I’ve been trying out the setbuilder you recommended. Added in some charms and quiros craftings and managed to do this build and even get intrepid heart, embolden and evade extender on top of it. Probably my favorite bow build I’ve got due to not having to care about ele match ups. Thank you!
I still recommend Harbinger's Battlebow + due to its natural Lv.4 charge and Lv.3 Rampage Slot. You can then fully spec into affinity for the Qurio augs and do sort of the same. You don't get as many coating options, but it's a good bow to use
it's shot types are inferior, first two are spread not rapid. It's got 40 less defence. you lose a 2 slot for two 1 slots, and rampage deco slot 3 is marginally better than rampage deco slot 2 so i would agree with iixxion here that the Royal order + is the better one. Also the ZR+A shot is affinity which is better than brace
Hey, wait... in all seriousness. I feel like kunai are suppose to be useful outside of the ones you pickup during rampage quests. I still haven't figured out a good utility for them. Am I missing something or like is there a specific use for them. Also, can you use them in conjunction with other items/material to craft poison kunai on the fly?
Why did you use this bow over seregios bow? Was it the coatings. Also looking at the other sniper build u made too. Side note: one of my favorite mh UA-cam channels, ty for being awesome.
My latest sniper build, I actually started designing it around seregios. But yeah, i switched back to royal order because the damage was a touch higher, and it has the awesome coatings!
That’s what I’m talking about! I can’t wait to see how you made this build. I’d love to try it out (short of the augments, of course)!! Personally, I’m a big fan of Adrenaline Rush. Since I like to use dodge bolt a lot, why not take advantage of the benefits? Also, I absolutely love Defiance and Intrepid Heart for safety. What do you think?
The reason I took adren/bladescale off it, but kept the dodgebolt, is because ballistics+rapid puts me so far away from the monster that I can't proc those skills often enough to make them worth using. But on those occasions where the monster is using a ranged attack, or a leaping attack, or extending their valstrax wings all the way across the board, dodgebolt will save me. Charging sidestep would, too, I'd just have to learn the different timings (i.e. proactive positioning rather than reactive countering). As for defiance/intrepid, I hear it's a great combo! I don't get hit often enough to add more defensive stuff, but they would be a great addition for people who do!
I would certainly like to try this but as some other people have suggested I can't do that unless you show us the armor pieces and the full skill list of the set I heard that's gonna be in another video? Either way that would be awesome, thanks

my 2 nitpicks with this : 1) it lacks evade extender 2) bubbly dance gives some Evade window equivalent, making it easier to proc parries. Kind of anti-synergistic with the aim of this build
there's nothing "anti-synergistic" about it. having some extra evade window doesn't have any negative effect on the build at all. you don't have to have a use for every single effect a build gives. look at all the extra armor skills that just show up on a build, that have nothing to do with the build. Because they are built into the armor. do they all count as "anti-synergistic" too, if I'm not somehow taking advantage of them?
@@iixxion I mean it explicitely gives 2 more s, making procing adrenaline and bladescale easier than without bubbly dance, and then you go out of your way to specifically avoid those 2, despite being in a positive setup for it xD anyway its little detail thats why I said it's nitpicking not a realy criticism. when dango fighter 4 doesn't proc though, you're in for a rough quest :/

Hello, i would love to "copy" your actual set from this video if it's possible, i'm somehow starting bow and your set is really comfy for new bow users ! Still a great explaination video, and i look forward for your futures videos !
You can do this build with chameleos bow, I tried it and it worked really well. Only downside is you won’t get the 50+ defense but I managed to get intrepid heart as well on the build to help survivability
I believe there is only one problem with this kind of comfortable build. These builds, as comfortable as they are, make you forget that the bow is: "dodging monster attacks, and consequently, punishing". In my opinion, this types of builds, if used for a long time, tends to hide the real power of the bow because as I said, you have to know how to counter every single attack in the game and punish accordingly. Now, let's get to the main part of my talk, I use a comfortable build for a long time, so I forget that the dodgebolt is made for countering, therefore, you can go against: playing random, just shooting, without considering the dodge, so we are very weak to monsters, who attack us and we suffer attacks, even more than one in a row, if we fail to heal in time, and then we can return to the camp. In my experience in Rise, I used the comfortable builds, at the time along with the charge dodge, and I was hit many times during a mission, even died sometimes. By switching to dodgebolt, and eliminating "comfort" completely from my builds and pandering to the DPS of suicide builds, I have actually learned to counter 90% of the game's monster attacks. Only a few monsters are causing me problems now, and I'm talking about Violet Mizutsune, for example. However, I believe that if a person tends to eliminate comfort from his builds, they would be forced to dodge, and exploit openings, so they should learn the timing of dodging, as Suicide build plays with about 1/4 life for the entire life. playing a single hit can kill us, but in my opinion it's not true because actually if you dodge everything, well, nothing happens to you. This message to tell you, learn not to use comfortable builds and learn to dodge at least most of the game's attacks and you will see that using the bow is not just random shooting and dying because "I couldn't do anything" (I say this because playing online I see some really absurd things, people using the bow, really dying from attacks that are, at all, too easy to dodge). With this I have no intention and I do not want to belittle this build, but I speak in general, because I have been following you for a long time and I know that many people like this type of style, so absolutely respectable as a thing, but know that there is also another way, or suicide builds, and in my opinion it is the best way. (Speaking for me, I've been using it ever since I finished the Sunbreak story, and I've really learned to dodge everything, of course I came from a good path in Rise base as well, but that's about it).
Thank you for your thoughtful comments! I have to point out one fatal flaw in your logic, tho: if you use charging sidestep, you're not really dodging monsters' attacks. You're using intelligent repositioning. And if that's working well for someone, I don't see any reason why they should switch to dodgebolt and learn a totally different style.
@@iixxion absolutely, indeed, with my comment I will not force anyone to change the playstyle. However, based on my gaming experience, I wanted and I want to give other players an alternative point of view. Sidestep and Dodgebolt are two valid dodge types. Both are very strong, one is a safer and more comfortable style, but it must still be used with knowledge of the facts, the other is the classic "more risk, more reward" style. The vast majority of players prefer Sidestep because they believe it is easier to master, actually not, because if, as you say, it is used for positioning and not for "shooting", (I don't know if you understand what I mean) it is not trivial, not at all. In all of this thank you for answering me, because I forgot to mention the positioning factor regarding sidestep, 😉😊.
Not bad, but the element version seems to be superior for damage. Dealing ~100 damage per shot on it's matchup. That's ~25% more damage compared to this pure raw build which is a lot. Can see the number in my channel as I do some bow runs. The CC aspect is great tho, as some Rapid element bow have no para coating.
But the downfall of using element is Type match-ups. He traded off higher dmg to certain monsters/parts weak to specific elements for higher average dmg against all monsters and parts. This is also useful for things like not switching Gear midquest during multi-monster quests, or in between quest prep-time , which compensates the avg dmg loss through saving overall time. Which, besides flinching capabilities, I imagine is the intention of the higher dmg. There are Pros and cons to everything Element discriminates While Raw simply eliminates. pS : the tone of this comment is intended to be light-hearted, not a slight against your opinion, just fyi
@@Jbrowni3 Indeed it is more practical for multi monster. But 25% more damage is too good to pass for me personally. Yeah element discriminate, but it still eliminate faster on proper match up.
