's incredibly ironic that a tiny home company has a freakin' GIANT working for them... 😲
Both 😂

Cute though!

People forget about "modular homes," back in the 80's. Those houses were prefab houses brought in on flatbed trucks and assembled with a crane but used modern materials, just like a modern house. This company is basically making a Rv without the wheels or a pull behind camper. I think having the ability to add sections is what will make it attractive to people.
Trailers and trailer parks - the original tiny homes people made fun of and still do to this day. Calling them tiny homes was just a way to give them a better look. Honestly though these things have been around for decades but people are either too young to know or don't look outside the socials. They don't realize they are just falling for marketing and fake hype driven by nonsense youtube/tiktok algos.
it’s rebranding for younger people who don’t want to say they live in a trailer park
@@corail53 rv and trailers now cost too much unfortunately.
This was my comment before reading yours lol my house was like your saying flatbed crane house was built pretty quickly and well
@@officialtotino Definitely agree. Just some tricky marketing to brand this as the hip alternative to the trailer park.
Building a small house which can be bult in one hour is one thing. Providing the access to water for plumbing and sewage and not to mention hooking up to the electrical grid is another thing all together.
Nvm that you need LAND to place your "affordable tiny home"
Absolutely!
You've a firm grasp of the obvious.
Hooking up to the electrical grid is extremely easy I can do it just by throwing a wire over a power line 🤫 lol
So your new tiny house will be prison then.
Honestly it sucks things are so expensive these days but in times where solutions are needed this isn’t a bad idea. Hopefully many young people can buy their homes and focus on saving up while not being in huge debt.
You know what also sucks? vacuum cleaners
@@probably9380 You know what else sucks? The drain of a bathtub.
Thumbs down for misleading title. You can not tour qston martin factory and say "i toured andrew tate's car"...
A misleading title on youtube😂 .musta been an isolated incident lol if Andrew Tate drives an Aston Martin then yeah you sure could
This concept has been tried before in the Soviet Union. They were making the walls in a factory, then they shipped them to the construction site and assembled the apartment building. That's the reason behind soviet iconic aesthetics
In most of Europe, not only in Soviet Union, My house was built of ready-made rooms( kitchen, bathrooms)
@@wlodzimierzzlotorzycki3551 Do u have a recommended website to see common make ready spaces?
In Mexico under war criminals George Bushy American tax dollars given to Mexico to loan money to poor people who could live in small home and start a gum a candy business or buy chickens for egg and poultry.
I take dumps too massive for that smaller amount of displaced water. There's a reason why the"efficiant " toilets get massive complaints. People have to flush several more times than on a normal toilet. Further more, the toilet actually needs a specific about t water to flush.
elons twitter says he doesnt live in a casita
I love the new real estate content! Gives me a better and a more unique perspective. Keep uploading these types of videos!
I love to hear the answer to Graham's question at the end. "Can I have one?" Hahah. Please don't keep us in suspense for too long.

This feels like it was more informational than anything they've provided to investors 😂Thanks Graham! Guess now we know our money is in the hands of poker players!
There are lots of prefab builders these days. I'd love to see a series exploring the different options!
Graham! By far, my most favorite video you have made. The story telling and intro was spot on. Alex, awesome editing on this one!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Same here. Great content even i thought the thumbnail hope Its Will be REAL one
I’m interested in if they will eventually make much larger homes made up of several boxes put together. It would still allow for cheap non-wide load shipping.
Yes they are
They literally said they were going to in the video 😂

Thank you for reviewing this product! My curiosity has been intrigued since I first saw this a while back!!!
Are these houses considered personal property or real property? Are they fixated to the land when deployed?
That is a cool idea, but I would have two questions. First, how does this compare with traditional mobile ( manufactured ) homes?? Two: Where can you put these?? You need land or a space to put them and hook them up to utilities and infrastructure.
So yeah, you would have to have a piece of land to put these on. Dont know if you would be allowed to put these in a mobile home lot.
@@suchabadkitty1293 since mobile home lots cost 2000+ in many cases around ca cities there is no point.
rather find land and find ways to do water power hookup is the easy part with solar and batteries.
@@Koushi82 $2000 for your lot PLUS utilities is a HUGE BARGAIN in any major Cali city, unless youre living in a full on hood. And water and power for a 1400 sq ft home. isnt as easy as you seem to think. Glad you have 100s of thousands of dollars to buy a mobile home AND property. Good luck. CHEERS
I’m guessing in 10 years, some agent is going to be telling their client “nooo that’s one of those tech start up houses, things a death trap and banks won’t loan on them”
Glad to see more competition in such a tough market. This makes it possible for an individual or a couple to buy a plot of land and one of these houses for around 100k (depending on where you live) compared to the near 400k average home price.
50k for land? Where in the world are you that it would be that cheap? Houses are not the expensive part - land is. You are also forgetting to factor in that you will need zoning, you will need utility hook up's, septic etc. By the time you are done with it all you will be closer to 150k in the box. What I hate about this video is that graham is using Elon to drive marketing - smart on him but too many people blindly follow that guy - who by the way has huge mansions where his kids stay and he is the richest guy in the world so it doesn't matter what he does.
@@corail53 you can find land for 5k to 10k what are you talking qbout
@@mr.nuticus7821not with utility hookups besides maybe in the most undesirable parts of the country
Storage???
100k would get you aprox 400 square feet of living space considering you still have to pay to have a foundation built, engineering, permits, septics/sewer. The overhead to build a home makes it impractical to only throw a 400 sqft box on all that prep work
This video is about as honest as the thumbnail.
Anyone who believes this crap needs to give me their money.
Looks like Kevin came through with the follow-up! Exposed.
Graham definitely got paid from boxable to promote this fraud just like FTX. Graham is all about his money and doesn't care even if his viewers get scamed
Terrific interviews. I’ve been following these guys and to peek inside the facility is SO cool. Thanks!
The cliffhanger was grand. Love it! I think this concept is much needed and if they could gain market share it would be nice to see more developments of tiny, affordable living spaces. Hopefully the farce of an American dream doesn't crush this and people with $50,000 for housing stop looking for $300,000 housing.
Land prices are ridiculous in northern Arizona! But even still that price plus a boxable would be hundreds of thousands of dollars cheaper.
Who can ever afford to invest in such a risky asset as basic housing in America?
Dont think 30 yr mortgages are avail for land purchases.
@@EDV8ZR1 uneducated comment
I don't think this is getting crushed anything soon with the wait list as big as it is. My concern is that big companies/investors basically buy out most the marketshare and just rent them out which puts us, more or less, back at square one.
I love this idea. Are there precautions to counter earthquakes/floods in this build? That's really my only concern.
How do you repair any issues with the exterior walls since it's all laminated to the styrofoam interior. How long will these homes last in high temps or very cold temps? How would you repair the plumbing if there was a leak? How watertight are these homes in heavy winds/rains?
Been following these guys for a few years now. Cool to see them get more exposure.
I can't wait for one even wider. Maybe with a really small, non elevated walk out deck with sliding doors. Also, if you could do one with an attached garage that would be nice. Crazy how they do this. Also, how to get it attached to electricity? water? where's the water heater? Furnace or is that electric? How will it fair in the Midwest?
The HVAC is all electric
do i put down coordinates on my uber eats delivery if I live in one of these?
GREAT ENDING!!! Please have the follow-up video up soon!! Can't wait!!
This takes affordable housing to a new level dude huge waiting list but I would definitely get one in the future it will probably take years on the list
just wait til blackrock buys it, it will cost a 500,000 in no time.
The incredible thing is that the man standing next to Graham is 5'3"
Also is the roof of the home completely flat?? I’m curious to how well that will hold up to lots of rainfall over the years, wouldn’t water tend to sit on the roof and create a sort of pool and weight and start bowing and caving in??
in the sequel, it would be cool to explain how do you connect water and eletricity to it. got me curious haha
You arrange the site beforehand. Outside the casita, in one of the corners of an outside wall is a box where sewage, water, and electricity hook up.
@@radiofreealbemuth8540 do you think a garden hose would be adequate?
I made a detailed review about that why there are red flags with Boxabl. Be careful!
There is definitely something fishy going on with that company!
Like, why have none of them been delivered? Show us a video of people using them.
Yea it’s a great idea but where is the execution? Kinda weird.
I'm wondering if the $60K price tag is delivered pricing or do you have to add shipping and assembly. Also what time of foundation is requires. Guess I'll check out their website for more info. 👍
This is awesome! Deffinetly a company, that will have a huge part in my portfolio when they go public!
The idea sounds good but notice he never talks about zoning regulations, purchasing land, hiring contractors to do customizations and set up power and plumbing and what not. So out here in California this definitely wouldn't be worth it.
Also not spoken ... are DELIVERIES ... orders, yeah plenty ... Deliveries ... NONE ! maybe one, elon's
I love this innovation/pivot. Traditional manufactured homes have the yuck factor and difficult logistics. Tiny homes gained popularity, but they’re largely diy. This is quality, easy logistics, efficiency and cost savings that pass on to the customer.
This is literally a folding box. It has the least appealing look of all housing out there aka major yuck factor. Tiny homes gained popularity because of the youtube algorithm hitting the diy keywords which do well and then people thought it was quaint. The only people building and buying them are doing so for renting out on airbnb.
Actually China already start doing these tiny house, customize fast-build-transforming-container-house a few years ago, I first heard of it was in 2020, they probably start the business way longer then this.
What good is innovation if the waiting list is many years long?
apparently you have never looked at manufactured homes made in europe, like Switzerland or Germany. same basic principle but full size houses and buildings, even commercial or mixed use multi story buildings. This is not really that exciting by itself. The interesting piece is that assembly on site is quite fast for a tiny home. obviously you can't fold up a real building.

How nice the richest man thinks we should all live in garden sheds.

Really such an interesting episode. I work in logistics and warehousing and always wondered what Boxable was doing. Thanks so much Graham!!!
You work in warehousing and wonder what a company that builds box houses does in a warehouse?
@@corail53 I see the company as I drive by, and didn’t know who they were or what they did, just saw their warehouse. This video explained who they are and what they do.
You can tell from Graham’s eyes he can’t believe anyone would choose to live in one of these 💀
You could buy a shipping container and pour a concrete bed
Run electric and drywall and put in windows for the same amount but get the big one
graham is the perfect size guy to show off a tiny home
Honestly, I just love the idea of living with what you need.

Yes!!
@@toxingne5748 100% sure doing so would void and warranty though if you cut the prefab

We've done loads of these in South Africa...pretty simple really.Sure the folding/packaging is a plus though...but then..even that could be incorporated.China has been doing this for a very long time...and all components can get shipped. And yes shipping containers are also being converted...and custom built to boot.
I woudln't mind buying two or three of them and putting them together. Could hold everything I ever need with a bit of breathing space, all for less than most small houses on the market. The only issue would be the plot/land.
Come to IBS tmrw ;)
Outside of city find cheap land
This is what the WEF meant when they said we peasants will “own nothing and be happy about it.” While they continue to stack mansions and penthouses.
Maybe i missed it, but i didn't see any furnace or water heater. How does the house get heated and where does the hot water come from?
The "how many times can you fold and unfold" got him lol 😂
Love that you're doing these types of videos. Keep it up Graham!
Is resale value something you can apply to a house like this or is it more of a one and done type of deal
One and done w the material quality.
6:47 Having lived in several campers and caravans with very low ceiling i learned that the perception of space adapts over time. After years of living in a camper i felt uncomfortable for weeks when i moved into a large house with very high ceiling. All this empty space above me made me feel very small, it was like living in a church .
They're cute and expensive (per Sq2) boxes. Great for the tech schools and engineering students. Being able to pick up and get out of the way of storms is a plus.
Graham, I’ve been a long time subscriber and viewer. Don’t get me wrong, I love your headshot videos in your studio, full of great info and entertainment. But I think this interview and video style is SO good and refreshing. If you could mix the two styles, maybe some headshots getting your thoughts when you’re out of studio would be AWESOME. Refreshing change in this video!
I know Graham is shorter, but that dudes gotta be 7’3” lmao
Graham is 5’2 that dude is probably 6’3
When he was asked how many times can it be folded and unfolded and was it tested, he was at a loss for words, his answer was empty, he said it was tested " countless times" in other words, it wasn't tested, because we can't count pretty high, so how many times was it tested? 100 times? 1000, 10,000, 100,000, or 1,000,000 ? I can keep going.
Hey Graham, does this qualify as an ADU or junior ADU in California?
It’s nice to see the Bang CEO’s brother is doing well running a tiny home company
I would love to live in one of these. Perfect size for me. I don't need a ton of space. Just a little bit of land with a backyard and this is perfect
Thank you for stopping by and helping us change the world!
I love these! I feel these homes will benefit so many homeless people or low income people. Build tiny homes and make it rent to own.
Very cool concept. Maybe be on the waitlist for one of these one day.
Wow house prices have really changed, here in my area 1500sqft homes were going for 60-70k in 2014 , with decent sized backyard
Thank you for sharing this video.
I live in the south, and I can tell you when tornado season comes it would blow this build-a-block house away like a feather😂
I don't think people get these houses at all, your comment is a good example
It’s like no one told them that Trailers are a thing 😂
The amount of content you and Enes have done that crossover is wild. I was wondering who had done a vid on this company and now you have a whole vid of Elon Musk’s exact build. 😅 smashing the like for this
Thank you!!
I’ve always been confused. Do these unfold with the furniture and appliances in them? Or do they put those items in later?
Like Elon Musk the furniture is self inflating.

Hello, can I purchase one for Long Island New York, where can I install the house? who will go you the land?
The guy wearing sunglasses, a hat, open shirt with a necklace in an interview. So cool. 😂😂
He bought that jewelry with the investor's money ... ! ... How many houses have they 'delivered' in 2022 ... ? (I smell fraud)
Not really
Honestly I would just rent an apartment instead of buying a tiny home
Totally agree. I was on my way to buy a blanket but now I think I will just burn some cash to stay warm.

House might be 50k, but tax, shipping, purchase of land, building permits for your foundation plus hookups, contractors, materials for said foundation/hookups, etc probably brings your actual total to 100k - 150k minimum in a cheap location.
Yep that's what I said too. You can buy an actual full size house for the same price in half the US. This is basically a joke. 100k for a 200 sq ft shack that's been marketed as cool and cost effective when it's actually expensive as hell and horrible unless you have no life and don't intend on doing anything or having a family ever.
Is still less than a house
When council comes to inspect can i fold it up so they don’t know how to enforce and local building regulations??
Modular prefab homes are pretty cool, but it's an industry that has struggled to get off the ground for decades. The expensive part of homes is land, not the building.
