- Tucson's Gem Show is like a giant museum where everything is for sale. Every year for two weeks the world's largest Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show is held In Tucson, Arizona. This year there were 47 different shows and each show featured scores of individual vendors. It's an amazing place.

Just wow...!! Feeling REALLY POOR in Florida now... until I saw this I really THOUGHT I had a “giant” amethyst geode among other pieces. Wow. Who can and does buy these beautiful beautiful gems? 💜
Amethysts either small or big---all good. Bigger income level =bigger stones. Some of the big specimens are purchased by museums. Some of the smaller specimens are beautiful.
Krieger awwww... see, that’s EXACTLY what I feel from my little guys... actually I have a beautiful 100+ pound amethyst that literally cures my headaches when I stick my head in it, but that came to me in a mysterious way. (Do you know why the BIG specimens seem to come from Brazil?? ) And I’ve been searching forever it seems for someone to try and answer a sort of strange personal issue that my specimen possesses. Maybe you can help? Anyway, I firmly believe that crystals have their own “agendas” and they have a way of “finding” their humans... sounds out there I know but that’s how it seems to me. I absolutely adore your vids... I’m in Florida (not exactly the crystal heaven as some areas are...) but if you have a moment of down time I would love your opinion on my strange occurrences... I find and dig crystals right from the ground. I have two double termination pieces and several cluster on matrix I could part with!

I love crystals especially for the reason that it is used for spiritual healing. Recently I had an itching thought that maybe we are over mining the crystals and not thinking so much about what it'll do to mother earth because I see people posting online showing ridiculous amount of huge crystals being harvested and sold in outdoor markets. I really hope that is not the case. It only grows about two centimeter over a period of ten million years depending what type. With an increasing amount earthquakes going on recently over the years it affects the growth rate of crystals as well. We have to be mindful of how much we harvest. We should only take only what is needed. Sorry for being a party pooper but I think it makes sense to be moderate and not get overboard with harvesting mother earth's minerals. Let's show some love and respect to mother earth.

WOW. hi ho hi ho it's off to tucson i go. really fantastic stuff. everybody check out the t. rex head at 6:12 it's huichol bead work from mexico . entire head is covered in thousands of 1mm colored glass beads.

Why no narration or captions??!! I'd like to know what I'm seeing. And the "musical" background adds nothing. It's boringly repetitive and annoying.
OK.. lets make one thing clear, i LOVE stones and minerals and these are AMAZING..
but, I guess the worst part of this is that these guys probably broke down an Amazing cave to get these to earn money from them.
- I would have prefered to be able to walk a "tourist path" in one of these caves and be facinated about natures creations !
I know not all stones/minerals/crystals are found in caves.. but, I do think some caves has been pilaged over the years!!

@@koreycowan1976 Think about if one of these merchants had found the Cave of the Crytals in Mexico, it would have been totally cut down to nothing. Try to seach the web for pictures and you will be AMAZED about it.
