I've been trying to do hardcore freelancer and selecting SA when possible while using Freelancer variations mod and Any NPC can be a target mod and it's the hardest thing ever but it's so fun. Glad I can learn some tricks from you here :)
No gonna lie, this is how I've tried to complete Freelancer. Adds more challenge and makes me more cautious and play as it is intended in the first place (as a concept of Hitman). Well done.
I always play the normal missions SA, and use freelancer as a chance to let loose and not worry about killing non targets or getting caught. It’s pretty liberating
well done man, freelancer is a ton of fun, cause allows me to use explosives in targets too without worrying about SA for fun, altough it would be cool to see a patch with rewards added to the mode and new optional missions

Also, I’m trying to grind SA in freelancer and I’m trying to learn the door trick with a pistol. Like in Santa fortuna in the mansion area when you broke the keycard lock with your gold baller… how ?

The big balls you must have to stun a non target with the soda can... in front of the target... then dumping them... on a freelancer SA run 1hour in... good stuff, i sweated a lot...
If yu don’t know guys on console you can go to graphics & unlock the frame rate to experience the full 30 FPS , makes the gameplay smooth & much more enjoyable.
Now do it on hard mode :^) Though, when I first unlocked hard mode, I was hoping it would be that you had to complete each mission with Silent Assassin, not that you have to do the dumb prestige objective every time
Any chance of doing this with a Hardcore campaign? The absolute challenge would be Hardcore, SA+SO, with 100% objective completion - but I don't think it's actually possible.
I'm currently working on it, trying to complete SA campaign on hardcore. 12 missions is the best result so far. I'm not sure if I have enough patience for it tbh. In freelancer, it's like more restrictions you have more you depend on RNG. I'd say SASO with all objectives would be just too ridiculous RNG fest because of many objectives focused on killing guards.
Silent Assassin isn't an obtainable title in Freelancer, as it's not exactly a title, but rather a perfect ranking you get for completing a mission with 5 stars. (All objectives completed, no [non-accident/poison] bodies found, never spotted, etc.)
"Silent Assassin" Play Style (the game's name for end of mission ratings) isn't available in Freelancer, even if you are a Silent Assassin. Most play styles with "Assassin" at the end are available as the closest to Silent Assassin in Freelancer (although some require non-SA criteria such as witnesses or bodies found).
Yes, it counts as an accident and if tranqed body is found it doesn't ruin SA. But keep in mind, if you move (touch) tranqed body you will lose SA if it's found.
I believe it is only non-targets who are tranquilized that are okay to be found while maintaining Silent Assassin rating. In the main game missions at least, if the targets are found when tranquilized, it voids Silent Assassin.
I honestly prefer watching runs like this over super fast runs that have been practiced to perfection.

I had this rating after every mission, even when I had SA prestige objective. And yeah, like people said, SA rating doesn't exist in Freelancer mode.

@@flavafee Tranq dart guns are fine for targets in contracts and in main missions, but all other sedatives (syringes, snail etc.) void SA.

There are some areas on the maps that are never visited by anybody, so it's safe to leave non SA bodies there.
